Guest Reviews
- Robin (9/5): Great view just out of town. - We loved the location, the views and size. It’s a rustic property In walking distance to small shops or a 10 min taxi into town. Rodrigo was quick to reply. We used it as a base to visit Copacabana, Ipanema, Foz Do Iguazo. Nothing. Local area is busy in the day with local people travelling here and there, but it’s very safe, we loved it.
- Mitchell (10/5): Idyllic location, spectacular view and a gracious host. - First Rodrigo was very welcoming. He made sure we knew how to get in/out and how to find anything (ie the pool, gym, assistance) we needed in the building before we left. Special shoutout to Douglass at the front desk for helping out with translations with the delivery people. The apartment looks like a scene from a calming YouTube video with the waves crashing outside the giant balcony. There was water, wine, chocolate and coffee welcoming us when we arrived and the vibrant colors reflecting the spirit of Brazil. The area was perfect to access the top tourist towns, but keep us out enough to feel outside of the hustle and bustle. There was a secluded beach a short walk away which provided morning sun without the throngs of vendors you find on more popular tourist beaches. I'd definitely stay here again. There's nothing truly bad to say about the place. If I have to find something trivial to nitpick about, it'd be about the balcony doors in the bedroom not opening, but that didn't bother us at all.
