Guest Reviews
- yang (9/5): -
- Sheena (4/5): Never again - Location only The disruptional people that live there, rude and disrespectful
- Jacqui (6/5): Served the purpose in providing overnight accommodation while visiting friends. - Good sized room, comfortable bed and shower OK. Air conditioning effective for heating up the room On arrival not much of a greeting, just handed over the key. Room was absolutely freezing, had to put air con on to warm it up and then again first thing in the morning. The whole place looked a bit run down and could not quite make out what sort of hotel it was trying to be. It really needed some TLC.
- Yvonne (7/5): -
- Michelle (6/5): - We booked a room with two queen beds and a spa and they checked us in to a room with two double beds. They gave us another room with a spa that didn't work
- Emily (6/5): -
- Mayne (8/5): -
- Douglas (7/5): -
- Stuart (5/5): Served the purpose for an overnight stay. People yelling well into the night after 10pm onwards not great. - Location Noise at night from permanent residents
- catlin (5/5): - Ease of access. There was a dispute with the permanent residents. I wouldn’t have stayed at a place that had permanent residents
- Jacob (1/5): -
- Chantelle (7/5): - I like the location, it is near a main road, however, couldn't hear the road and it is very peaceful during the night.. The Staff were kind, the Beds were comfortable. Look - The place has A LOT of potential, the property does need a really good clean up, repairs a lot of work, however, understandable it is old and will cost a lot of money, but it does need to be done sooner rather than later. I work in this profession and it looks to me (my assumptions) by how the rooms are cleaned/managed the staff might lack in hospitality training.
But it is a basic stay, good value, just has a lot of work needed done.
- Susie (5/5): - Needs to be updated
- Jason (1/5): -
- Vicky (5/5): - Not much Very old and dated
- Kevin (8/5): - How the manager unruly persons whilst trying to make his business work
- yang (9/5): -
- Ashlee (9/5): - I loved the area the hotel was in, the bathroom was really nice . The smart glass made my day The bed was very hard to sleep on
- Jennifer (9/5): - Spacious rooms
- Marcia (6/5): -
- Monique (2/5): It was okay. - It was close to the location of our event. The walls were thin so you could hear all conversations. The pictures make it look nicer than the actual room. It had a peculiar smell and it wasn’t overly clean. There was a hot tub in the corner of the bedroom which wasn’t clean.
I would have preferred to drive home than stay here again.
- Perry (5/5): Very basic the smell of smoke was discussing - Location Room smelled of smoking
- Manisha (1/5): worst experience of my life - NOTHING Where to begin… filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE!! It is a bio hazard! It’s dusty and the sheets are stained. They also rent out more than half of the rooms to ex prisoners and homeless. I would appreciate knowing this PRIOR to booking the room. IT IS NOT SAFE!!! Cars are driving in and out and unhinged people are walking around and shouting at all times.
- Adrian (5/5): -
- Rosetta (8/5): Too steep for safety especially when wet. Also no pans or dishes provided to cook anything on eithe - No breakfast included Very steep walk to room
- Cortnee (7/5): Okay - Easy to get to Out dated, dirty
- pubudu (7/5): - Location Room
- REVELL (8/5): Great room - Beautful rooms absoloutly loved them. Perfect accomadation. Rooms not very clean. Rubbish under bed from other people and noodles from last person on floor. No pots and pans so couldnt cook anything. No plates. Considering room was booked for 4 people ony given 2 cups and 2 small coffee cup plates, used dishwashing liquid sachet on bench.
But given this i would stay again
- Doug (4/5): -
- Denise (3/5): Not very enjoyable and just canceled my booking for next week - There was a very strong smell in the room like some kind of incense that took 2days to dissipate. There were some noisey guests with a lot of swearing going on , someone had a large dog that lunged at my husband, although it did say no dogs . Also no room service for breakfast.
- Ross (8/5): -
- Khatija (3/5): - It doesn’t look how it looks on the pictures
The couches were very uncomfortable There was network to the tv and someone kept trying to walk in without knocking
- Debbie (7/5): -
- Denis (7/5): Fit for our one night needs. - Good value and clean A bit tired
- Jessica (6/5): - Nice location, comfy bed, huge spa bath. Fairly perfunctory staff. Was greeted upon checking in by a ‘yeah?’ Shower was pretty terrible and taps leaked so had to shut bathroom door to sleep.
