• Simone (10/5): - Top Lage, super ausgestattet, sehr schöner Blick auf den Platz. Sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter bei der Ankunft - ich wurde zur Parkgarage gelotst. Der einzige aber winzige Minuspunkt ist das winzige Bad. Aber es ist alles da, was man braucht.

• Karen (8/5): Central apartment within city walls -quiet area and easy to get to all areas. - Clean, spacious, bright, great location. Bathroom small for 4 people but sufficient for 2 Apartment big up one floor with working lift. Video to find place was helpful for non Spanish speakers. Paid for associated apartment parking on a Sunday/Monday (3pm to 12 midday) but paid x2 days €15 per day for a less than 24hr stay. Granted cheaper than main car parks around but realised too late that we could have found free parking outside the city walls, for this period.
• Deena (10/5): Great location…near the most popular sites - This property is in the perfect location. It’s close to all the major sites. You can climb part of the wall near. Restaurants are plentiful near the apartment and there is a grocery store nearby. If you drive, the garage is not far. The beds were comfortable and the living room/TV room is large. The kitchen is very nice with a washing machine which is great. The unit has air conditioning but we didn’t use it because it was not very warm outside. Like others have said…the bathroom is very small. There really isn’t room to put toiletries. Speaking of toiletries…bring your own soap and shampoo. Those are not provided. Also…it would be nice if the apartment provided a couple of bottles of water.
• Bela (10/5): - Apartamento en la primera planta con ascensor y vistas a la muralla. Muy central y aconsejo cojer plaza de garaje por que no hay posibilidad de aparcar cerca. Avila es una estupenda ciudad que merece la pena visitar

• Asela (10/5): Ideal para visitar la ciudad - La situación y la amplitud del apartamento. Además hay que mencionar que para el check-in, aunque no hay nadie esperándote, el anfitrión te contacta y te envía instrucciones muy claras para que no tengas ningún problema para entrar.

• Lorena (7/5): Apartamento céntrico Ávila - La situación del apartamento es excepcional y la decoración es muy elegante. Eche en falta gel de baño, un trapo para limpiar la mesa de la cocina y otro para secarte las manos. También me hubiese gustado que los armarios se pudieran abrir, estaban cerrados con llave y no pudimos utilizarlos. Y en el baño solo funcionaba la luz que iba con el extractor que hacía mucho ruido, deberían arreglar la otra luz. Los cojines de las camas eran muy blandos y finos

• Jose Antonio (10/5): El lugar perfecto para alojarte en Ávila!! - Todo el apartamento está genial y la ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro y a un paso de todo. Inmejorable!! No hay nada que no nos haya gustado.

• Anthony (7/5): Lots of positives but a few downers. - Location was fabulous. It was spacious and comfortable and the location was excellent. The owner was helpful. Beautiful hot shower but only enough for one person. No hair dryer or kettle.
• Ralf (4/5): Können wir nicht weiterempfehlen. - Es fing schon damit an, dass wir eine falsche Nummer für den Schlüsselkasten bekamen. Das war schon sehr nervig. Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Viele Stellen waren nicht sauber und einige wirklich dreckig. Vor allen Dingen in der Küche. Teilweise sehr fettig und teilweise sehr klebrig. Der Eigentümer kam um eine Kaffeemaschine auszuwechseln. Ihn hat es nicht weiter interessiert. Das Badezimmer ist anderthalb Quadratmeter groß. In der Dusche ist Schimmel und sie ist sehr eng. Tagsüber ist ständig Lärm von der Plaza und nachts waren viele betrunkene Jugendliche unterwegs in entsprechender Lautstärke. auch bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr deutlich zu hören. Seit langem unsere schlechteste Erfahrung!

• Garcia Melero (10/5): Repetiría - La limpieza y comodidad como si estuviera en casa además de lo céntrico que está ubicado y el buen trato del dueño. La única pega que podría ponerle es que el baño es un poco pequeño.
• Marina (3/5): Las fotos engañan - La ubicación y el hombre que nos atendió era muy atento Estaba todo sucio, las sábanas sucias, con pelos y manchas marrones. En general se veía todo sucio. El cuarto de baño muy pequeño, y no era lo que nos pensábamos. Al final es un dinero, que no ha sido bien invertido, ya que no hemos podido estar cómodos.

• Goldhara (10/5): In spite of a few dislikes about the property, we enjoyed our stay in Avila. - A great location. Spacious unit. Beautiful front windows. The sheets are either quite old or weren’t changed from previous use. The beds were too soft. The electricity went out for unknown reasons and it took some coordination with management to get it resolved. The kitchen needs a good sorting through of equipment and missing or obsolete parts need replacing or discarding.

