• Guest (8/5): اقامة رائعة ومميزة - الفندق كموقع رائع وطاقم العمل ممتاز ومتعاون للغاية ويتسم بدماثة الخلق والتعامل الراقي واحترام النزلاء وتقديم العون لهم الازعاج في المنطقة التي يقع فيها الفندق حيث انه يقع في وسط البلد والسيارات لا توقف ابواقها والكلاب تنبح والغرف المجاورة للمصعد ازعاج مستمر بسبب استخدام المصعد من قبل النزلاء على مدار الساعة لا يقدم الفندق لنزلائه الماء لا في الغرف ولا اثناء الافطار في المطعم

• Sophie (9/5): Super Séjour - Un hôtel très bien placé en plein Downtown qui permet de s'imprégner de l'ambiance locale cairote. Tout le personnel est très attentionné et souriant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Seul petit bémol: le bruit de la rue est omniprésent.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den hoteleigenen Tourorganisator, Hassan, welcher uns während unseres Aufenthaltes unterstützte, für uns interessante Exkursionen arrangierte und uns dabei Kairo aus der Perspektive eines Einheimischen erleben liess. Insgesamt empfanden wir das Hotel als geeignete Unterkunft für einen authentischen, einwöchigen Trip nach Kairo: Vom einheimischen Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse über in Fussnähe erreichbare Shops und Metro bis hin zu nahegelegenen Touristenattraktionen - einfach und nahbar. Shokran! Das Badezimmer hätte einige kleinere Reparaturen (z.B. Tuchhalterungen) nötig, während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir dies aber nicht als sehr störend empfunden. Eine Anleitung zur Bedienung des Safes hätte geholfen.

• saad (1/5): - لم يعجبني شيئ .. بصراحة تعامل الموظفين بالفندق سيئ جدا بالذات في البداية طلبوا مني الدفع كاش قلت لهم ماعندي الا الفيزا فيها المبلغ كامل طلبوا زيادة 2.5 % وتبريرهم ان المبلغ ذا يخصمه البنك منهم عمولة يعني بالعربي سرقة باحتراف رفضت وقلت لهم هذا نصب واحتيال وبعدها يقولون ترى كلها 8 ريال بالسعودي يعني مبلغ بسيط وهذي سياسة الفندق عندنا سكنت لأني كنت مرهق من السفر وصورت مبلغ الخصم وطلبت مديرهم وبعدها وضحت لهم بأي راح اكتب التقرير عنهم كامل ارسلوا لي موظفة المطبخ بكوب ماء وعصير ورفضته نهائي وبعدين رجعوا لي المبلغ 85 جنيه ..طلبت منهم سليبر[شبشب حمام ] ماجابوها لي نهائي ...فندق سيئ لايستحق حتى نجمة واحدة والتعامل منهم أسوء ..بإذن الله لن يتكرر زيارتي لهم نهائي واحذر منهم يعلم الله اني مازودت شيئ عن اللي صار معاهم ...

• Γιώργος Καπ (6/5): Don't book suite of 2 bedrooms. They're all in the front main road. - You live Cairo once and you must live it here downtown to tell stories 😄 The stuff was so friendly and kind. It was near the center, all the markets and the location offers variety of good restaurants. Next time I'm going to New Cairo to stay because the noise was awful. We couldn't sleep the 1st night until we got used to it. The glass they have installed doesn't work for soundproofing at all.

• wilfried (9/5): - Die Lage des El Shams zu Metro, Taxi, Restaurants, Banken, Museen, Basar und zum Fluss Nil ist außergewöhnlich. An der Rezeption ist man sehr hilfsbereit und hilft in allen Lagen. Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich. Die angebotenen Exkursionen sind sehr gut - auch hier, das Fahrzeug ist gut im Schuss, sehr sauber, Fahrer und Guide helfen in allen Lagen und sind sehr freundlich. Auch beim Frühstück kam man den Anforderungen unseres europäischen Magens sehr entgegen - vielen Dank. Was man noch verbessern könnte: Das WLAN fällt gerne aus, den defekten Terminal for the Creditcards erneuern, die Zahlungen in Cash waren mühsam (ATM gibt max. 4.000,-) und teuer (hohe Gebühren). Insgesamt wurde uns der Einstieg in eine fremde Welt mit großer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft sehr einfach gemacht. Vielen Dank. The Austrian/Vienna Family

• Manlio (1/5): A shame to Egypt, choose an honest hotel - the door people kind and helping the concierge/management of the hotel is a shame for Egypt as a country. I booked through booking.com that specified I would have paid the amount in USD $. When arrive, at 1 am the arrogant concierge told me I could only pay the amount in Egyptian pound and charged me an illegal 5% commission for online payment. When I complained he advised me to pay in cash (of course I walk around Cairo with 250USD worth of egyptian pound) and to relax. Rude scammer, he is a shame to such a beautiful country and millennial culture. Due to his dishonesty I ended up paying an additional 15Euro that of course dont change my life but it s a battle I wont let him win. As we speak I raised this to Booking attention and I hope they will stop them from playing this trick to other tourists. The Rooms are old (but as per the pictures), what was also disappointment is the poor isolation from the street noise, making a night of sleep possible only with earplugs

• Andrea (10/5): Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen und möchte auf alle Fälle wiederkommen. - Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und mit genug Stauraum auch für drei Wochen Urlaub. Matratze und Kissen waren sehr bequem. Das Bad war schön, ich freute mich morgens auf die heiße Dusche. Besonders erfreulich war das nette Personal. Scheima und Amr, die auf der Dachterrasse das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück servierten und auf Wünsche eingingen. Amr hat oft noch abends auf der Terrasse Tee und andere Getränke serviert. Mitgebrachte Erdbeeren hat er gewaschen und schön dekoriert serviert. Auch die drei Herren an der Rezeption haben immer kompetent und sehr freundlich geholfen. Das Zimmermädchen sowie die beiden jungen Männer waren hilfsbereit und der Pförtner auch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen und die Fahrt zum Flughafen haben sehr gut geklappt. Wie alle Hotels in Downtown ist es auch in diesem Hotel bis in die Nacht relativ laut. Ich habe trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen.

• Anke (8/5): Sehr gutes, preisgünstiges Hotel. - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück variiert und schmeckt. Die Dachterrasse ist fantastisch. Es lohnt sich, auch abends dort zu sitzen. Amr verwöhnt die Gäste dort - v.a. abends - auf professionelle, unaufdringliche und sehr freundliche Weise. Alles hat vorzüglich geklappt. Ich hoffe, bald wieder dorthin fahren zu können.

It's well located close to restaurants and cafes. Friendly staff. They tried to charge 5% more when paying by credit card then I did with cash. That extra charge was not specified in the Booking reservation. The Internet connection was bad.

• Habip (4/5): - Konum merkezi bir çok yere yakın. Terası güzel. Odalar pek temiz değildi. Pencereler tam olarak kapanmıyor. İşlek bir cadde üzerinde olması nedeniyle tüm gün aşırı şekilde ses geliyor. Altında dönerci olduğu için ara ara koku da geliyor. Kahvaltı iyi değil farklı seçenekler sunulmuyor. İstenildiği takdirde tur ayarlıyorlar. İlk tur ayarlamada sorun yaşamadık ama ikincisinde fiyat için ilk olarak 70 $ anlaştık. Fiyatı 5-6 defa teyit etmemize rağmen sonradan bir hata yaptık 100$ ödemeniz gerekiyor dediler. En son 80$ anlaştık. Kredi kartı ödemelerinde %5 komisyon ekliyorlar.
