• Imme (10/5): - Alles was aanwezig voor een prettig en comfortabel verblijf. De keuken was voorzien van alles wat je maar nodig hebt, geweldig. Ook de locatie is prachtig en rustgevend.

• Adrian (10/5): Jederzeit wieder und gerne länger als zwei Nächte. - Besonders gefallen hat uns das heimische Gefühl. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in unseren "eigenen" vier Wänden und unser Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei unserem Aufenthalt gab es nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.
• Paula (10/5): Amazing place 🐨 - The place is amazing, much better in person than in pictures, immaculately clean, peaceful, and well-organized. It has everything needed for a great stay: a comfortable bed, a huge TV with Netflix and Disney, an equipped kitchen, and even beach towels, etc. Rod is an amazing host; he picked us up at the ferry and was always aware of any needs. However, the best part of the stay is the cute little neighbor, a koala living in the tree at the front of the house or immediately across the street. Loved this place and would recommend it to everyone.
• Manuel (10/5): - We truly felt at home, even though we were far away from ours. As a special bonus, we even spotted a koala sleeping in a gum tree right in front of the property! Rod is a legend — always around if you need anything, super helpful, and very chill. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.
• Aileen (9/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Rosalita. The apartment is lovely, well-equipped, clean and roomy. - Location is in walking distance to restaurants, hotel, Beach and playground. The bus route is within 300 m from the apartment as well. The apartment is also equipped in every aspect. Rod was very accommodating; offering to pick us up and drop us off from the ferry. As we had family there, we didn't need to do this. The TV was very intermittent and would freeze regularly, but this could have been caused by the inclement weather at the time. The pillows were quite uncomfortable, so I used the throw cushions off the lounge.
• Lilly (10/5): Lovely apartment in a great location. - The apartment had everything you could think of. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and we immediately felt at home. The location is great, close to a secure beach where you can go swimming and close to a bus stop. Rod was a fantastic host who gave us great recommendations. -

• Susanne (10/5): Wunderschöne private Unterkunft- sehr zu empfehlen! - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung . Es ist wirklich alles, was man sich wünscht, vorhanden, alles neu und durchdacht und Rod ist ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Für zwei Personen plus eventuellem Baby/Kleinkind perfekt. Auch die Lage in Picnic Bay ist toll, super ruhig und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell am Wasser oder kann etwas essen gehen. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt um die schöne Insel zu erkunden oder einfach mal zu entspannen. Das größte Highlight war ein Koala direkt auf dem Baum vor dem Haus, toll☺️ Es gab wirklich gar nichts!
• Nylen (10/5): Majestic on Magnetic - It's a very lovely place for a couple. Modern and good location. Very clean and Rod is a genuine nice guy taking good care of the place. Overall way better than expected and great value for money.
• WickedWanderer (10/5): An oasis in Picnic Bay - Beautiful, spacious, private, thoughtfully designed, modern accommodation in a peaceful location in gorgeous Picnic Bay. Has everything you need (and more!) for an island holiday. Rod is friendly and helpful and a good communicator. Would love to stay again! Nothing!

The position was fantastic. It was very quiet, even though it was a short distance to the beach and cafes and bars. There were even echidnas in the front garden!

Accommodation and facilities were clean, comfortable and had everything you need to live daily life, including a fire pit. Rod was an amazing host who had lots of local knowledge of things to do and see, even offering transport services to the ferry and country club.
• Sarah (10/5): SLICE OF PARADISE - We had a wonderful three-night stay at Rosalita in Picnic Bay on Magnetic Island. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed. Rod was a fantastic host—very welcoming, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island, which made our stay even better. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and relaxing vibe of the island. It was great having local restaurants and the brewery just a short stroll away. A perfect spot for a quiet getaway—highly recommended!

There is so much made available to guests, such as snorkelling and picnic gear and a range of board games. We appreciate your quick responses and helpful recommendations of what's to do on Magnetic Island. The accommodation is only a very short walk from the Maggie Island Brewery, which was an awesome place to visit, with great food and beverage options right at your doorstep. We felt very comfortable during our stay and the layout is very private, Rod has done a great job 👏 We look forward to staying again one day soon.

• Jordan (10/5): Overall good spot for couples or small families to stay, would definitely book again. - • Great location at Picnic Bay, close to buses + just a short walk from the beach as well as the bars/restaurants on the Esplanade. • Newly built, fully air-conditioned, self-contained unit with fully functional kitchen and laundry. • Compact but comfortable dining/lounge area with board games, netflix on TV, wifi, etc. • Well maintained outdoor area / terrace, outdoor shower also available. • Rod is a friendly host + owns a very cute dog. • Acoustic guitar available for those who practice. • No clothes dryer in laundry, but a clothesline is available outside. • No spare bath linen, but spoke with host who said he will add some. • Two-block walk from the bus stop can be a little tiring with heavy bags but is fine otherwise + the host kindly offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal if he was available when we arrived.
