The beds were super comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Although location was fine, the actual address was not the one listed on Booking. The place is a bit smaller than what the pictures suggested and the upper level has quite a low ceiling.

O prédio e a área anterior de entrada no apartamento são horríveis! Por ser área comum, é sujo demais! Por dentro, não corresponde às fotos expostas (ao menos, na unidade que ficamos por um dia). Tínhamos 3 noites e preferi sair arcando com prejuízo.

Dryer was faulty and kept beeping, not drying clothes properly even after clearing the lint basket. Water heater was either very hot or very cold. Quite impossible to meet halfway.

It was completely different from the photos and description. There was a man who looked like a homeless person at the entrance to the building, and he persistently asked me for money.

The building is dark and the 6th floor is very dirty and dark. Huge construction just in front of the building which generates a lots of noise 24h work going on.

The apartment is spacious, with a private bathroom in each bedroom — perfect for traveling with friends If you arrive late, getting into the complex can be difficult — the external entrance may be locked. The host provides a video with entry instructions; please watch it in full before you travel. The apartment can be quite humid, and in winter the ventilation may not warm the space. We also missed more hooks by the entry and towel hooks in the bathroom. The flat is rather worn — there are some damaged areas and holes in the floor (covered by a rug). That said, it was clean and offered at a low price, so for the cost we found it tolerable

Артем (1/5): Ужасно. Это худший booking, что мне доводилось делать в своих поездках. - Расположение относительно улицы Нанкин роад, постельное белье было чистое. На этом всё. Первое и самое наиглавнейшее. Что. Следует. Знать. Это ВООБЩЕ НЕ ЛЮКС! Это обычная убитая квартира. Первое что встречает - дверь с плакатом на удачу, который весь пошарпанный и с оторванными краями. Весело. Поменять плакат на новый - ну сколько это стоит и займет по времени? 5 минут? Попадаем внутрь и... это обыкновенное жилье на 3 комнаты, весьма замызганное и с уставшим ремонтом. Половина лампочек не горит, на стенах трещины и отслоившаяся штукатурка, на вытяжках вековая пыль и грязь, то же самое на полках, в ванной комнате я не смог даже принять душ, не смог уговорить себя туда залезть. Обычная убитая квартира. Тут или не надо писать слова про люкс, а сказать правду, или взять и сделать ремонт: вкрутить новые лампочки, все помыть, привести в порядок вещи. Отреставрировать ванную. Ужасно, впечатление о Шанхае сильно испорчено. Владелец как-то вообще про это не думает. Пока что это худшее жилье из всего, где мне пришлось жить, благо я останавливался всего на одну ночь. А ожидание были как от люкса. Как вишенка на торте: унитаз не спускал воду и владелец вызывал сантехника, который вантузом прочистил засор. Ну капец. В квартире не хватает заварника для чая, кастрюль и сковородок. Впрочем, готовить на этой кухне желания не было вообще. Владелец через вичат предоставил мне код от электронного замка и лично мы никогда не виделись, все общение было через вичат. Заселение прошло не в установленные сроки - уборщица закончила убираться в 16:00, хотя должна была закончить к 14:00, владелец потребовал залог 500 юаней как гарантию, что мы не устроим в квартире погром. После выселения владелец долго не возвращал залог и потребовались угрозы и жалоба в booking, чтобы проблема разрешилась. Остался неприятный осадочек. Так ведут себя либо безответственные люди, либо мошенники.
caroline (10/5): perfect location, very helpful staff. - location is perfect and the communication was easy and very friendly. bathroom are not brand new, but very very convenient.
Yuk Yee (9/5): Prima verblijf - Lokatie, super dichtbij, winkelcentra in de buurt (Nanjing road), supermarkt om de hoek max 2 minuten lopen, the bund op ongeveer half uur loopafstand. Woning is groot (ik had een 4-kamer woning, 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers, fengyang road 258). Service is goed en duidelijk, ze reageren meteen op verzoeken. En helpen bij vragen of verzoeken. Ik kwam vroeg aan en ze hadden me geholpen met een early check-in tussen 13:00-14:00. Ik vertrok iets later en ze hadden late check-out geregeld 13:00 check out en 14:00 koffers ophalen. Er is op <5 minuten een left luggage store. Dat hadden ze geadviseerd mochten ze het niet kunnen regelen. Ze denken graag met je mee. De registratie om de sleutel te krijgen is wat bewerkelijk. Elke gast moest apart geregistreerd worden, ik was met 5 personen, dus moest het proces 5x doorlopen worden. (Ze kunnen er niks aan doen, is verplicht vanuit de regelgeving). De woning bevat gebruikssporen. Communicatie is vanuit WeChat, je moet vooraf downloaden. Whatsapp werkt niet in (heel) China. Betaling is vooraf, kan niet via creditcard, wel via WeChat of Alipay (mogelijk extra kosten). Ze hebben meerdere appartementen allen rondom peoples square. De ligging bij booking.com kan dus ietwat afwijken van de daadwerkelijke ligging.

