• Fred (10/5): Once we got used to the bus stop locations and times , visiting the fabulous city was a pleasure. - There were no options for breakfast being an apartment. All cooking requirements met by a well equipped kitchen. The views by day were only surpassed by the night time ones. Nothing.

• Lorna (10/5): Hidden gem. The view is mesmerizing and the flat is comfortable, inviting and a touch of home - Everything. The view from the property is breathtaking. The location couldn’t be more ideal. And the host is the best. Nothing.
• Sarah (10/5): A lovely stay with fabulous views and beaches. - Emilio met us with the keys and explained everything which was very helpful. The apartment is very pleasant indeed and the view from the balcony exceptional. It was lovely to sit and watch everything whatever time of day! While you're not in the centre of town, this is a very nice neighbourhood, very well served by several bus routes from either up the hill or down! The buses are regular, cheap and the information boards are accurate so it makes getting around really easy. A walk to the lighthouse is really nice - there's a very nice gallery there and bar/cafe and again super views of the coast. The beaches are, of course, wonderful. I'd recommend the little beaches at the Magdalena Palace - the Bikini beach is a smallish cove. with lovely clear water - it was deserted when I was there in October but you could still swim. With a day or two in Bilbao you'd can have a super break in this area. We enjoyed lovely meals at Daria restaurant and Abra Sardiniero (which you can walk to along the beach from the apartment).

• Rocío (10/5): - El apartamento tiene unas vistas muy chulas. La limpieza excelente, camas muy cómodas . El anfitrión muy simpático y atento, estuvo pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estancia por si necesitábamos cualquier cosa. En caso de volver a Santander, volveríamos al mismo sitio, ya que hemos estado muy bien allí. Nada, todo muy bien.

• Pablo (10/5): Immaculate place with gorgeous views - Emilio, the owner, is a delightful person, highly attentive and respectful. He keeps this apartment in impeccable shape. We found it immaculately clean. He really cares about his guests and works hard at providing a pleasant experience. This unit is fairly close to the beach and has spectacular views of the Santander bay. The apartment is well furnished with kitchen utensils, beds are comfortable and furniture is highly functional. The place is decorated with taste and great attention to detail. Santander was fairly warm and humid when we were there and there were a few mosquitos coming in in the evening. We bought a couple of mosquito plug-ins and it took care of the problem. Installing bug screens would jeopardize the open air feel of this unit.

• Gorik (10/5): Great - Great location with a fantastic view! The host, Emilio, and his wife, are very friendly. They patiently waited for us, even though we arrived late due to rain and traffic jams, and had some delicious local food waiting for us. Our dog felt welcome too, there were eating and drinking bowls for him, even some snacks.

• Adrian (10/5): A very relaxing visit, with views so amazing, you hardly want to leave the balcony to explore the city. - Spotlessly clean. Excellent host. Very comfortable beds. Simply amazing views from the Balcony. Well equipped. Walking distance to the beach, if you are so inclined. Excellent bakery at the top of the hill above the apartment. The excellent views come with a price, the property is on the side of the a steep hill. You definitely need a car.

Emilio, the host, provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. He was incredibly accommodating and made sure that anything we needed was taken care of promptly. We greatly appreciated his hospitality. We will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful experience
• David (10/5): We would recommend the apartment and the town. Home from home due to all the extra provisions. Great host - Most things. Modest walk to local shops, beach, park. Amazing views. Emilio couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of space to relax, cook and work. We liked all the items you require for a longer stay were provided, dishwasher tablets, soap, olive oil, sugar, coffee pods, the list goes on. Very little. One small point is the mattress could be better quality. But we are fussy!

You can take the bus all day and night into the city or take a lovely walk along the beach! Our host Emilio was so kind and gave us all the information we needed! We simply loved it!!! 🥰

• Ana (10/5): A brilliant seafront stay - Beautiful location with outstanding views of the sardinero beach. Absolutely breath taking. The host was absolutely brilliant top. Checked in on us to see if we were having a good time. The apartment was ideal for a family break with good kitchen facilities to not have to eat out all the time which for us worked really well. Only very small criticism will be that there is quite a hill to walk up to the beach. So whilst in the summer season car near the beach is not good due to parking if you were going off season a car would be advisable.
