- Felix (7/5): - Very conveniently located hostel with friendly staff and a great base to explore Hong Kong from. It was not the cleanest room, and the walls are thin so you may get some noise during the night, but the location more than makes up for it.
- Max Brent (5/5): The first few photos of the room look on here nothing like the room I stayed in. A tiny window too. - The cheap price The room AC smelt very bad, like sweat and stinky feet. We had to keep the AC on though cos the room got so hot. Also there is no mention of the name USA hostel there. It operates at 168 youth hostel or something like that.

Bedsheets and towels no so clean with yellow spots and more things.
Mould in the AC so the air's coming out was horrible.
- Davor Jelacic (10/5): - Perfect location, room is clean, perfect for short stay
- Rodolfo (1/5): - It was literally the worst experience of my life. This is not a hostel, its a bunch of ridiculously tiny rooms sold as a guesthouse in a residential building.
The room had no window, it was so smelly and impossible to breath.
Theres no proper shower, is a douch attached to the sink, with no shower area, so how are u supposed to shower? On top of the toilet?
I strongly dont recommend this place, include I reported them to the platform so they can stop scamming people.
I had paid for my stay, literally arrived and couldnt stay, had to book another decent hotel. So dont fall for this cause its cheap, you might end up paying twice for accommodation cause this place is UNBEARABLE.

- Fabrizio (3/5): Disappointing - nothing I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel.
The rooms are extremely small, even for Hong Kong standards. There is barely any space to move or store luggage comfortably. On top of that, the bathroom is poorly designed: there is no separation at all between the shower and the toilet, so everything gets wet after a shower, which is very inconvenient and uncomfortable.
However, the worst part of my stay was the abusive and excessive extra charges. I was charged 300 Hong Kong dollars for losing the key card, which is completely unreasonable. What makes it even worse is that everything seems to have an additional, exaggerated fee: if you stain the bedsheet, if you lose the card, or if anything slightly out of the ordinary happens, there is always an expensive charge attached.
It feels less like hospitality and more like a constant attempt to penalize guests. I would not recommend this hostel unless you are prepared for very strict rules and disproportionate fees.
- Siti (7/5): Good choice for basic accommodation needs. Worth to stay due to its strategic location - Location is very strategic in Kowloon. Close to MTR station, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Value for money. Rooms are small, no reception outside workhours.

- Jeremy (9/5): - The perfect location in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui made it very convenient. My room had a beautiful view over Nathan Road and Victoria Harbour, which is unbeatable for such an affordable price. The room was clean and had many shelves to store clothes and other items, it was also big enough to comfortably accommodate me. Staff were always very friendly and helpful, overall I enjoyed my stay very much. The smell of the bathroom (coming from the drain) was unpleasant, however this is not the hostels fault as the the mirador mansion itself is quite old.

- Vincent (1/5): - The windows were leaking.

- JOLANTA (8/5): - Idealna lokalizacja. Możliwość zostawienia bagażu przed lub po wymeldowaniu. Cena adekwatna do warunków. Winda do hostelu zabiera mało osób i długo trzeba na nią czekać.
- Inese (9/5): -
- Limbu (3/5): - The room had no proper ventilation and felt suffocating. It was not as advertised in the photos, which was very disappointing. Management should clearly categorize the different room types and provide accurate photos and pricing for each option. This transparency would help customers make informed decisions and avoid unpleasant surprises.
- Luciana (8/5): Great value for the location and price - Perfect spot for a stay in central Hong Kong. My room was very small but functional, though it could use some touch-ups compared to the photos online. The bathroom was extremely compact, but the shower worked perfectly. Overall, great value for the location and price. The hostel is located in a 13-floor building filled with other hostels and accommodations, and the elevator only fits a few people at a time, so getting in and out can take a bit of patience.
Alcuni scarafaggi in camera nascosti nelle tende.

- Lowe (3/5): Terrible noise from the plumbing, AVOID. - Great location Being kept up till 1am by very noisy plumbing.
Before I booked I read someone else's comments about this issue, but dismissed it, what a mistake. It is probably just a noisy valve and simple to repair, but clearly the management don't care. If you plan to get some sleep in your room, book somewhere else.

