Guest Reviews
- Junaid (1/5): This place is a safety risk and they waste your time - Flat was clean A random man walked in and entered the flat on the same day I checked in with a keycard - huge safety risk, luckily no one else was there like a family member left alone in the flat.
The lock on the inside door also doesn't keep someone out if they have a card from the outside.
Then, last minute they told me numerous times they were going to come check fire alarms or the lock but didn't even come in the 4 hour windows.
- Cindy (1/5): This landlord is MONEY HUNGRY! - Dear [Booking.com / Property Manager Name],
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding my stay at Mitre Scrubs Lane by Artsy (9–14 April).
Upon checking out, I realised I had left behind several vital supplements that support my clinically diagnosed ADHD, including Swanson N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) and Lion’s Mane—both of which are essential to my daily cognitive function and emotional regulation.
I immediately contacted the property manager to explain the urgency and clearly stated that I live with ADHD, which comes with forgetfulness and emotional dysregulation. Despite this, I was met with slow responses, inflexibility, and a dismissive attitude that only worsened my distress. I offered to retrieve the items myself and was told I could not access the property. I was then informed that nothing had been found, but no photographic evidence of the inspection was initially provided—despite your stated policy of professional inspections and documentation.
What’s worse, I later learned that the cleaner entered the property at 10:45am, a full 15 minutes before my official checkout time of 11:00am. This early, unauthorised entry happened while I was still inside, actively packing. She let herself in without knocking or prior notice, and I had to ask her what she was doing, to which she had no clear explanation. I then had to instruct her to leave and return at the correct time.
This moment of intrusion—at an already sensitive point of transition—disrupted my concentration, increased my anxiety, and likely contributed to me forgetting my belongings. For someone with ADHD, unexpected disruptions like this can completely destabilise a fragile mental process that’s already under pressure. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a health-impacting disturbance that your team has failed to take responsibility for. Dear [Booking.com / Property Manager Name],

- Bartłomiej (10/5): Exceptional - We were three people, so for us the apartment was huge. Very spacious, big beds and two bathrooms made this stay very comfortable. Also it was really well equipped. Kitchen with oven, microwave, spacious fridge, dishwasher, stove, pots, everything you need to cook at home. Laundry area with washing machine and a tumble dryer, hoover, and all sorts of cleaning supplies helped as keep the apartment clean. Also thanks to washing machine with tumbler we didn't have to take that much clothes 😉.
Comfortable sofa and a huge TV with Netflix, Amazon , Spotify and so on, nice for evening relax.
Also the contact was really good. We had a small hiccup with an access card first night and with hoover later on but it was solved in no time and in friendly atmosphere. Location is the weakest point but it's not that bad really. For 3 adults it was 13 minutes to Bakerloo metro line which is 25 - 35 minutes to every major attraction. We watched three musicals and visited several museums and popular visiting sites with no problem, it just needed to be planned with that ~45 minutes overall commute time.
Another drawback is lack of any smaller shops in the area, and a big super market is 25 minutes walk but can be accessed by bus, so no biggie. But again, you have to plan ahead for it. No buying snacks in the night 😋. I can imagine that the location might be a drawback for example for people with children.
