- Myrna (1/5): The Ultimate Disappointment - ... De ultieme teleurstelling, inderdaad. In januari geboekt en betaald. Alles bevestigd. De dag voor vertrek ontvingen wij eerst netjes de toegangscode, om vervolgens nog geen uur later te horen dat de reservering werd geannuleerd wegens een zogenaamd “noodgeval”. Na doorvragen bleek via Booking.com dat het simpelweg om overboeking ging. Dat is geen noodgeval, dat is slecht management. Gevolg: enkele uren voor vertrek moesten wij hals over kop vervangende accommodatie regelen tegen veel hogere last-minute prijzen. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, was er ook nog een via strictly.com betaalde “non-refundable damage waiver”, terwijl de accommodatie zelf degene was die annuleerde. Alles bij elkaar gaf dit vooral chaos, extra kosten en inderdaad, om mijn dochter te citeren: “for real scam vibes.” Absoluut niet aan te raden.

Smoke detector/fire alarm broken (only half of it there)- I let the host know on my first day, and although they responded very quickly and politely to my message, saying someone would come and fit that day, after 5 days no-one had fixed/fitted it or contacted me about this. Cleanliness not great - hairs on the bedsheets and finger/toe nails on the floor by the bed!

- Aude (4/5): Disappointing - Had received no instructions on how to get inside. Had to call 4 times (they sent a message through booking but the message was instantly blocked because it had a payment link). They then sent the payment link to pay the deposit to my email address only after calling them again. When I finally got inside the room was not made - as in there were dirty sheets and towels, there was trash everywhere, dishes were not done... I had mentioned I would arrive at 4 pm (usual check-in time) but had also not received a reply from the host. The cleaning staff did come quickly and were really nice about it, however because of the delay of over an hour until I could check in after a full day of travelling, I also missed my appointment. Location is quite far away from central London and bus connection not ideal. Host did not offer any sort of compensation. Very disappointed, would not recommend.
- Jackilou (10/5): Exceptional - This spot was exactly what we hoped for. Really modern, super comfy, and had everything we needed.
- Grace (10/5): Highly recommend! - had a cool, modern feel to it, and it was close to everything I wanted to check out. It felt safe, and the host was really accommodating!
- Dupe (6/5): Modern, clean and in nice area. No wifi, no working TV and too much noise from neighbours - The flat was modern and clean and in a nice area. The key system was good. Communication with the host was great, they were quick to respond. There was also no wifi and the TV did not work - I obviously couldn't connect TV to any streaming services due to lack of internet but there were no TV channels on it either. I understand it was listed as having 'no internet', however I think it's a super important amenity for all guests/travellers and if not available, this should be explicitly stated with alternative options in the description. There was too much noise from neighbours - the host received a complaint from the neighbours about noise coming from the flat however I was always by myself and not making any noise at all - I respected all house rules and responsibilities. The linen bedsheets and pillowcases were a bit scratchy.