- Marjorie (8/5): The place is nice and very accessible to everything. The price is decent if you’re not too picky. - I liked the location because it’s close to the MTR. It’s near restaurants, shops, and within walking distance of tourist attractions. It would be better if the toilet looked cleaner.
- Caryll (10/5): Perfect! - Our stay here was perfect! The lifts were never crowded, and the room was surprisingly spacious—much bigger than the ones we stayed in at the other mansion. It was my birthday during our visit, and they upgraded our room, which made the experience even more special.
The room had two large glass windows, making it incredibly relaxing. I especially loved enjoying a cup of coffee while looking at the beautiful view of Tsim Sha Tsui. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful stay—see you again soon! None
- Martin (3/5): You get what you pay for. - Good price. To be honest the you get what you pay for. It is also in a very central location in Hong Kong. Easily walkable to the tsim sha tsui pier and mong Kok Poor hygiene, bad smells from toilet, bed was not clean, air conditioning didn't work, insects in the room.
- Rubeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alistair (10/5): Excellent value for money and a great location! - I loved this place! I had a couples room and it even had a street view. Nice location in Kowloon. The overall building was a bit basic but the manager was friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was a little small.
- Daphne (8/5): Very good -
- Johannes (8/5): Very good - Best value for your money you can get in Hong Kong. Perfect location. For the price, there is nothing to complain.
- Ricardo (7/5): Good - Small hostel room to spend a few nights and travel around. Well connected by subway to the rest of Hong Kong
- João (5/5): Passable -
- Jessica (5/5): Passable -
- Thianrapat (10/5): Exceptional - Great
- Ferda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Iva (9/5): Superb - Everything was good. A small space for spending the night, but the location is exceptional and comfortable, next to buses and the metro, allowing to travel anywhere in the country.
- Lucian (2/5): Roach infested nightmare! - The single and double rooms are windowless, you will find out after the reservation. We paid for an upgrade for a room with a window (4 persons), which they said was much bigger than the one without, but it was still very small. The room was incredibly dirty - dust and dirt on the floor and countertops, filthy windows you could barely see through, stained sheets on the bed, smelly towels…The furniture was old and broken from place to place. There were almost no deposit spaces in the room. The bathroom had no delimited shower place, it was just a shower head mounted between the sink and the toilet. A sewer smell lingered in the room throughout our stay regardless of how much we aired the room. But by far the worst part was the cockroach infestation. There were improvised roach traps everywhere - on the hallways, in the corners of the room, under the beds, on the windowsills…roaches were running around the entire place, some of them got into our luggage so we had to take everything out and clean everything in order to not take them with us to the next hotel. And we still found 4 ones in our luggage when we unpacked the next time! Just an overall awful place, do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Pay more and stay somewhere else.
- April (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (7/5): Good accommodation for the price. - Great place If you come with a budget. The room was bigger than the previous one that we stayed in. The check in is easy and they help you with everything.
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Free bed upgrade and allow late checkout
- Susan (10/5): It was good to stay staff accomodating - They are accomodating
- Louis (10/5): Exceptional - For tall people keep in mind that the beds are merely 80 centimeters wide. Otherwise it was a good stay Small beds
- Danil (8/5): Very good - Great value for money, it was easy to check in and place is close to subway and ferry point, could reach anywhere It was quiet noisy and i could here every sound my neighbors made. The room was really small but i think enough for just sleeping.
- Beverly (10/5): Great value for money - Location is superb Nothing
- Roselyn (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean. Friendly staff's. Close to Mtr and bus stations. Budget friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend it to others.
- Ralph (7/5): Good -
- Shalom24 (10/5): Exceptional - Very good
- Kateryna (9/5): Superb -
- Asiem (8/5): Very good -
- Josefa (10/5): Highly recommended place to stay when you’re in Hong Kong. - Very accessible, very accommodating staffs. They provided the things we need. None.
- Robilyn (8/5): its a good stay for a tourist who just need a place to take a rest. - its value for money and location the elevator, need to wait.
- Noreen (8/5): Good for sleeping. Good for solo traveler. The room is very small. Only good for 1 luggage - 1 minute walk from the MTR STATION So small . I chose double room and the picture of the room was bigger but when the staff found out it was just me, they gave me so small.
- Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional - Very good! really recommended and very considerate.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Limbu (7/5): Good -
- Shawna (8/5): It was good overall. Great for a layover and it is very close to Avenue of stars. - Very close to the major activities. Good location. The room could be cleaned a little more.
- Andras (7/5): Simple budget accomodation of correct price/performance ratio - Those who come into contact with these accommodations in one of the most advantageous locations in Hong Kong for the first time will certainly be surprised by the special environment and character of the accommodations. If this is not your first time here, you already know what you get for your money, you know that the pictures are more like photo artworks and do not reflect the actual conditions, and the rooms are significantly smaller than they appear from the pictures.
As we were only looking for accommodation to sleep in, knowing the above, we were not shocked by this: the beds were just the right size, the linens were clean, the bathroom was fine, the water heater and the shower worked and did not overflow the sink and toilet. Everything was as described, although the TV was arranged under the bed but was not missing. The air conditioning worked but was not needed now. Everything you need to know is signed in the right places. WiFi worked well.
Fauna: One ant and one cockroach appeared during our stay, rest in peace.
Several people complain about the elevators. You have to know the organization of the elevators, know which elevator serves which floor, and then there is no problem.
The staff is very professional and helpful, special thanks Vicky for her kindness.
Summarized: We got what we expected and would book accommodation here again on our next visit. The quality of the room could be improved significantly by more - simple - maintenance and repair of the items (e.g. bathroom bulb) in the room.
- Hays (1/5): Just nope. - We love staying in hostels when we travel - we appreciate simple, inexpensive accommodations. This hostel, however, was dingy at best and could not accommodate my husband. My husband is a big guy at 6'2 and 250 lbs and literally did not fit in the bathroom, to which the metal door would only close (LOUDLY) with a shoulder and full body weight against it. The hostel was on the 13th floor. The elevators to get there had weight restrictions so it took my husband 20 minutes to even get up to the hostel due to the buzzer going off each time he got on. It was clear that he could not stay there so we requested a refund. It was denied. Overall this hostel is a far cry from the tidy, modest but comfortable hostels we've enjoyed other places.
- Khurram (1/5): Never stay - Nothing……hopeless environment and room size was very small….please don’t stay there Small sized rooms with poor facilities
