• Clare (10/5): It was quiet in the apartment and only a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. Our stay was relaxed. - The hosts were very helpful. We were met outside on arrival by the hosts brother who helped us with our luggage to our apartment. Everything we needed to know was explained to us. This is a family owned apartment and they were friendly and helpful. It gave the apartment a feeling of home. There was nothing about the apartment we didn’t like.

• Timis (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic Stay at Duplex Las Americas! Our recent stay at Duplex Las Americas was absolutely fantastic. The property was impeccably clean, which we really appreciated. The location was also a major plus, offering convenient access to everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and cooling off. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the property definitely met our expectations. We would highly recommend Duplex Las Americas to other travelers!
• Elizabeth (4/5): The apartment disappointing but the area Playa de Las Americas very nice with beautiful restaurants - My friend Sarah arrived before me at 1pm, as I had made know, the rep she met had no English, showed her text on his phone to return at 3pm, returned at 3pm unable to contact rep, returned 4pm gained access to apartment, Rep unable to communicate re internet, keys etc ,in fact no information at all provided. Overall the apartment was very disappointing, shabby, everything well worn, cushions torn, in need of decorating. For the duration of our stay a bucket of dirty water with a mop in it was outside our door, very unhygenic, infection risk. Bags of litter on each flight stairs to our apartment and stair floor very dirty not washed for months going on amount of dirt. Builders, building wall at pool each morning, when they had left for afternoon, no cleaning done, beds and ground covered in builders dust. Internet only available in apartment and not at pool and only 1 set keys provided. In the past Sarah Murphy and I Elizabeth Siobhan Kehoe have always trusted booking.com, we are so disappointed you would advertise such a sub standard apartment, we both thought you checked before advertising, clearly this is not the case.
• Jacinta (5/5): Disappointing - Location was perfect. Near all amenities. It wasn't very clean. It was a bit shabby. Definitely needs a deep clean and repaint. Also the Ad said Beachfront. It was not. It also said they had Netflix but they did not.

As to explain, please find below some lowlights: - THE GUY WHO TAKE CARE OF THE PROPERTY EXTREMELY HARD TO REACH AND VERY UNRESPONSIVE!!! -we took the keys from a bar nearby after we waited a lot af time and acter finaly talk to the owner - apartment is dirty - poor quality of cleaness - trash at the entrance of the apartment - dirty bedsheets - low water pressure - hard to take a decent shower - mold in bathrooms - uncleaned refrigerator - many more examples The complaint i made on Booking is still in work…….no answer and i am already home!
• Susan (7/5): Great location, nice pool area, well equipped but not very clean - It was well equipped with essentials like iron, kettle hairdryer and all kitchen essentials, the location was ideal a few minutes walk from the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Pool area was nice and peaceful with plenty of sun beds to relax on. The terrace was comfy with chairs and a table area. It was not very clean especially the shower/bath which had mould on the tiles and the shower pressure was really low. We had two towels left on an airer and one had a large stain on it, there were no bath mats. We struggled to get an answer about how to check in from the owner. A mirror in the double bedroom would have been helpful.

Waited nearly an hour for keys, once in, spent ages sweeping and mopping floors and washing rugs and towels and some dodgy fixtures and fittings were fallen off, not sure if bed linen clean, so slept on top, but ok because hot at night, photos have been taken and I am taking this further through booking.com after paying 1400 pounds! My worst experience with them!

Good pool area, clean with plenty of loungers. Secure access to building and pool. Close to bus stop with airport service running regularly. No air con in apartment. Apartment could have been cleaned better. Rug on floor was dirty. Some guests were noisy into the night.

• Alison (7/5): Duplex appartment in great locatiom - Appartment was very safe and quiet in a fabulous location near to everything. Easy walking distance to beach and restaurants. Also had pleasant swimming pool. Disappointed that we had to pay an additional Eur 25 to check in at 8 o'clock when check in clearly says until 11 with no mention of extra charge. Lots of missed matched pillows which were very dirty under pillow cases. No kettle!

