Guest Reviews
- Melissa (1/5): Filthy. Key pickup dreadful. Refused to provide a tax invoice. The St is a construction zone. - There is nothing good to say about this accomodation. Be prepared to pay a $300 security bond after you pay for the apartment in full and they keep it for 7 days after your stay. They also refuse to provide a tax invoice so do not stay here if you are travelling for work. It's filthy as the whole street is a construction zone and dirt and dust in the property everywhere. It's disgusting and so are the hosts. The collection point was from a convienience store which was not close to the apartment. About a 6 minute walk. There was no where to park near the pickup point so it was very difficult for both pickup and drop off. I arrived late at night so I had to walk the streets on Canberra looking for the key collection point. Very unsatisfactory. The whole street is under construction as they are building the new light rail. The view out of the window is a big hole in the ground and excavators everywhere. Noisy is the day time!!
- Anju (7/5): Bit hassle for key pick and drop system otherwise it’s fine to be In property - Good location Noise from construction site
- john (4/5): Great location for visiting ANU, but the stay was somewhat spoilt by low quality cooking utensils and the key issue. - The location was very good. The pots, pans and cooking utensils were cheap and the cutlery was very low quality.
We were only provided with 1 set of keys, and there was a $200 call out fee if we accidentally got locked out. There was also a $300 penalty for lost keys which seemed excessive.
- Anita (6/5): Convenient but not cosy - Two bathrooms.
Good food options close by. The shower drains need to be unclogged.
A reasonable amount of cutlery and some staples, such as oil, salt, pepper would be helpful.
The hand basins could be cleaner around the drains.
- Hobbs (1/5): Waste of time and money - Nothing was ripped off never provided a room key Everything was a total f*** around those total scam
- Meredith (4/5): Canberra disappointment - The location was great. The unit was a good size and had two bathrooms and two bedroo.s. There was meant to be parking available, but we were not told there was only one spot. We had two cars. We parked in a vacant spot and received a call at midnight to move the car. We also received a midnight call to turn the airconditioner off.. Canberra was in the middle of rail work, and the CBD was destroyed. It was hard to move around. The noise in the apartment was unbearable. We were not told, and it ruined our long anticipated break. Within the apartment, there were insufficient cutlery, crockery, and kitchen uttensils.. We had to buy cups. There was no tea, coffee, or milk.. In the showers, there was insufficient shampoo conditioner and soap. The showers had black mould on the tiles. On arrival, it was difficult to collect the key from an ezy market some 3 blocks from our apartment. and it is difficult to find the apartment block on arrival. We were expected to return the key to the ezy market, which, given the conditions of the footpaths around the area, was not easy.
- Danny (6/5): Passable. - Spacious. No extra blankets. Pillows were either super thin or really bulky and so uncomfortable. Supercheap toilet paper. Right opposite construction works so noisy and view obstructed. Near a nightclub so there were noisy revellers at 5am on Sunday morning!
- Matt (5/5): Will be amazing when earth works finish... - Its lovely and light and clean, great location. I5s a great place but just a word of caution: Be sure to look at the fine print carefully- it requires a $300 deposit. I did not see this and I didn't have the cash flow for it so it was problematic. Also, there is currently road construction works going on righ infront ofnthe apartment (March 2026 and like to continue for several months). It was constant Jack hammering and beeping from 7am to 6pm (weekdays). Apparently this is disclosed on the booking page but I did not see it. If you plan to be out during the day it's no problem. But if you were like us and working from the apartment, it was a nightmare.
- Collier (2/5): - Location was ok Didn't like that it hadn't been cleaned, although that was rectified with another unit. What I really didn't like was that the key had to be collected and returned from an Ezymart. That was very annoying. I also didn't like that I had to pay a $300 deposit which I didn't know about until after I had paid the non-refundable expensive room rate.
- Bhavesh (5/5): Loud and noisy morning alarms! - It’s was clean They have construction happening just next to the apartment, and they it’s so noisy in the morning.
This should have been informed before booking. With all the window closed still you could not sleep…
- Steven (8/5): -
- Trevor (10/5): Very nice and well appointed unit. - N/a The spot for to park the car was very small and would not take a large vehicle.
- stevens (4/5): Stressful and frustrating - Only 1 fork and hardly any tea coffee milk and sugar for 4 adults for 3 nights. Road closure and noise on rail project inconvenient. Our paperwork said re getting into the property someone would meet us on location but not so. We were contacted en route to pay a refundable deposit before arrival but we don’t do phone banking so was very stressful and contact not easy. Message prior to checkout said dispose of own waste- does this mean we had to take our own rubbish how would we do that if getting transport to airport??? At one stage we could not exit via reception as problem with door this is dangerous!!
- Sophia (7/5): - Location Not enough kitchen items
- Indira (4/5): We won’t be staying again. - We have stayed here previously and had a great experience unfortunately I can’t say the same for this trip. Having to go to a location far from the hotel to pick up the keys with no parking made this a very frustrating experience. The codes were confusing. Having to stop and watch a video for every aspect of the hotel was also frustrating. The request to send information to a different phone number was ignored and no warning was provided about the extensive road works in front of the building limiting access to the car parking. We were extremely late for our meeting having to deal with all these issues.

- Barbara (8/5): Overall a great stay - Clean , close to shops Very dusty behind the beds & cushions we’re not comfortable
- Ahmed (8/5): - Clean and customer service The kitchen needs some tools.
- sam (7/5): Needs improvement - Bedrooms were well maintained. The balcony was a mess, probably never cleaned, cobwebs, and loads of dust.
We couldn't enjoy the balcony due to this .
There were no tea/coffee mugs. We used our disposable cups.
Empty shampoo containers were kept, which should have been thrown out.
The pillows were very uncomfortable, too thin and flimsy.
- Li (9/5): -
- Peter (8/5): An excellent 2 bed apartment in the centre of Canberra at a great price. - Excellent location, plenty of room.
- Janelle (5/5): - Hard to find carpark. Rang for help and was just sent the same information I had.
Should have just asked what Street I was in and told me which street to go to.
Ensuite shower drain had so much hair in it that it overflowed.
No top sheet on the beds.
- Michael (8/5): Clean, good location. - The key drop was a bit poinful, I would say leave the keys in the room and lock the door.
Annoying to go back to drop off.
Otherwise all good.
