• Fleur (10/5): Super location, easy to check in and communication with host was so friendly. I would recommend especially for families - It was super close to the train stations- convenience store and a small grocery. Apartment was spacious and the hot bath was very modern with regulated water temperature. Washer and dryer was great and everything was supplied for laundry. Kitchen was great with full size fridge- everything needed. Bed comfortable and table and chairs handy. We didn’t take any photos sorry! Nil

• dorthe (9/5): Great location - Great location, perfect for exploring Tokyo. Very cosy place, ideal for a place to put your head down after a long day out and about. It suited the four of us perfect as we where out every day (3 nights stay) but if you wish to cook your own meals and spend a lot of time at the apparemment, this might not be for you as there is no soft seating and very limited crockery. Parking is very expensive around this area

• Alexa (10/5): Would recommend - It’s spacious and comfortable! The host provided so much and location was great. Front room is a bit noisy. You can hear people right by the window, vehicles honking, ambulances. No complaints for the back room.

All in all, great value and truly recommend A bit noisy at night, might be the collection of the garbage? Also, you cannot open the windows if you want to avoid mice coming in. But this was not an issue for us

• brunori (10/5): Assolutamente perfetto - Tutto. Posizione fantastica a cinque minuti da Ugusuidani sulla jr si arriva perfettamente in tutta Tokyo. L’appartamento e’ grande le camere sono spaziose, la doccia e spaziosa. Prezioso anche la possibilità di utilizzare lavatrice e asciugatrice. Non abbiamo mai cucinato perché uscivamo sempre al mattino presto e rientravamo tardi ma volendo c’è anche una cucina attrezzata. Assolutamente consigliato per famiglie di 4 persone come la nostra. Staff reattivo è disponibile. Super apprezzata la possibilità di un check in anticipato. La zona è’ molto tranquilla. Lo consigliamo. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Not many bars or restaurants in the immediate area, but again it was easy to get to the train or walk down to Ueno Station area. Such a small thing but - no outlet on the bed side of the room.

• Junaid (10/5): Cozy, comfortable and amazing - The property is amazing. The host is very welcoming. One thing to highlight is the toilet was bigger compare to other hotels we stayed. Overall i have to say the host let us keep our luggage until our departure but outside the yard. We did not have to spend any money on coin lockers. Really nothing.

We stayed for 4 nights and we were easily able to get to Uguisudani Station in less than 10 min. Bathroom set up was very clean. Easy check in and check out. Staff was very communicative and helped us quickly with any issues. None

• Nils (10/5): Fantastic Experience! - Very clean, great flat, great location, good communication. Ideal place for a Tokyo visit with a small family. Baby cot was provided. Multiple public transport links, grocery stores, and restaurants in immediate walking distance. 100% recommended! All great. Nothing we didn't like :) Just an FYI for families: in case you get flat 201, there are rather steep stairs. We had not much luggage and kept the stroller downstairs, so no problem for us. Something to be aware of, though.
• Daniela (10/5): Consigliatissimo - Ottima soluzione, comodissima la posizione a pochi passi dalla metro Iriya ben collegata sulla linea H per Ueno e il centro. Appartamento spazioso e pulito, dotato di ogni comfort. Nonostante al piano terra non ci siano finestre non si percepisce perché l’ambiente rimane spazioso. I letti sono molto comodi, così come la presenza di una lava asciuga. L’appartamento si trova in una via non trafficata e molto tranquilla, quindi risulta silenzioso. Possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento nelle vicinanze. Il quartiere offre tutto a livello di servizi, combini, supermercati e ristoranti. Decisamente un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo Il proprietario nonostante il check-in e out in autonomia è sempre veloce e disponibile nelle risposte via messaggio.

Great for a small family due to its good size. - Easy access to Ueno station and convenience stores as well as eateries (although a bit hard to find), very modern and well decorated, loved the washer and drier in one (really convenient) as well as the two separate sleeping areas. We would definitely stay here again. The first bed was a bit lumpy and not as comfortable as the second one. Pillows were a bit chunky to our liking.
• Jejula (8/5): Very good - The location was good, it is located near the Uguisudani station. You can walk around 5-6 minutes. The room was cleaned and well prepared. It was a good experience to stay at Ueno Park Asakusa Temple Ueno Family Inn! The doorway was a little bit small. If you stay at first floor, there will be a chance of noises from the second floor.
• Wang (9/5): Great place to stay for families - Very clean. big spacious rooms. Good location close to several train stations. Convenient access to UENO Park with many attractions for families. No windows and natural light, but it was manageable as we spend most of our time outdoors
• Gen (10/5): Exceptional - This was a great place to stay, large by Japan standards and had so many amenities. We were able to have a separate room for our daughter and we had requested a cot which was there when we arrived plus they also put a highchair in the apartment too which was a nice surprise. The location is great, it wasn't too busy but so close to 2 different train lines and heaps of food options nearby. The area felt less touristy but we liked it that way. Unfortunately one of the beds was a bit uncomfortable (just a hard mattress). And we weren't aware that there would be a very steep staircase to enter the property (we were in the upstairs apartment), it would be good if this was mentioned in the property details, we had a toddler with us who is confident with stairs and very safe but the stairs even made me nervous!
• Marilette (8/5): Very good - Proximity to 2 train lines and convenience stores. Answer promptly to inquiries. They had other guests in other rooms who weren't mindful to keep the noise down. I woke up hearing them walk around their area. I also wish they had a drying rack for clothes.

