Guest Reviews
- Rocio (9/5): - El cuarto está bastante bien, no hubo problemas con el baño compartido. Sólo tomen en cuenta que hay muchas escaleras pequeñas para subir, en caso de que tengan maletas grandes.

- Mark (8/5): - Property (and shared bathroom) were clean and all according to the description. Parquet flooring too noisy when someone walks.
- Radim (9/5): Special thanks to the owner / landlord for her willingness to help when needed. - No Breakfast was included, but there was the option to use the very well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy. For me, the location was excellent, close to my business trip destination.

- Mykola (9/5): Everything is quite good. - Kitchen and dining room is excellent. Lack of bathroom set is somewhat upset.
- Chris (10/5): Location was convenient for my needs - Modern, clean, good furniture quality.
Common shared kitchen has modern working appliances and allows for home self-catering
Bathroom clean and all shower working with hot water Sound proofing between rooms are very thin plaster boards and door sound insulation not so great
No workdesk or table in the room to allow for deskwork
- Michal (8/5): - Great location, close to the metro.
Spatious house The room in the attic is not taller than 185cm and this info is nowhere to be found.
- Jacek (10/5): Polecam - Lokalizacja i czystość
- Ines CHARDONNET (7/5): - Premises and location Many stairs and I had a big luggage. I self checked in late at night and no-one around to help. I didn't know about the narrow stairs and 2 levels of stairs and I got a bit in difficulty

- Andre (7/5): Accessible, safe and budget-friendly accomodations for solo travellers in the Etterbeek district of Brussels - The accomodation is on a flat situated close to Place St Pierre, which is on the diverse and vibrant Etterbeek area of Brussels. It is accessible by both the 81 tram and the nearby Merode Metro station. There are a variety of local bakeries, grocery shops and restaurant to choose from. From here, the Parc Cinquantenaire is 5-10 minutes walking distance, the Europan Quarter is a Metro station away at Schuman. The booked room is on the 2nd floor, with access to a shared bathroom as well as a shared kitchen and garden on the ground floor. It's accessible, safe, and clean place recommended for travellers. The room can be quite warm due to the summer heat, but there are adjustable windows and an electric fan. The floors are creaky. Overall a nice accomodation but an AC unit plus more cupboards to store things would be gladly appreciated.

- Horia (8/5): Very good -
- Николай (8/5): Great stay - Very good location. Very clean. The pillow and the bed are uncomfortable.
- Kennedy (9/5): Would deffo stay again - Comfy beds, good location, very clean, easy to get into to, friendly staff Hot needs air con
- Carlos (4/5): Meh. - There were no humans. Also, no shower gel or shampoo.
- Viviane (7/5): Good - The common area is very clean and modern. There’s a kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle, and toaster. There’s also an iron available. The small garden is a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They reconfirmed if i want the room in the basement.
The location was fine for me — about a 10-minute walk to the metro. There’s also a bike rental station nearby. I had the basement room (“Bitcoiner”) with a private bathroom, so i can’t rate the upper rooms. Don’t expect any luxury — the room is very basic: a soft double bed, a wardrobe, and a fan. The window can be opened, but since it’s a basement window, there’s not much airflow. You can see the silhouettes of passersby when the curtain is open. The room was generally clean, but it’s better not to inspect too closely.
- Clemens (3/5): Poor - the bathroom is clean and the area is nice the roof is extremely low in the attic- I (1.90) could not stand in there. In summer the room is extremely stuffy with the windows closed- with open windows it is loud and bright. there is a light in front of the door to the room that lighted up at irregular intervals all night for now apparent reason at all and made it quite hard to sleep.
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Very good in concept and execution. Very classically Belgian, but and overlay of high-texk reference.
Licenced the Blockchain inspired room names.
Very clean, very convenient for Troon metro and tram stations, quite close to the European Quarter.
- Pedro (8/5): Very good - Second stay in 2 weeks. The biggest issue of last week (cigarette smell) has been solved, I had been unluky to have followed a inconsiderate smoker.
Main pros:
- Decent price
- Good location (close to Merode Metro, next to tram stop)
- Clean and well equiped kitchen
- Good wifi
- Easy checkin/checkout My room was in the basement (I believe it's the only one with private bathroom), which meant:
- Narrow stairs to go to the room
- Single window that does not allow for good ventilation
- Some broken tiles/holes on the walls/faulty faucet
- A bit noisy (street noise, especially when tram passes by) -> I recommend ear plugs, enough to solve the noise issue
These are overall small issues considering the price
- Mikus (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (7/5): Affordable alternative stay in Brussels European quarter - A quiet basement room with plenty of daylight. Easy access. A kettle for tea of coffee would be nice
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - they never sayd the check in is only after 15:00 before i payd for it .. they message me after i was payd for .. i was need it a room at 10 in morning .. they took the money … i was ask to have a room at 10 or give me the money back .. i get none of this .. no room no money back .. they should let people know before they payd the check in hour .. .. or return the money .. not ripped people off the money …
- Nada (8/5): Very good - The room is clean and spacious, I rented the room with private bathroom.