• Raymond (4/5): - location was excellent with close by parking When we reserved it was a two bathroom however the second bathroom was out of order and the only one available was tiny. The second bedroom is open to the living room and the sliding wall/door to close it off was broken. No privacy at all. All the electric was off upon arrival. The host sent us a video for the two breakers that were tripped.
• Sam Merritt (10/5): - Location. Very large unit. Clean. Washing machine. I had a difficult time with getting the instructions for parking and the apartment from WhatsApp. The host did not communicate with English for me. Luckily we were able to talk with locals to assist us.

Se sentía como estar en un espacioso Loft. Altamente recomendable. El lobby del edificio tenía un olor muy fuerte, muy fuerte; creo que era la alfombra. Cuando la puerta estaba abierta no se sentía tanto, pero si la puerta estaba cerrada era insoportable. Aclaro que esto nada tiene que ver con el piso en que nos alojamos (San José y Maderuelo)

• Hexeen (7/5): Ben je in een grote groep dan kan je dit appartement als budgetoptie overwegen. - De ligging van het appartement is buitengewoon goed en het is ruim. Mogelijk een budgetoptie indien je met 4 of 5 personen reist. Deze plaats werd warm aanbevolen door Boeking. Meestal is dit dan ook effectief de moeite, maar in dit geval dus niet. Zo was er bijvoorbeeld (i) geen microgolf aanwezig, (ii) was de werking van de airco ondermaats, en (ii) was er geen koffiemachine (met liefst een minimum aantal capsules) of een flesje water. Je verwacht eigenlijk dat dit in orde is. Het was een onpersoonlijke ervaring. Spijtig, want er zit zoveel meer in met kleine aanpassingen.
• Helena (6/5): Puede mejorar - La ubicación cerca de la Catedral. Los ventanales del salón que dan a la zona peatonal, aunque no estuvieran limpios. Tiene parking cerca si se solicita (15 euros). La falta de limpieza en el baño y en las sábanas.
• Noelia (7/5): - Sin duda, la ubicación es lo mejor que tiene Sólo había en funcionamiento un baño, el cual tiene un lavabo de tamaño ridículo, no puedes ni lavarte la cara. Además, en una de las habitaciones no hay persiana, ni contraventana, ni cortina opaca…por este motivo entraba mucha luz

• Michael (10/5): Budget luxury in an ancient UNESCO walled city. - A fantastic place , even better than photos. only a few hundred metres from the main city gate and just inside the walked city. Remember to take a tuktuk ride to see the many city gates and narrow streets, also a panoramic lookout back to the walled ancient city. If you a walking a Camino with a friend treat yourselves to some luxury in this 2 bedroom apartment. We only stayed 1 night!! Pity as the apartment and the old city are fantastic

The facilities were great. We had very complete instructions on how to access the apartment. Wish we had stayed longer.

Car parking close by and easy accessible. The apt had everything in it that you would need for a longer stay. The second bedroom was in the main living space and closed off by impossible to close concertina wall. Neither bathroom was attached to the bedrooms and both very small.
• Helen (10/5): Truly exceptional and highly recommended - It was clean and modern and in the heart of Avila. Coffee shops and a cathedral almost on your doorstep, what is not to like? The ambience and the view of the square are unsurpassed. Rodrigo was super-helpful, and made the self-checking in very easy with WhatsApp videos. I would definitely stay there again. There is nothing that I did not like. It is worthy of a solid 10

Our apartment was very clean, with all facilities needed for a few days or more. Secure lock up garage was a bonus. Avila is a UNESCO listed town and it deserves this recognition. A very beautiful town and we were disappointed that we only stayed one night.

• Victoria (6/5): Ideal central Ávila location for a family of 4 overnight - Great central location. No noise from the street despite being on first floor with big windows. 1. The directions to the lock box were not clear as it was “hidden”. We rang the host and after 15 minutes we were directed to the box. 2. The bedroom set-up I don’t believe is clear. There is a double bedroom and then the second double bedroom is actually part of the living room which can be shuttered off from the living room with concertina doors. Neither is en-suite. It worked for us but was not what I was expecting. 3. The flat shares a small entryway with the adjacent flat. The walls are very thin. While there was no noise off the street, there was noise from the adjacent flat. 4. We unfortunately left a book at the property. We rang the host to ask if he’d be kind enough to post to Madrid if we of course covered all postage costs. It was disappointing that he would not do this.