• Yuk (9/5): Nice 2 bedroom apartment near Ueno station - Spacious 2-bedroom apartment within walking distance to Ueno station or nearby metro. Ideal for travelling to and from Narita airport with Keisei express. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, this apartment offers good value for money for small family or 2 couples travelling together!
• Martin (9/5): Comfortable, spacious, and convenient to subway and surface trains. - Separate bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (except paper towels, which seem to be rare in Japan). The automatic lights are EXTREMELY annoying. You have to wave your arms every 15 seconds (and sometimes that doesn't even work and you're left brushing your teeth in pitch black).

• Maddy (7/5): Incredibly convinient, cozy and well-kept. - The location was excellent. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to eat at, and many konbini's around for snacks. It was very close to the train station and we had no issues getting around Tokyo. The place itself is very cozy and it was very clean. The bed in the smaller room was quite uncomfortable. There was no padding and was very hard which made it unconfortable to sleep on. The airconditioners in the house were also quite temperamental, but this may be because the remote was in Japanese.

Situated in a quiet side street but walking distance to convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants and public transport. Hosts responded in a timely fashion. Lack of laundry drying facilities for a family with young children. The washer/dryer provided is small capacity and took a long time to finish a cycle which created noise later into the evening.

It was an easy walk to public transport as well as so much food and shopping. This was our favourite accommodation of the trip The only small negative was the stairs at the entry. Steep but fine and we weren't coming and going too much that it bothered anyone and everything once you were in was on one level.
• Matt (3/5): It was an experience. - The property is close to several train stations, it has 2 bedrooms and is quite spacious for a Tokyo apartment. As mentioned in previous reviews there is a rat in this apartment. The first night we stayed I woke up after feeling some animal/claw like things on my arm and cheek. Thought maybe I was dreaming given it was a big day of travelling, however I was woken up again that night by a scratching noise coming from in the apartment. The next night I was awoken by the same scratching noise coming from the kitchen, I went to check it out and saw the rat with my own eyes, confirming the first night the rat was actually on me, a completely horrifying experience! I would not recommend staying here until the owner fixes the rodent problem.
• Julianne (7/5): It is good for family and location is good- near the train station and has quite a few paid car parking nearby if you re - It is big enough for our family of four. Well equipped kitchen; comfortable beds. Good communication. Easy check in. The air conditioning of the main bedroom is very noisy we couldn’t keep it on night time, so the room was very hot; There was rat poo on the kitchen bench when we arrived.
• Desmond (6/5): Pleasant - The location was excellent This property is not an inn, it is an airbnb - this should be made clear. The guests are responsible for throwing the weekly garbage - this was not made clear to us until the day; unfortunately we were already out. Communication was difficult as the owners only speak Chinese - you may need to use Google translate. While in general the property was ok we noticed one of the ac units leaked in one of the bedrooms. The property also does not have any usable windows.

• Seow (8/5): A really fantastic area to stay as compared to places like Asakusa, Shibuya tat i hv stay many times - Location is excellent!! It is super convenient to travel anywhere in Tokyo via JR Yamanote Line @ Uguisudani station; few minutes walk from the house. One stop Nguisudani Station -> Nippori Station whereby you can take Skyliner to Narita Airport. Family mart, local super mart and 7-eleven are all round the vicinity. McDonald and Donki within walking distance. Miss Lim's house is very neat and nice, very welcoming and warm, comfortable for 4-5 adults. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Remember to book early if you intend to stay in Ueno area. Miss Lim's apartment is usually fully booked. Trash clearing could be improved; very messy to leave trash outside the house as they will be collected only twice a week. Washing machine drying system is not fantastic. Only semi-dry effect, no good for jeans. Saw rats outside the house twice :(
• Shamit (1/5): Bad - Property owners aren't responsive. They remain unreachable and lay their problems onto residents to charge more amount. I would suggest avoiding this property to have stay worry free stay. We were unreasonably charged extra.
• Emiko (9/5): Overall, we were very pleased and would stay here again. - Loved the bathroom! The location was very convenient. Really appreciated the umbrellas as it rained all day the day after we arrived. Three adults stayed in the unit. It would have been nice to have an extra pair of adult-sized indoor slippers rather than the two adult and 2 child-sized slippers. Also, an additional dining chair would be nice instead of having to use the stools. And lastly, washcloths and dish towels would also be nice. A leak appeared in the ceiling of the bedroom adjacent to the kitchen the third day we were there.

Property managers extremely helpful in contacting and booking restaurants for us ahead of our arrival in Japan. Other hotels we were staying at would not assist. Responses to messages always very prompt. Additional hanging space inside would be beneficial

• Ashutosh (9/5): Superb - Good property. Sufficient space. Clean. Quite. Slight walk to the station. Everything was good except for staff interaction. There was no communicaton from property earlier or at arrival about code to access room. Had to call them. Staff was very curt and in a hurry to disconnect. Never heard a word from them throughout the stay to check about anything. Need some hooks for hanging stuff. Also no place to dry clothes inside when it is reaining outside. Since they have a kitchen, they shoudl keep at least salt, sugar & oil in stock.