- Murray (4/5): - The location The bed was hard and the whole place needs an upgrade and the tv in the room didn't work n the air-conditioning didn't work properly
- Nicole (7/5): -
- TJAART (10/5): -
- Schatz (9/5): -
- Johansson (10/5): - We loved our room. Bed comfy and room spacious and clean. Happy customers. 😉 N/A
- Prue Porter (5/5): - Shower was hot, bed was comfortable. Room Ok very dated & had a strange smell, very run down.
- Amanda (3/5): Definitely does not reflect off the photos on booking.com - The location was easy to find. Cracked tiles in the bathroom that moved under foot.
The kitchenette was definitely not as pictured, just a fridge and microwave no designated table and chairs for eating as described.
The room had taped up picture frames around images on the wall.
- Mitchell (1/5): Crap - Rooms were not as described on Booking.com. Meant to be two double beds but only 1 queen. Staff were no help at all. Rooms were filthy and heard other guests complaining about cleanliness as well. Eg blood on sheets. Could not get out of there quick enough Everything!
- karenne (2/5): Very disappointing - Good size No Hot Water
No room service
i.e. No fresh towels - No bed made up - No cleaning of room (empty of bins etc)
- Paul (2/5): - Nothing Dirty, well over priced, run down property
- Razzor (10/5): Over all was very happy with my stay & ade to feel welcomed - Bed was very comfortable easy to get in & out of
Could of been some bowls in the cupboard for breakfast
Also a frypan The lighting in the bathroom was flicking on & of
No cleaning liquid for doing dishes
- yang (9/5): -
- Anke (7/5): -
- Barbara (8/5): - The property was quiet, clean and spacious
- Tara (3/5): No effort put in to upkeep property - Bed was comfortable. Shower head was big and good pressure. No room service. Stained carpet. No hair dryer in bathroom. WiFi was not connected to internet so was useless. The hotel could be truly wonderful but given it's the only hotel in the area and walking distance to the only wedding venue in the area, I don't think the owners care to put effort in because it could be Schitts Creek hotel and people would still stay there based purely on location. The room I booked was a deluxe with a king bed. I arrived to a room with twin beds. My nephew booked the same room and had the same thing happen to him. I was able to have my room changed but he was told "what do you want me to do about it?" by the property owner. Really poor service. Don't advertise rooms that aren't available. Also says there is room service and amenities on the website that aren't offered. Walked into reception and someone had obviously just done a massive stinky poo in the staff toilet because it smelt foul when I walked in. Air conditioner wasn't working in another family friends room. Cutlery offered in room was still dirty and there was no forks.
- Leanne (8/5): Perfect as a wedding guest! - Close to the wedding venue. Large rooms. Bit dated, but to be expected.
- Petra (5/5): It was convenient for a short stay - Location suited us well There seemed to be people living here which was strange they gave off a very criminal vibe, they had three big dogs wondering around and washing hanging everywhere
outside, other rooms my family stayed in STUNK of smoke
- Karen (4/5): -
- Preeta (9/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Corrine (9/5): - Close to wear we needed
- Lawrence (8/5): -
- Perry (10/5): - Good comfortable room Nothing
- Paola (8/5): -
- paul (10/5): Awesome place - View and clean
- Craig (7/5): Ok only - No breakfast Overpriced
- Matthew (7/5): Greata experience - Great check in - beds were very comfortable. Got a bit freaked out by the internal window into the bathroom only to realise there is a switch to make it opaque.
- Arron (4/5): Would definitely not stay again and not worth the money at all - That it was close to the shops No door locks on bedroom, sliding door on each side of the bathroom that should have definitely needed locks. Every word and every noise could hear ECCO through the unit.
- Sammy (1/5): - It was close to the wedding we attended We booked the deluxe king room only to be told it was already booked and we had to have a different room. Didn’t even give us back the $ difference. Room was dusty, old crumbs of food on the floor, smelt awful, blood stain on the sheet 🤢
- Dean (5/5): - Not very clean. Bathroom door lock was broke
- Makayla (4/5): -
- Rita (9/5): -
- Richard (2/5): Ingrata experiencia - Tiene estacionamiento. Casi todo, no limpian, no hacen las camas, sucio, mal olor, instalaciones con desgaste. Se nota que fue bueno en su momento, pero se fue hechando a perder.
- Richard (2/5): -
- Sarah (1/5): - Reception was very rude. Place was not cleaned throughly
- Andy Doyle (6/5): -
- Andy Doyle (6/5): -
- carolyn (2/5): This property has the potential to be fabulous but is clearly not . - Proximity to event we were attending The room stunk of cigarette smoke.