• Chiara (8/5): Apartment Review - The location is excellent, only a 3 minute walk to the beach and all amenities, the pool is lovely and very relaxing, lovely views from the balcony. Apartment complex is private and needs a key to enter and felt very safe. Everyone was very friendly. Cafe/Bar outside the apartment complex is excellent, very cheap and great food (not loud at all). The bedrooms are very spacious, could do with more hangers. Balcony is spacious. Apartment complex is pretty quiet and relaxing. There are a lot of steps (5 single flights, third/top floor) Anyone with bad knees or arthritis will not make it, but we got a lot of exercise. Should have specified no lift. Although, the person who did greet us, did carry our cases through the apartment complex and up all the flights of stairs for us and also when leaving carried our cases down for us as well. We asked a few days before leaving for a later check out to accommodate our late flight home and the owner was very accommodating for a small extra fee which was extremely fair. It should have been made clearer that there is no reception. The phone number on booking.com to ring to access the keys kept going to voicemail and in Spanish, so could not understand what they were saying. We should have been given the owners' contact mobile number beforehand to arrange getting the keys and to speak about arrival time and what to do if arriving earlier than check-in time. Had to wait 2 hours in the heat with cases. Took several attempts of contacting through booking.com, and eventually had to contact customer services who contacted the owner, who then contacted myself directly. Was told the apartment was being cleaned as to why we couldn't get in earlier and nowhere to leave our cases while waiting. Apartment was not cleaned properly, disappointed about this.

• Karen (7/5): All right apartment, great location, needs washcloths. - The location was great and the duplex apartment was quite spacious. it was a short walk from the apartment to the beach as well as a myriad of restaurants & shops. Just across the street was small shop where you could buy sodas toilet paper and so forth and just a little further up the street was quite a large supermarket. Being in the vicinity of many hotels it was very easy to go to the hotel next-door to request a taxi. The apartment itself was located about a 15 minute drive from the airport (approximately €25 by taxi) and about five minutes from the port where a lot of excursions boats leave from (approx. €7 by taxi). There’s no real reception or front desk or management available but the person responsible for the apartment was quite accessible by messaging through the Booking.com app. although we had enough towels it would’ve been nice to have some wash cloths and kitchen towels as well. we never figured out how to get the stove to work and we ended up not really bothering to use it at all. The apartment was on the third floor of a walk up and for an elderly person like myself it was a little rough.

• Lynn (9/5): Lovely apartment. - Really nice, spacious, well equipped apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic and would definitely stay again. Host was very pleasant and helpful. There was a bit of confusion from our taxi driver as to where the apartment was located and when I tried to call the host the number on the details didn’t work. Therefore it took longer than we expected to get into the apartment. Saying that we would definitely stay again because we know exactly where it is now. Could do with a mirror in the main bedroom and a kettle and ironing board would be nice.

When moving into the apartment, the loggia door was already broken, it could not be closed, the loggia blinds were torn, black hair was strewn on the floor, the sofa in the living room smelled of beer, there was an unwashed carpet in the washing machine." This was one of the worst apartments I have ever rented. Booking rating is not true , the only good thing is the location. The staff doesn't understand English. I had to wait for 40 minutes when I checked in for them to come and give me the keys. We are falsely accused of damaging the accommodation. The staff sends messages at midnight. If you stay at this accommodation, be sure to take a picture of it before moving in.
• Vladyslav (8/5): Good place to stop for your holiday for two couples - Was excellent experience in communicating with the apartment owner. Amenities inside the apartment: two toilets on different floors, two washing machines, two dryers, a new refrigerator, large comfortable balcony, which is always in the shade, also include all necessary utensils. On the street inside the complex is available a nice swimming pool only for residents. The nearest beaches are 10 minutes walk. An underground garage for your rented car is also available We had a bad experience with noisy neighbors who came to party but there is a possibility that we are in such a party season, and this does not always happen. Also the iron didn't work. We saw cockroaches twice on the first floor. The light on the balcony did not work.
