- Colleen (7/5): - Everything we needed was there. Comfortable. Hard to find lack of directions sign to apartment was covered by tree. Confusing locating correct apartment. Signal could have Bern better. Very noisy due to works and or movements in main house.
- deborah (8/5): -
- graeme (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Country stay in the city - What a sweet, tucked away place not far from everything.
Generous space, friendly host, quiet, clean and inviting. The semi-rural setting and clucking chooks outside are another bonus. Happy to return here anytime.
- Ralph (8/5): Comfortable accommodation and excellent host - We were quite happy with the standard of the accommodation, although it was a little hard to find at first. However I must extend a big thank you to our host Michael for contacting me because I had left my wallet behind when we checked out, and he ensured it was safely returned. The shower is a little bit slippery due to the step up. A rail to hold onto would be useful for those a bit unsteady on their legs.
- Raelene (5/5): - Size was great Car parking no pathway too door especially for people with mobile problems Furniture outdated and very uncomfortable.Noisy upstairs Road access terrible and no suitable signage
- Patricia (2/5): Never again - Not much Strong smell of mould, none too clean and lots of noise from people walking around above plus water pump made noise all night
- Ingrid (5/5): Out dated - Quiet area Hard to find
- Barbara (7/5): Unusual stay. - This property needs a lot of work. However the very comfortable beds and the luxurious towels made up for a lot of the shortfalls. This is a basement flat and the noise from upstairs was substantial. Needs a good tart up.
- Belinda (5/5): - Clean linen and towels. Did not like being greeted by a dog humping my Leg.
I had noted previous reviews and booked as there was little choice. The property is noisy. Can hear people up stairs through the night.
- barbara (7/5): Very good stay. - Spacious unit, great to have a washer. The soap dispensers in the shower were empty.
- PATOU (5/5): - La localisation les lits
Location de passage Vaisselle sale
Lumière insuffisante
- Kathleen (8/5): Was convenient and very reasonably priced. - Was roomy for 3 people. Could not find hair dryer.
Difficult to find.
- Marion (10/5): Had a lovely relaxing stay - Large and very well appointed. Slightly in the country so nice and quiet.
- ietje (8/5): Great stay for a few nights. - We stayed here in 2025 also. Somewhat out of town but no problem for us.
Very quiet, great facilities including washing machine and soap powder in large kitchen,. Nothing however the washing machine seemed to leak a minimal amount of water.
- James (3/5): Only stay here if you’re happy to have people making lots of noise above you. - I liked the location being out of the way and was hoping for a quiet night. Whoever was in the above stairs area (not sure if that was the owners or other people for the night), but they seemed oblivious to the fact that there were people below them. They were stomping around loudly all night and talking and even singing at times way too loud, which made it hard to sleep.

- Virginia (8/5): Easy access and kitchen facilities for our meal. Quick to ferry terminal in Devonport - Good value and close to ferry terminal It was a little musty and lights on outside til late
- Paul Aston (9/5): We stayed twice as stopovers for Ferry & wouldn't hesitate to stay again.. - This was one of our best stays in Tasmania. It is a ground floor flat I am not sure but I think there is 1 other, plus a residence above. We had plenty of room, good kitchen & bathroom areas. It was very quiet whilst a bit out of town. The toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom
- Stephen (8/5): Ideal spot for exploring the area. - Quiet, countryside. Nice to see wildlife.
Well-equipped property.
Comfy bed.
Plenty of towels. Hot water in the shower was difficult to regulate.
Heating was OK, but not substantial enough for a winter let.
- Matt (8/5): -
- Malinda (10/5): -
- Alison (5/5): - Beds were comfortable, towels good It was noisy, basic and the shower was very awkward to use. A fair few spiders in all the rooms.
- Brajesh Kumar (9/5): -
- Jovan (8/5): The trip was great and enjoyable - Location exceptional Very cold inside. No instructions on how to start the heater or whether it was usable.
Split aircon if it was just for cooling or heating as well
- Robyn (8/5): We stayed one night. I would stay again but now I know what it offers - Very quiet, clean though basic. Hot plates badly need to be replaced so don’t look at cooking a meal unless you microwave it. In the country so very charming location Very basic. Noise upstairs
- Ann (8/5): A real countryside escape. - Quiet location. Lovely big towels, brilliant shower. Comfortable bed.
- Emma (10/5): Cosy and comfortable, has everything you need - Quiet, spacious and comfortable, close to the venue we needed to attend for a wedding. Shutters were fantastic when we got in on the afternoon after travelling for over 24 hours to have a quick nap Nil, it’s was great

