• Niamh (10/5): - This is a beautiful spacious, comfortable apartment, situated on a side street in a residential area, off the main road. It is close to several supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants etc. and is a short taxi ride from the main archeological sites. It's very quiet at night and we were able to sleep very well. As we arrived on an overnight bus, the owner very kindly let us check in early, and refused to accept any extra money for same. I would definitely choose this place again.

• onyoung (7/5): 3룸이상 필요할때, 가성비 숙소. - 가성비 좋은 시설입니다. 넓은 3베드룸에 저 가격은 외국에서 이집트 검색하면서는 쉽지 않을 것 같긴 합니다.(또 열씸히 하면 가능할 것도 같습니다. 관리하시는 분이랑 연락이 아주 빠르게 잘 됩니다. 골목인데 바로 앞에 나가면 안전해보이는 동네에, 시장이 있어서 여러모로 편리합니다. 지역은 매우 안전해보입니다. 화장실 세개 좋습니다. 청결이 많이 아쉽습니다. 보이는 곳은 그나마 괜찮은데, 조금만 방구석이나, 침대밑, 가구옆은 좋지 않습니다. 주방이 많이 안좋습니다. 욕실은 두개인데, 하나만 지속적인 따뜻한 물로 샤워가능합니다. 렌터카 여행에서 룩소르 시내가 주차가 어려울 것 같아서, 외곽 멀리에 숙소를 잡았는데, 룩소르 시내 한복판도 어디든 주차가 생각보다 수월하니, 시내로 가세요.

• Belén (1/5): Mi peor experiencia en Booking - Había bananas y naranjas de cortesía. Todos los baños de la propiedad estaban sucios, con restos de materia fecal en la taza y la tabla del inodoro (sí, ¡los tres baños!). Además, los muebles estaban llenos de polvo y las sábanas tenían manchas, como consecuencia de un mal lavado. Cabe aclarar que llegamos tarde a Luxor, alrededor de las 23.00 hs. A pesar de que el dueño nos enseñó el departamento, al estar cansados no prestamos la suficiente atención para darnos cuenta de todo esto a tiempo. Esa misma madrugada, tres de las cinco personas del grupo nos fuimos a dormir a un hotel porque nos resultó repugnante quedarnos allí. Es una pena porque el lugar podría ser perfectamente habitable, pero está claro que le faltan limpieza y mantenimiento. Espero que otras personas no tengan que pasar por esto.

• Jenni (10/5): Amazing place! :) - We had a truly wonderful time at this accommodation. Everything we needed was available, and the terrace was absolutely stunning! We highly recommend this place. The owner and the drivers were incredibly kind and understanding. When we arrived very tired, they kindly allowed us to move our excursion day to the following day, which we really appreciated. Transportation was easy and so well organized, and we were able to see many beautiful places such as Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, Luxor Temple, and Dendera Temple. :) The area is very peaceful, and there are many small shops nearby where you can buy food and other important things. The house is spacious, and both the shower and the bed were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay here — thank you so much! :) Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Zona comoda per visitare il centro. L'unica pecca è che 2 docce su 3 non avevano la tendina e ogni volta il bagno si allagava. Non è stato però un problema insuperabile in quanto c'era a disposizione anche uno spazzettone.

• Elizabeth (10/5): A wonderful, spacious haven in Luxor - We loved everything about our stay here. First of all, the flat we stayed in on the 4th floor is huge! Set over 2 floors, huge king size bed in the master bedroom, smaller bed in the 2nd, a very comfortable living room with sofa, coffee table etc, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need to ensure a convenient stay, including all crockery, bin liners etc, washing machine, large fridge, cooker. Two bathrooms, tons of clean towels. The air conditioning in the flat is top notch, really effective! The master bedroom has a wonderful large balcony overlooking the Nile, truly great to sit out on during the evening. The flat opens out onto the shared terrace area which has a very comfortable seating area, barbecue and a small pool - rooftop and Nile views wonderful. We were very lucky as when we stayed we also had the terrace all to ourselves! There is a lift, or you can take the stairs. The owner, Mohammed is a star - from the moment we booked he contacted us to make sure we had all necessary information and to offer his help with airport transfers and so on. Mohammed is such a kind and helpful host, while we stayed there he contacted us on WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed and to ask whether we would like the apartment cleaned and linen changed, nothing was too much trouble for him and he really helped so much to make our first trip to Luxor so easy and enjoyable, organising our transport for us etc too. Abdullah and Ahmed were fab drivers, always there to help drive us or collect us from destinations, friendly and so helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful flat run by a lovely family to any visitor to Luxor. There are supermarkets a couple of minutes walk away in this local neighbourhood which is just outside central Luxor, there are a couple of decent restaurants nearby too. Nothing, all perfect 😁

• Pierre-Alain (8/5): Decent if you want to visit Karnak Temple - The location is right next to Karnak temple and lots of local shops. It was perfect to visit the temple early in the morning. The manager was also very polite and helpful. The whole flat was very unclean. It was not clear when it was last cleaned. There is some construction happening nearby so the balconies can get dusty. Moreover, not one mirror was clean, so we just tried our best not to dwell on anything too much. While it's understandable that Egypt is dusty, this was our only unclean accomodation in a 10 day trip.

