- Kim (10/5): Cottage in the heart of Bendigo - We could walk everywhere, comfy beds, very quiet, great art Couldn't work out if the heater in the living room worked
- Anonymous (8/5): Charming comfortable cottage, great place to stay. - Character of the neatly renovated cottage set the stage for an excellent weekend. Cold when we entered.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - The house was warm, welcoming and beautifully styled. The location was perfect for a short and interesting walk into the CBD. Off street parking. The beds are so comfortable. The loud screaming kids outside at 2.00am that knocked on our front door four times with intervals. It disturbed our sleep and dreams.
- Marion (9/5): WE LOVED THIS COTTAGE, CLEAN SECURE AND AN EASY WALK TO TOWN 9/10 3 SENIOR LADIES FROM MELBOURNE - N/A ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Des (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location Everything was wonderful except the bedroom on a he right hand side as you enter the property the overhead fan does not work.
- Nadia (10/5): Fantastic - Such a beautiful cottage, very clean and modern inside. Beds were so comfortable and location was perfect, we didn’t catch the tram which stopped close by, we walked everywhere.
Will definitely came back. There was nothing to not like
- Michael (10/5): An excellent stay for a weekend getaway - The property is fairly close to the cbd meaning we didn’t have to use the car that much. Although close to the cbd it was quiet with little external noise.
The front and back yards were secure for our border collie. The property had all the conveniences needed for a weekend stay (or longer if needed). Had a couple of cold nights but the heating in the living area was fantastic. Split systems in bedrooms too but not required. Beds were super comfortable with extra bedding if needed. The place was spotless and by reading other reviews you could see why people stay multiple times .

- Rosslyn (10/5): Definitely a 10 out of 10 property - Spotlessly clean. Everything immaculate. Beautifully renovated so that it was modern but still maintained the heritage characteristics.
Warm and cosy when the weather was cold. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Everything was great

- Renee (10/5): ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS - 2nd time we have stayed here, absolutely love this house. Everything you need is supplied, super close to shops and restaurants. We will try to stay here 1st choice every time we visit Bendigo.
- Rob (10/5): A very charming place to stay with your puppies! - Great location and ideal for us with 2 mini poodles, they loved the side yard and the back verandah area.
An easy 10min stroll to cafes, pub and parks. 15 min to the heart of Bendigo, the location is hard to beat!
Well appointed kitchen and good sized bedrooms. Fab deep bath to laze away in!!
- Judy (9/5): Great stay in Bendigo! - I was very happy with the Heritage Cottage in the heart of Bendigo, it was everything I had hoped for & very clean. The beds were comfortable, the living area was great, spacious & tastefully decorated. A dishwasher & laundry were provided for our use. Off-street parking was provided for two cars & parking was also available in the street. Being in the centre of town, nothing was too far away. We were a group of five adults & there was only one toilet in the main bathroom. Also the only mirror in the house was in the bathroom. There was no milk provided.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house, clean, well maintained, great location, handy info available for guests.
- Dee (10/5): An oasis in the heart of the city! - The cottage was a small oasis at the end of a 4 week work trip where we drove from Melbourne to Adelaide to Mildura, Wagga Wagga, Shepparton and finally Bendigo! Our hotel booking screwed up and we found this cottage at the 11th hour - Sue was a fantastic and responsive host! We couldn’t have asked for a better ending place! Nothing at all to add here!
- Catherine (7/5): It was good overall. More mirrors would be good. - The Tim tams in the fridge The bins hadn’t been emptied
- Lara (9/5): Superb -
- Laurel (9/5): We had a wonderful summer au and are going to spend more money one in Bendigo next year. - The house was charming. The facilities were very good. We were able to take our dog for a holiday. The house was centrally located. The only problem was that we couldn’t let cl the wire door so we couldn’t leave the front door open for some breeze.
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Pannam4 (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable and neat and clean. Near to everything. Easy to walk to shops.Off street parking was great. Easy to dealings with the owner. Can here some traffic noise from the front bedroom.
- Dave (9/5): Nice and convenient place to stay. Def recommend. - Clean and modern.
Very organised with Milk and water supplied.
A nice place to stay. A bit noisy in the morning but that is the location, not the house. We had rubbish collection day.
- Gp (10/5): Outstanding accommodation with a touch of history - The outside appearance, etc was fabulous; rooms, beds, layout and the overall feel of the cottage was exceptional; facilities and provisions of towels, milk etc was wonderful; we were all very very pleased with our stay in this cootage. not a single thing, all was above expectations
- Cliff (8/5): Enjoyable stay great company - Modern and clean
Comfortable beds
Loads of parking Just suggestions needed some more mirrors. One bathroom 4 women
- Sophie (10/5): We loved it! A perfect cottage for a short stay in Bendigo. - Fantastic location. Short walk to centre of Bendigo and art gallery etc. Cottage was just lovely - cosy but plenty of space for 3 of us and a perfect mix of character and modern conveniences. Spotlessly clean with super comfy beds and a magnificent bath tub! The only thing was the dim bedside lights (in main bedroom) which made it hard to read in bed.
- Henryk (10/5): it is a heritage cottage with its charm outside but inside some great modern up dates - no meals included but there was milk, large bottled spring water, tea, coffee nothing it was a great place to stay at and would book again
- Vito (10/5): Very good - The location No lighting in the backyard
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Accomodation was great comfortable and clean great location
- Corina (10/5): A good found - It's very clean, looks tidy and enjoyable to stay in, close to everywhere around
- Geoff (9/5): Brilliant Bendigo Cottage - The host was friendly and thoughtful. The information pack was well presented and instructional. The place was welcoming, clean and comfortable which is such a treat when travelling. Great location to the city itself and it was easy to find. The step down from the kitchen to the laundry.
More as a warning to those who have mobility/ vision issues. At first glance it might be a little bit hard to see as both floors look as one.
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional - Great little place to stay , very homely and comfortable with a lot of character 😀 👍 Bit of road noise though to be expected as close to main shopping district.
- Ross (10/5): Wonderful host- excellent property we loved it ! -
- Bronya (10/5): Exceptional - Immaculate condition, beautifully renovated house. Plenty of room for two adults sharing the accommodation (not a couple). Location is close to the city. Beds are very comfortable, couldn't ask for me. I will definitely stay again.