- Sarah (9/5): Overall was great and would definitely stay there again - Very cosy, clean and comfortable, easy access to property. Kids loved playing with the chickens on the property and seeing the other animals. Hot water in the shower ran out very very quickly
- Loreen (6/5): It was a reasonable stay for the cost - Noise from the people upstairs. Stove was very hard to use. Property is difficult to find.
- Ecaterina (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean , well equipped, comfortable. And very private, and quiet location.
- Kat (8/5): Spacious and comfortable, but needs some airing! - Very comfortable beds. Kitchen fitted out well. Beautiful setting. Strong smell of damp and nil odor. No visible signs of damp though.
Tricky lane to get up and find.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Felicity (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Location was gorgeous, apartment spacious. Sofa bed had been prepared which was a bonus. Lots of animals to meet including a cheeky goat! Very easy check in and fast response to any questions we had. We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.
- James (5/5): If they address these issues I would probably stay again? - NO Breakfast! Entrance into Apartment very dangerous bare sharp metal exposed near key access! power to various stove and toaster blew up! Shower needs more light and what was extremely dangerous the step down from the shower was a bare laminated step with no grab handle to steady your self. I am a fit 77 year old and slipped and almost hit my face on corner of cupboard! OHS would have field day here! No tissues! No wardrobes to hang your clothes!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- J (8/5): Gr8 location from SOT berth - Very convenient location to reach, once we disembarked from our day's sail on the Spirit of Tasmania. Quiet, no traffic noise. Welcomed by the gorgeous Tasmanian Paddemelons as we drove up the driveway.
- Kathy (6/5): Ok stay - Bed very comfortable and warm. Booking easy. Not what I expected. Older than I thought from the photos
- Don (7/5): Comfortable - The mouse in the house.
- Stephen (7/5): Comfortable - The space Noisy floor boards above us.
- Neville (7/5): Good -
- Mandy (7/5): Our stay was okay but I feel the owner needs to provide more information on the property. - We arrived early evening from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry, and it was almost dark. I wasn't aware that this property was on the outskirts of town and along narrow, steep road to find it. On arrival it was confusing where to go for our room. We soon realised that this was an elevated house with a built-in apartment underneath, however the instructions received on my phone weren't clear as to where the key was. There was someone at the clothesline at the side of the house, so we went and asked what to do. The owner wasn't home, but the person assisted us to find our way. It was strange and a bit daunting.
- Mirabella (9/5): Great for overnight stay. - Quiet location, clean and tidy.
- Guy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (8/5): Brief but enjoyable - Enjoyed size of accomodation. It had every thing we needed and was very comfortable
- Diane (8/5): I will definitely stay again. - Nice quiet area outside of Devonport, family friendly and lots of wildlife nearby. Host was very helpful and has good automatic window shutters for security and good sleep.
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Douglas (10/5): Great facilities, clean, spacious, excellent host. - roominess, all facilities we required to relax and cook for ourselves Nothing
- Ietje (9/5): Fantastic stay. - Self catering. Great kitchen, very comfortable bed , lovely soft sheets.
Would recommend an will stay again when returning to Devonport. Nothing, driveway to house is narrow.
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Clean. Quiet upstairs after 9pm.
- Mcgregor (10/5): Best self catering ,spacious accommodation we have ever used. - 15 minutes drive from Devonport Car ferry. Need GPS to find.
Totally relaxing two bedroom apartment with entrance from garden surrounded by apple orchard and undulating pastures. Part of large house. Fully equipped kitchen, pleasant lounge and good bathroom and toilet. Good shower. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided and more for a self catering holiday. All good
- Wi (10/5): Country living at its best near town ametities were excellent would book again next visit to Devonport - Very clean apartment 5star at its best very spacious Driveway
- Keith (9/5): Luxurious beds! - The place was spacious, the beds were fantastically wonderful, very clean and with extra towels. The kitchen was well appointed. Good communication with the owner. Amazing for the price! It is in a quiet area, and not far away from the Lillico penguin viewing platform. The place is connected to (under) the main house. You can hear footsteps from above, but noise was kept to a minimum so it did not really bother us.
- Dharan (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very spacious and clean. Beautiful and very convenient location. Worth the money. No complaints.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Hilary (9/5): Quiet, restful home away from home. - It had everything we needed in lovely location

