• Jennifer (9/5): Great, easy place to stay in Fremantle, and will definitely be back! - Property was really well located and it was easy to get to the train station and other key spots in Fremantle. The apartment was the perfect size and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with appliances, cutlery pots and pans etc so it really was a little home away from home.
• Kevin (5/5): - Comfortable bed. Good selection of bed linen. No free to air TV. Limited apps. Streaming not working properly. Finding access to parking quite confusing. Building is old and run down. Ovepriced

• Diana (8/5): The fact that this apartment has off-street parking is a huge plus. - The apartment is close to the ferry terminal, railway station, also Coles and IGA in the beautiful older part of Fremantle. Excellent communication from hosts. The apartment has a lift and is quite old but it is still serviceable.

• Brent (9/5): Close to all the Freo ammenities. Clean and comfortable unit. Comfortable bed. - Proximity to the town services. Secure access. The out door walkway to the unit could a bit daunting for those who have a phobia for heights.
• Padi (8/5): Affordable and great location but finances were atrocious - I liked the location and that it was fully furnished with great kitchen utensils. The lifts worked well and there was plenty of good parking. The gates were bluetooth controlled and it was easy to get in and out. The location meant that we could go out to most places and buy food etc easily. Also had access to STAN TV so I could watch Super Rugby. This issue is not your responsibility but unfortunately I had very big problems with paying you. I wanted to use a two special salary sacrificed credit cards. However you could only take ONE card which was frustrating. Then when I went through Smart Stay WA they accepted two cards BUT their Merchant Category was wrong so I couldnt use the cards. SO we had to use our normal card - WBC. Unfortunately they decided I needed to change my password and after 3 attempts I finally got the access to pay. This process took nearly 3 hours

• Ms (5/5): Dissapointed and not gonna stay here again, we’re not happy in our room but we relish and elated to see the freo around. - Amenities,room was tidy and everything i need is there. When i arrived 3pm check in time, the room is not tidy and messy around. I call someone and told me they refund me for half of the day but it didn’t went through. The room was quite small, noisy crazy neighbors asking for money and sometimes when the weather is bad then expect that your room would be the same banging cause the window is open for the air-con as well as the electric fan in the room, not so much space for the toilet. Highly disappointed if you have guest they give you one key only, every time you let them in you need to go down again.

• Susan (1/5): Anonymous - The apartment was much older than it appeared online. We experienced a major issue late on our 1st night, at approximately 10.00pm which was UNHYGIENIC and totally unacceptable. There was a WASTE WATER pipe below the ceiling in the shower, which was LEAKING water from the apartment above into our shower recess. As there was only a shower curtain this waste water was also hitting the floor tiles outside the recess making the floor extremely slippery and dangerous to walk on when we needed to use the toilet and hand basin. We were unable to call anyone to help us and had to wait until the next morning when we called SmartStayWA. They were not at all helpful and we had NO option but to leave the apartment due to the unsanitary conditions of the bathroom. We also spoke with the Maintenance Manager of the entire apartment complex who was unable to help us, due to the apartment being sublet for short term holiday accommodation. We were booked for 4 nights. This totally disrupted our holiday and we had to rearrange our plans for the day and spend our morning making alternative accommodation arrangements. The staff member at the T ourist Information Centre we spoke to was very friendly and extremely helpful and informative. She also said that we could leave our luggage there until we could access our new accommodation later in the day. Booking.Com were very helpful and refunded our payment for the remainder of the booking within a couple of days when we lodged our complaint. 1: When we checked in and gained access to the apartment we were unable to log in to the television. My husband rang several times to ask for assistance, we were promised that someone would come within 2-3 hours to assess the problem and fix it. This person never came and the issue was not resolved. We rang and complained but received no response. 2: We are still in dispute with SmartStayWA who refuse to recompensate us the following fees: $156.60 nightly. $110.00 cleaning. $23.80 service. Totalling $290.40 Apparently SmartStayWA feel justified in retaining our money because we had NO option but to sleep there for that night. Judging by the dirty marks on the Waste Water pipe this was NOT the 1st occurrence. Fortunately I took a video and still have it. We left the apartment as clean and tidy, apart from not making the bed, as when we checked in. The entire experience was extremely upsetting and totally unacceptable.

• Steve (5/5): Unit is well located but I think price for a three night stay without any service seemed high - Well located. Secure Bathroom basin was too narrow in bathroom. Very difficult to brush teeth and shave given its proximity to the vanity. Shower head would not stay up which was frustrating. Shower curtain was not long enough with water going out over the floor. No way of blocking out light from bedroom window. Promoted with a balcony but was not really usable. Air-conditioning unit in lounge meant balcony door could not be closed. I think for the price I expected more.

• Lisa (5/5): Won’t be recommending - The location There was only a portable a/c that u had to stand right next to, to feel cool and it was 40 all weekend. No a/c in the bedroom, only a portable fan that wasn’t that powerful. Block out blind was on top of the cupboard. And being on the 6th floor, it was very bright very early. The shower head wouldn’t stay on the wall and had to be held while showering Had to empty bins, do dishes etc. Only found this out AFTER paying. Didn’t expect to have to do that for the price per night Deposit was More than a nights accommodation. The remote/gate for parking was broken and didn’t open gate 3 which is the one we needed.

Requiring the remote to move the car from the property car park before 10.00am then come back to the property to deposit the keys, there wasn’t any available parking close by outside the property

Nice cafe around the corner. The small bed. The key pick up was a bit confusing, suggestion to explain to people how it works to open gate more clearly. Someone staying there helped us.

• Philip (9/5): Perfect location and ammenitities for a short stay after a long flight - Location idea for all Fremantle attractions, everything is 10 - 15 minutes walk away. Accommodation was idea for a short break having just arrived from UK. Balcony is closed in and not really much benefit.