The property is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood that has many shops and restaurants, with a 15 minutes walking distance from the Merode metro station. The room was ok but quite expensive given that it's located in the basement and the furniture & facilities are not very new. also the floor tiles are very old and need to be replaced or refurbished.
- Pedro (7/5): Good - Big private room.
Well equiped and very clean kitchen.
Close to the tram and metro. The room had a strong cigarette smell. That's probably not the property's fault but it was still uncomfortable. The one window below the ground floor wasn't sufficient to clear the smell.
The room is old and has some broken bits. The cold water tap was a bit faulty.
The room is not very soundproof but ear plugs solve the issue.
- Gabriele (5/5): Passable - Central location Not very welcoming
- Dániel (10/5): highly affordable - - Closed to the Parc du Cinquantenaire (walking, running)
- Closed to the Center
- I was afraid of the shared bathroom, but it was tidy
- The shared kitchen and dining room is big and well equipped - The old doors and their locks are noisy
- Theodor (8/5): Good place to stay - Everything was regularly cleaned. Good location close to the underground. Easy check-in and check out. Some maintenance is needed. Namely, the shower does not work properly (switching between the shower and the bathtub). The kitchen utilities are modest. There is only one pot to cook something. There is also a problem with waste sorting. All waste is going into one bin.
- Singh (3/5): Poor - Property was clean. But the room that I got for €81 was on the the attic with no bathroom. Very difficult stairs to climb. Very far from the city.
Zero value for money
- Bocarova (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (10/5): Perfect ! - Every thing
Very well furnished, clean and well presented Nothing
- Amaury (7/5): Good -
- Sophia (10/5): Very nice place. - The rooms were clean and spacious Pillows weren't comfortable, but that's a detail for some but not for me.
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eugen (7/5): Good -
- Akter (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (8/5): Very nice stay - My room was ideal for the solo and petite traveller. It was the roof bedroom and by day 2 I learned to stop bumping my head on the ceiling :) the bed is enough for my 1,50m body, but maybe not for very tall individuals.
I really liked staying there, everything was clean, operational, and functional. The shared kitchen had all basic amenities, the shared bathroom was neat and had a lock.
I gave it 8 stars because I have 2 things I noticed that could be a little better:
1. I wish that the movement-activated light in the hallway was not quite so sensitive, because it kept turning on all night and I could see it through the cracks around the door.
2. the water in the shower would either be too hot or too cold, with very light pressure.
Overall, very pleasant place, everything is taken care of perfectly.
- Olivier (8/5): Very good -
- Milena (9/5): Brussels bed&blockchain - Very nice, clean, sunny and comfortable place. The location is very good /only 3 km from top center/ and easy to get to. There are enough shops/incl.laundry/ and restaurants in the near 20-50 mtrs around. The shared kitchen is very clean and there is everything one could need to prepare some dishes. The garden space is also very cute. I'd gladly stay again at this place! ?
- Pier (8/5): Very good -
- Lucas (2/5): Top room highly dysfunctional - Not able to stand up in the room because extremely low ceiling. Not being able to sit (no real chair nor table). No light at the very top of the stairs, so on needs to use flashlight to go to the bathroom at night.
- Karl (8/5): Very good - Very clean both private and shared areas, and with a well equipped shared kitchen. Easy self check in and check out procedure. Not in the city centre but in a nice neighborhood, close to two grocery stores, a tram stop just around the corner, and a metro station a few blocks away. The only problem was that I had the attic room and since I'm quite tall I could not stand up straight in my room. But that would probably not be an issue for most people.
- Antonina (10/5): Exceptional - It is located near metro, easy to get to centre. And nice to rest after a vivid life and adventure, as it’s in pretty quiet neighbourhood. Cleaned everyday and in general is very nice looking) recommend for Brussels
- Sinden (9/5): Excellent and comfortable choice for someone travelling solo. - Once I became better acclimmated to Brussels, I realised that I was staying in an excellent location (near tram line that went directly to my train station and close to a metro line that took you into the city centre). Very near the Parc du Cinquantenaire. The room was comfortable and quiet and the shared bathroom was always clean and surprisingly available. There is a very friendly cafe nearby called 'Le Berry' that serves great coffee. Was simply nervous about the staircase leading to the attic room 'To The Moon' but it ended up being fine. Would just simply warn anyone who is not keen on steep or spiral staircases.
- Cristian (9/5): Superb - Great location in one of the best areas of the city, super clean. I stayed 5 nights because of work in Brussels, and I had all that I needed in this property.