The bathroom had mold, tile grout was filthy, floor tiles were broken, spa bath was filthy including hair in the jets
- Jie (6/5): -
- Jie (8/5): -
- Scott (6/5): Location good, rundown and very dirty - Location Old and very dirty, in need of repairs and a very deep clean
- Sam (7/5): The location was good for us plenty of parking there could have been a lot better coffee and a few more sachets. I am be - It’s location to the venue The shower connections leaked and there was an annoying whistle while you were having a shower
- Stephanie (3/5): Cheap but not comfortable - Comfortable bed, cooking appliances Immediately noticed the very musty smell from the room and bathroom and dust everywhere. Room was 100m walk from the carpark up spiral stairs which was extremely inconvenient. The worst part though was the loud screeching from the plumbing day and night when the next door room used the water. So loud it would wake anyone up. There was not any basic cooking utensils or even a hairdryer. Absolutely awful.
- Andrew (8/5): Excellent room probably suitable for a longer stay. - The room and bed. Very spacious lounge room. Shower tap washers required attention. The locknut was missing off of one of the taps. Two other tap handles were loose. The lavatory bowl was very wide but not very long which made access to use paper extremely difficult. This was room 1 and I am a rather large person.
- Cox (5/5): - Price Only 2 pillows in the room
- 🚗 (6/5): Overall OK I was only there for 1 night - No breakfast There wasn't much tea or coffee or sugar available. Beside the beds on the floor was dirty .
- Jonah (1/5): Dirty, scummy hotel. Utter filth. Wouldn’t let my dog sleep there. - The room was absolutely filthy. Dirty walls, thick dust coated all the blinds and roof fan. Curtains falling down shower was filthy with mould. Spa was dirty with scum. The kitchen was unclean. Holes in walls. Sheets crumbled. Dirty dirt place. Dirty place very very dirty
- Max (7/5): -
- Nick (7/5): -
- Vanessa (1/5): This place was absolutely terrible. - I don't have a single good word to say about this hotel. This place is horrible. The lock on our door was broken, the bathroom door didn't close, there was mould in the bathroom, there were splatters on the wall that looked like blood and the electrical works were unsafe. And the whole place smelled like cigarettes. I have photos of all of this. This place is awful. I felt unsafe the whole time I was there.
- Paige (2/5): Would rather camp in a cheap tent and no toilet - The reception staff was lovely The room was very very unclean, food & drink bits on everything, dark stains on face washers, hair in the bed, and stains on the sheets, splatters on the walls and was left with a dish sponge that I’m not certain you can call a sponge anymore. I do have plenty of photo evidence. I unfortunately travelled to attend my mother’s wedding so had no other option but to stay, I checked out a night early with my family and informed the reception of the reason why. He asked me & I advised the reason & showed him the photos. He said would speak to the owner regarding this & discuss refunding the second night which I was grateful for. Confirmed my details and did not hear back. It’s been 10 days and I have not heard anything.
- Rodney (4/5): -
- Ken (9/5): -
- Tim (6/5): Fair - Clean The pavers were super slippery and with my elderly mother it was pretty dangerous.
There was also lots of other guest disturbance. I could hear them shower and talk and at 4am when you have a long drive back to Canberra it’s pretty rough to be woken at that time.
- Sarah (7/5): Convenient and decent for price - Close to wedding location Peeling mouldy wallpaper Someone else's earrings left in room
- Sydney Viktorie (9/5): - See through glass between bedroom and toilet and when switching on the glass went milky, so u could not see inside. It was cool, but it took us 1 day to figure it out lol
Pleasant wiev Hard access for handicap, too steep and slipery in morning on outside corridor
- Richard (8/5): No - Not much to say ????
- Michelle (6/5): Ok for Eltham, but there aren’t many other options - Rooms were clean It felt a bit dodgy and run down, especially from the front.
- Rita (10/5): 以后会再去。 - 地理位置很安静!
- Bonnie (5/5): A great short stay accomodation -
- Shane (9/5): Great location and friendly staff. - During our stay, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The accommodations were spotless and quite cosy. We really love the convenient locations close to the wedding venue and restaurants. Room looks a bit tired .
- Kate (9/5): Good -
- Tina (9/5): Pleasant -
- Gina (10/5): Great value for money . - Great location , friendly staff . Quiet room. No meal .
- Tim (9/5): Pleasant. - Stayed in a renovated room. Thank you for the upgrade.
Friendly staff. Garden a bit tired.