- Amanda (9/5): Superb - Lovely location and comfortable accommodation, kitchen was well equipped. Saw sheep and some rabbits. ☺️
- Ferrington (1/5): I didn't stay the night. I left due to being uncomfortable after an hour. - False or uninformative advertising. Say you live above the room and expect to hear vaccuming, voices and footsteps.
- Angela (2/5): Orchard 2brm apartment in don - Only the bed and window shutters The place was not cleaned properly all you could smell was mould when U entered the property, window open so place had blowflies in there little bugs on the beds all you can hear upstairs is banging, vacuming, talking when Ur trying to sleep.Spiders and webs everywhere every room, toaster was filfy the oven was all rusty I didn't use it the cupboard where cups n plate were smelt so mouldy U had to wash what U used cause it stunk. We were outside in seating area and got wet because the sprinkler system came on.The owner could of said something but no,the shower had only shampoo what made it hard, came out of my room to a scorpion running along the floor, the tv was to far away you couldn't read the guide, should have flyscreen on sliding door so U could open it and not have a room with heaps of flies. I would definitely not recommend the orchard 2 BRM apartment at all as it needs to have a deep clean as soon as possible

- 장현 (6/5): Pleasant - Space is big enough for family. It was difficult to find the location.
- Jim (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable. Great location and value for money. Was thoughtful of the host to put the heater on ahead of our arrival. Very strong smell of bleach when we first entered. Had to open the windows and doors for 15 minutes to air it out

Would recommend for a stay.
- Paul (5/5): Passable - Bed comfortable good shower kitchen well appointed Water leak in toilet & behind washing machine, not enough seating for five either at the table or on the couch
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Marcus (7/5): Good -

- Merylyn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Tanille (10/5): Awesome! - The roller shutters on the windows were a bonus. The kitchen facilities were great. No coasters on the coffee table, felt wrong putting coffee cup on it! And the bottom collapsed on me, gave me a little fright.

- Wildenauer (9/5): Superb - Great value for money in a beautiful rural setting. Large rooms, all facilities and more, great kitchen with washing machine. Room was unmade when arrived. Had to contact owner and come back a couple of hours later.
- Yen-chun (10/5): It is certainly worthy to stay here compared to live in Devonport downtown. It’s quiet at night. Although the hosts liv - Spacious place. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bed is clean and very comfortable! NA
- Tscharke (10/5): Excellent value and great base to explore Devonport and surrounds. - Accepted very late booking and communicated arrival procedure well. The accommodation is very comfortable and makes a great base to explore Devonport and surrounds. It's hard to see how anyone could have an issue staying here. Everything was fine, although the noise from the very vocal cats upstairs was slightly irritating when trying to sleep in during the morning. I felt that it would have been easy to bring mud into the place if you accidentally forgot to take your shoes off as you need to walk across a lawn to access the property, and it becomes slightly muddy after you walk across it.
- Fiona (9/5): Great location and beautiful rural setting -