• Ahmed (9/5): Superb - My stay in Abu Hisham Nile flat was an excellent surprise. I was located just next to the Hilton Luuxor Hotel. Actually, my bedroom balcony was not only over the hotel swimmingpool, but I had a direct vue of the nile in all its majesty. I had a continuous flow of majestic hotel boats, but in the morning, I enjoyed the wonderful show of hot-air balloons rising in the horizon across the nile in West Bank of the Valley of Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Moreover, Abu Hisham, the owner, was always there to serve and assist for every detail. Actually, this respected and respectful person is the only address you may need to get anything done in Luxor. The apartment was impeccably clean and fully equipped. I would highly recommend it to all visitors coming to Luxor for short or long stays.

• Andrew (8/5): Experiencing LUXOR was an adventure we're glad we had. - My husband and I are elders. What we love the best about this property is, it was above everything so we could see the Nile river, it was very peaceful. Our host, Abdo and Hermada took good care of us being sure we always had freshwater, authentic Egyptian food, and guides for the temples. It was a unique experience in the Egyptian culture beyond the temples. We felt safe and very welcome. Important to note, everyone always wants your money, and it can get a bit intense. Don't be fooled by the 'story's from the vendor' about how the value is 10 times more than the worth... We felt we could have seen all we wanted to see with the Temples in 5 days not 11. It is not easy for a foreigner, especially elder man and woman to walk alone in the city. A lot of children wanting money and everyone wants to give you a ride... The whole thing is a bit overwhelming. We love the people we met who live in LUXOR. Our Host we're very kind and attentive. We love the mosque that happens through the city 3 or 4 times a day - We love the food... We love the guided tour through the temples - although it can be a lot of information and not enough time to just be and explore on your own - Suggest - get the guide then stay longer on your own. Beware of all the side shopping everyone wants you to do, unless you are prepared to negotiate for a fair price.
• Roshdi (9/5): Enjoyed my stay - The apartment is big, well equipped and clean. The location is wonderful as it's very close to Al Karnak Temple, and at the same time in a local neighborhood, where you get access to anything you need to buy. You can walk from there to the city center and Luxor temple in 15-20 minutes. You don't need any type of transportation to get anywhere around the city. I have nothing to complain about.

• Jane (10/5): Wonderful - We loved our stay here. Our host was so helpful. He was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us our apartment and the rooftop swimming pool. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from a supermarket and ATM and also if you walk the other way you are by the Hilton hotel and the Nile embankment . We decided to eat in but couldn't place the order so our host came up and sorted a taxi to go and collect our food from the restaurant for us. He also sorted the airport transfer for us as well. They also upgraded us at no extra charge because the three bedroom apartment was free for the duration of our stay. The fruit basket and water they supply is thoughtful of them. The views from the apartment looked out over the Nile

• Jijo (10/5): Value for money... - Very spacious apartment near karnak temple. They can arrange luxor tours with reasonable price. Unfortunately , they dont have any card payment facility. But, it's okay. ATM facilities are there nearby.
• Kb (6/5): Good value as long as you are aware of the shortcomings - It was very spacious and took up 2 floors, with a big balcony and a fantastic view of the Nile. A 5 minute walk to the Hilton will get you to a nice restaurant right on the Nile with Western food. Provided coffee, tea, sugar and plenty of bananas and oranges. Responded quickly. It is very local down a side alley; many Westerners would consider it in a bad neighborhood, but I think it was safe. Frequent rooster crowing and donkey braying. Except for the Hilton, all the nearby restaurants have only local food. The listing says an elevator, but the apt is on the 5th floor and you still must take 2 flights of stairs. The wifi didn't work; the host told me that I should go on the balcony but I told him I paid for wifi in the apt; he eventually brought a mobile hotspot but then asked me to pay for it, which I refused to do. The shower water went from hot to cold frequently. There was no heat, but he provided plenty of blankets. Although a dryer was listed, it's just a washer that spins most of the moisture out.
• Tracy (9/5): Superb - Spacious and friendly staff. Convenient and quiet location.. Nothing. The location is tucked away on a side street so make sure you have your driver contact them for directions. The shower temperature was a little tricks but nothing of concern.
• Yan (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is huge and clean, the owner is very nice and helpful, he welcomed us with fruits and water, even when we left too. The owners and managers are reachable and friendly anytime we needed assistance with something. We could see hot air balloons and the west bank on the balcony too.

• Basavaraju (8/5): Go stay in Abo Hisham Nile flat and take full use of connections Mr Taher has in setting up tours. - The host was extremely helpful in setting up our tours and taking care of us. Mr Mohammed Taher went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. When we couldn’t do a proper fellucca ride in Aswan, Mr Taher helped us set up one in Luxor with the time we had. He took care of all our tours in and around Aswan and Luxor and co-ordinated our trips with WA messages.
• Tatsiana (9/5): Superb - The host was very nice and kind, they prepared fruits and water for all of us. 3 rooms with wide beds and view of Nile was good. Old furniture and other facilities are quite worn out but acceptable in comparison to other similar options.