- Zaruhi (10/5): Exceptional - Nice space, comfortable kitchen area, fit for coworking. Very reponsive host. Very helpful, very quick to answer any quieries.
- Emily (10/5): Great stay, would recommend - - easy to get to, only 10 min train from city
- seamless check in
- comfortable bed and clean bathrooms
- spacious kitchen
- staff reply quickly and are very helpful
- close to multiple supermarkets and shops
- Laundromat 3 mins from property - shower was a little temperamental, the water quickly changed from hot to cold without touching the handle
- the kitchen could do with some more pots and pans, the people in the other rooms didn’t clean up after themselves but that’s not the hosts fault
- Niall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (7/5): Pleasant stay, sleep was a bit broken as the walls weren’t soundproof but great location and good value for money - Good location, very clean You can hear people coming in late at night up the stairs and the walls are not really soundproof
- Charles (10/5): I got great sleep in a cozy room that was easy to get to - For what I paid, I was sort of astonished by how nice the room is. Room was super clean and the mattress was great. I slept so well. Having the bathroom outside of the room is not the best, but it was clearly stated ahead of time, and not an unreasonable thing considering the price.
- Arahi (7/5): Good -
- Milan (10/5): Excellent! - Amazing place, nearby ammenities such as a convenience store and pharmacy are available. Joseph and her sister are wonderful hosts. The electricity went out at midnight yet Joseph came all the way and sorted it out immediately. Simply worth the money
- Diana (8/5): Comfy and warm apartment full equipped. - The apartment is equipped with every detail. Is a comfy and warm apartment. The staff was super nice. There is a supermarket near by and the metro straight to the center at 10 min walking. The only problem we faced was to share the kitchen and bathroom. Sadly the other guests were not the cleanest. But we noticed a person was coming to clean every day.
- María (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gianfranco (3/5): Poor - the position The room was on a basement floor, but that is not the problem, the problem was that the room was on a floor where there were pipes, plumbing, even exposed electrical wires. There was a constant sound of equipment going off, like a boiler and so on, and a constant sound coming from the floor above, probably footsteps and so on. I don't know if Belgian law allows a B&B room to be set up in such conditions. Also, I paid €110 per night, not €30. The room in the complex looked clean, despite the general decay.
- Uros (9/5): Superb -
- Federica (8/5): Very good -
- Ariane (10/5): I will come back. - Sharing the bathroom was fine. The location and transportation were great. Little grocery store nearby, restaurant and snacks around.
The kitchen was great and meeting the other residents great too A table + chair would be nice in the room.
TV?: not a must but would be appreciated.
- Katie (9/5): Superb - Close to public transport and food places, comfortable and clean, new renovations, owners are absolutely lovely and even shared some soup with us! A perfect stay
- Nini (8/5): Very good -
- Iaryna (9/5): Clean place near the center - We liked the place of residence: close to the tram, not far from the subway, around a supermarket and several shops, not far from the 50th anniversary park. It was quite clean and the common area is quite comfortable, large and well-equipped Check-in time is quite late at 15:00, but that is the case in most of Brussels. The owners allowed to leave things in the common area. But they were quite inflexible in communication regarding settlement
- Roman (8/5): Very good -
- Lugano (7/5): Good -
- Alex (5/5): Passable - Clean, the bathroom was not bad and well cleaned. There was no space to work such as a desk, which appeared in some of the photos of the lodge.
- Filip (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (8/5): Overall it was good stay. - Location was good Room was hot but they gave me the fan
- Arsen (5/5): Passable - Great location, nice and supportive staff. The shower didn't work properly, the floor was not very clean and appeared old. Additionally, since the room was in the basement, the air circulation was poor.
- Vidhya (9/5): Good and easy access to the public transport - Room was clean
- Carina (8/5): Very good -
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Zinzi (10/5): The place is spotless clean! Quite and provides privacy. Love IT! The owner was very friendly -
- Lee (10/5): It is an enjogable trip - clean environment, good location, convenient facilities
- Cuneyt (9/5): Superb - Quiet. Shared bathroom but only two rooms on the floor. I stayed 3 nights and i met another customer only once. So it was like private bathroom. Another plus is there are two sinks. Every room has its own sink. The bathroom was spacious. There is a shower cabin and a bathtub. Nothing
- Elizabeth (3/5): Good on budget, not for comfort or sleep - Location was good, it was very clean. Taft are friendly and accommodating with requests. First the pillows are tiny and can only be considered as sofa throws. Absolutely horrid to sleep on. Secondly, the steps are very loud. First floor is actually nearly the third floor.
- Raphaël (8/5): Very good -
- Tanishka (9/5): Great hosts! Would stay there again. - The host was very accommodating when I requested an alternative room due to a chronic back condition. She went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Her brother carried my bag to my room and the kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was spacious and the wifi was fast. Great location too. A few extra cushions would make the attic room more comfortable for relaxing AH.