Streekstra (6/5): Vlakbij metrostation. Schoon appartement, ZEER SLECHTE bedden. - De locatie. De wasmachine. Appartement was schoon. De bedden waren superslecht. Alsof ik op de grond lag. Partner heeft op de bank geslapen. De host hierover bericht, ze probeerde mee te denken voor een oplossing, maar niet gelukt. Heeft nog fruit gestuurd voor het ongemak. Goed bedoeld, maar had liever een financiële compensatie gezien. De enige oplossing was nieuwe matrassen. Het verbaasd me dat niemand dit niet eerder heeft aangegeven. Ook dat ze alles moest regelen via een tussenpersoon. Stonden geen flesjes water klaar. Die Stonden op de gang. Slechte voorbereiding.

Luca (7/5): - Il palazzo si trova a metà strada tra People's Square Metro station e Shanghai Natural History Museum, l'alloggio si trova al sedicesimo piano In zona si trovano diversi negozi di alimentari e ristoranti cinesi (direzione People's Square). Appena inviata la prenotazione in Booking ho ricevuto una richiesta di pagamento con WeChat oppure Alipay, benchè la scadenza del pagamanto fosse solo 24 ore dopo, in realtà il pagamento è stato effettuato qualche giorno prima del soggiorno. Prima dell'arrivo sarebbe necessario inviare anche una cauzione sempre con WeChat o Alipay, dopo aver mandato le foto dei documenti sono riuscito a convincere i gestori a non richiedere la cauzione. Per sincerarmi che la prenotazione fosse confermata ho fatto telefonare ai gestori da una cinese madrelingua. La comunicazione coi gestori è avvenuta tutta via WeChat (contatti presenti nel primo messaggio). Dopo aver effettuato il pagamanto si ricevono via messaggio istruzioni per raggiungere il palazzo e l'appartamento, si tratta di video da vedere integralmente (per riconoscere i passaggi). Prima dell'inizio del soggiorno è obbligatorio registrarsi online sulla piattaforma del Ministero degli Interni Cinese, è decisamente non semplice; inviando la foto del passaporto ai gestori in realtà possono effettuarlo loro senza alcun problema (4 su 5 occupanti hanno seguito questa procedura). Finita questa procedura si riceve il codice elettronico per sbloccare la seratura della porta di ingresso all'appartamento. L'appartamento è quello delle foto (appartamento delux 3 stanze letto!), è stato ristrutturato da almeno 3 o 4 anni e si iniziano a vedere i segni del tempo. In ogni caso tutto è funzionanate correttamente. La cucina, oltre agli elettrodomestici, ha un set base per cucinare e mangiare. Non sono presenti forchette e coltelli da tavola (solo da cucina). Abbiamo chiesto un late check out e ci è stata accordata 1 ora. Tutte le procedure prevedono una assodata esperienza pregressa per riuscire a interpretare le istruzioni scritte in una lingua diversa e poi tradotte e sopratutto senza molti servizi dello smartphone non utilizzabili in Cina. Nel quartiere vi sono molti lavori in corso è quindi abbastanza rumoroso e caotico

Oleg (10/5): Идеальное место в центре города для большой семьи или компании - Хорошее месторасположение. Два сан узла, кухня, три больших кровати, стиральная машина с сушкой. В одном из санузлов сложно отрегулировать воду. В другом нет такой проблемы
Jana (10/5): Cozy place with the best location - This time in Shanghai we stayed in two places - in a hotel and in this Apartment. And this is truly a hidden gem and I highly recommend this place! It was quite close to where we stayed in the beginning, but this location truly changes your experience in this city. Everything is super convenient, location is beautiful and downstairs you have all stores (coffee, food, etc) you might need. Apartment is especially cozy, with a nice balcony. You can turn on a heater if you feel cold, rooms are spacious and this book shelf simply adds to a unique atmosphere. Special thanks for the hosts who helped us with everything we needed and replied super fast. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again. Some of the light bulbs could be replaced I think, because the light is constantly flashing, but it is a really small nuance.
CHEN CHIEH (1/5): - 拿鑰匙動作繁雜,圖示很不清楚還要觀看一段超長影片才知道要幹嘛,到現場鑰匙密碼鎖卡住,一般女生根本打不開房間設計超詭異,同行男生被燈具打到不下十次以上,浴缸正上方有吊燈是,房間走道正中間也有吊燈,隨時可能會被燈具打床頭的擺飾是一個超茂密假草,睡一睡還會被扎到真的是滿奇特的一間BNB 最重要的一點熱水有問題!!!熱水器在室內會漏一氧化碳+一間房間熱水會燙傷人而另一間會冷死人是我目前遇過最雷的

Ashley (10/5): Cozier and more comfortable with a hotel, in an incredible location. - The apartment was spacious, light, comfortable and beautiful. It was a perfect place for me and my friends to spend 5 days over Christmas. With separate bedrooms and bathrooms we could have privacy, but still enjoy the common space of the living room and kitchen. The location itself is fantastic, walkable distance to touristy and hip areas alike. Most of our days there we would pick a direction and walk, and coming back later at night after a few too many drinks in Jing An was super easy. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and when somethings weren't perfect immediately they worked hard to rectify. Check in was also pretty easy, the only hiccup being with mandatory government registration which took a minute, after which access to the apartment was very easy. When we arrived there were a few things the kitchen was lacking (eg. enough cutlery, crockery, etc) BUT - when we raised this with the hosts they immediately ordered extra kitchen supplies for us and had them sent over within several hours.