• Veronica (1/5): Dishonest owner - Please do not arrange any tours with this establishment. The owners purposely lied to us and put us on a 7 hour journey through local roads knowing we had young children so that he could make some extra money. He arranged only one driver while knowing two drivers are required to drive on Egyptian highways.

• Linda (10/5): Excellent and very large apartment in a quiet area. - The flat was extremely spacious with never ending bedrooms . It was well equipped with everything you would need including an ironing board ! It was meticulously clean and sparkly and having stayed in many apartments over the years in Egypt this was the cleanest one yet. The view from the balcony was lovely and the area is quiet and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. One of the bedroom doors was in need of a good squirt of WD 40 as it was very loudly squeaking but apart from that the place was perfect.

• Carla (8/5): Very good - The property is very large and very comfortable. We were very happy with it and would stay there again. The owner was very accommodating and friendly as well!! The property is down a side street that doesn’t get much traffic and may make you wonder if you are in the right place.
• Felipe (10/5): Best place to stay in Luxor for couples, families, or groups - Perfect place for a family. Lovely and very spacious flat, rooftop pool with a great view to the Nile, walking distance to several excellent local restaurants and the Karnak temple, plenty of bakeries, green grocers, coffee and shisha houses around. It's a very safe part of town, you can walk around at any time of day or night. Take your time to explore the excellent local restaurants, coffee and shisha houses. Another important thing: Mr Abdo and his cousin, Mr Hamada, are great, and I mean GREAT hosts. They can organise whichever trip and tour you want and they will taylor it according to your needs. Our kids just loved them---and we loved them too! We had a great time in this beautiful property and can't wait to return! It was tough to check out and say goodbye, but we'll be back!

• Athanasios (3/5): The filthiest place I have ever stayed in, nothing, but nothing was clean, everything FILTHY - The size of the apartment was great, but thats it, Not one thing was Cleaning from bedside cabinets floors to kitchen to bathroom. Everything was absolutely covered in dust. Never been cleaned never been wiped over all the windows were streaky and filthy and the bath tub water wouldn't leave because we used to fork to pull out maybe a full cup worth of hair just so we can let the water run because it was not draining, Internet didn't work because he didn't pay for it, so we lost a whole day trying to find him because he couldn't contact you many other way, the television wires and cables were absolutely a jungle nightmare and we had to end up leaving the television on otherwise we would never turn it back on if we turned it off., The dust was absolutely off the scale incredible and filthy, the only thing that was clean and I'm beginning to work out that maybe it wasn't but it's the sheets on our beds and that's it. And the owner who we were just more money in his account - found nothing wrong with the place.
• Mustafaismetcimen (10/5): Exceptional - The owner of the house welcomed us on the street. He was a very polite and good person. The house was very clean and beautiful. It was a great thought and courtesy to have fruit among the treats. I would like to thank the owner of the house very much. I recommend this house to everyone.
• Ying (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is very large and clean. It has everything you need, kitchen, washing machine, large balcony with great view of the Nile! The owners were also kind and help us to book a hot air balloon flight.

The view on the Nile is gorgeous, I had dinner on the terrace with magnificient sunsets and the swimmingpool is great. • Timothy (10/5): Well located, very large clean appartment in Luxor. We very much enjoyed our stay. - Very large, very clean well located flat. Perfect for a family of 5. Huge bedrooms, large kitchen, large living room, end even Nile view from the balcony if you can brave the heat. (Stayed in July). Good location, walking distance to Karnak temple and easy enough to pick up a taxi from the main road for sites further away. Very helpful owner. Arranged pick up from the bus station, and absolute bargain of a hot air ballon flight (low season prices) one morning. Flat was great value for money. Not a lot. Maybe the Aircon in the biggest bedroom could be a little cooler!

• Daniel (9/5): Incredible value, wonderful hosts, highly recommend. - Massive! Three bedrooms, three bathrooms! Air conditioning in every bedroom and the lounge. Washing machine and clothes dryer rack a bonus. Beds very comfy. Plenty of hot water, good shower pressure. Lots of cookware, utensils, plates, glasses etc. Hosts very friendly and helpful, even had air con running in a bedroom when we arrived. Quite a few local shops and a supermarket nearby. The kitchen is in need of a deep clean, particularly the oven and cooktop.

• Shuyang (10/5): The Luxor B&B you don't want to leave - The space was large and clean. Our triple room had three separate bedrooms and bathrooms, each with their own toiletries. The boss was very warm and gave us seasonal fruits when we checked in. The boss is very responsive to all our needs and actively helps us solve all difficulties. When the hot air balloon we had booked was cancelled, we asked our boss for help at around 10pm and the boss helped us find an alternative within 10 minutes. It was all very sweet. On the day of our departure, the boss offered us space to rest and free luggage storage when he learned that we would be leaving Luxor on a night bus and were struggling with luggage storage problems.
