• Dirk (5/5): - Hatte mir mehr erwartet bei einer ca 8,5 Bewertung. Es war passabel, für die Umgebung aber nicht sauber. Toilette sah wild aus und überall deiner Sand. Schon beim Einchecken. 3 Tage wurde nicht sauber gemacht. Hab jetzt ein sauberes und um fast die hälfte billigeres Zimmer.

• Cedric (9/5): Un petit havre de paix à proximité de tout. - Le personnel et le manager sont des personnes accueillantes et chaleureuses. La chambre est simple mais confortable. Sa situation dans un jardin est paisible et relaxant et pourtant, vous êtes au plus près de toutes les animations et de la mer, à quelques pas. Le toit terrasse offre également une magnifique vue. Un séjour de deux jours que nous aurions aimé poursuivre, mais nous avons été victimes de leur succès, plus de chambres disponible! Nous reviendrons. Nous avons tout apprécié, nous nous permettons donc seulement de faire quelques remarques à titre personnel, qui n'enlève en rien le plaisir que nous avons eu d'être là. Mais voilà, ma femme et moi-même, le petit déjeuner salé c'est vraiment pas notre truc! Une proposition simple de pain beurre et confiture nous aurait enchanté. Accompagné d'un (vrai) café avec du lait, et là, on touchait à la perfection.

• Virginie (10/5): Un oasis dans la ville - J’ai passé 12 jours au Al Deira et ce fut une très belle expérience. L’endroit est à la fois convivial, propre et très calme, ce qui est assez rare tout en étant idéalement situé en plein cœur de Dahab. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec des produits frais et locaux, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Mais ce qui rend ce lieu vraiment spécial, c’est la gentillesse du personnel. Toute l’équipe est adorable, toujours disponible et attentionnée. Une mention toute particulière à Ahmed, qui a été exceptionnel tout au long de mon séjour. Et un vrai coup de cœur pour le toit de l’établissement, où l’on peut admirer de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur la ville et les montagnes — un moment suspendu chaque soir. Je recommande vivement cet établissement et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

The place has amazing rooftop, its a pity there is not enough equipment to make it more cozy.

• Camille (9/5): 2 semaines à Dahab entre plongée, kitesurf et chill, hostel idéalement placé à Lighthouse pour tout faire à pied. Le per - L’emplacement idéal ! Le prix avec le petit déjeuner inclus qui était très bon !

Die sanitären Einrichtungen haben sehr gut funktioniert, die Dusche mit konstant warmen Wasser, alles war sauber, es gab ausreichend Toilettenpapier und Seifen/Shampoo. Die Bettwäsche war aus weisser Baumwolle und die Handtücher groß und flauschig. Das Frühstück war typisch ägyptisch und wurde im Hof /Garten serviert. Vorne an der Strasse sind extrem viele Restaurants und kleine Läden, zur Strandpromenade gibt es einen direkten Zugang.

• alia (9/5): Ubicación perfecta, ambiente increíble y trato excepcional - La experiencia ha sido muy buena y es un alojamiento que sin duda recomendaría. La ubicación es perfecta porque está en una zona tranquila pero al mismo tiempo muy cerca de todo y del mar, lo que te permite moverte fácilmente sin renunciar a la calma. El ambiente es muy relajado y auténtico. Además, ofrecen muchísimas opciones como alquiler de bicis, actividades de buceo, etc., lo que hace que todo sea muy cómodo. Todo estaba limpio y bien cuidado y las terrazas son un perfectas para descansar después de un día de buceo, resguardadas del viento y muy agradables. El personal es otro gran punto a destacar: súper atento en todo momento, siempre hay alguien disponible para ayudarte con lo que necesites. Mención especial a Ahmed, que fue especialmente amable y atento con nosotros. Por poner algo menos positivo (aunque no es culpa del alojamiento), se escuchan perros ladrando de madrugada, lo que puede despertarte puntualmente.
• Brittany (7/5): Was good overall but at times frustrating - The staff were good when it came to delivering the breakfast each morning. The first day there was construction right by the room I booked so the owner offered me to “upgrade” by moving downstairs. The downstairs rooms have a small terrace which is much better because you can keep away from the smoke in the common areas outside unless someone is smoking in the terrace next to you. The owner compensated for two nights due to some partying young college guests that made it very hard to sleep and relax. The management is not the best. The staff made excuses as to why they weren’t cleaning the rooms regularly and I always had to ask them to clean and then felt like I was burdening them and had to do a lot of emotional labor. I asked for sheet changing after 7 days and they came in and pretended to change but it was the exact same sheets because it had a stain. They seemed to lack a schedule and leadership and the owner doesn’t like taking accountability or feedback. The staff had a language barrier which added significant friction as they would agree but have no idea what you said. It was very frustrating. I literally just asked them for cleaning supplies to clean myself because it was so frustrating to ask and get a proper clean. Finally they did a full clean on one of the days. I was washing laundry several days from the sink because I was too ill to go out and they waited until the last day to offer me to use their laundry in the back which could have saved so much hassle. I was hanging clothes on the dead tree in front of the terrace and they just let me do it the whole time instead of showing me that they had everything in the back. It is not a bad place to stay and it’s better than most in this town I think honestly because it seems to be a universal issue and when I first checked in the room was cleaned well. They bring breakfast included daily and they don’t have bad hearts but there could be improvements to make it more comfortable and less frustrating.

• Ritva (10/5): Great value , clean and comfy in quiet, easily accessible location. - If you have the breakfast at Al Deira it's filling and tasty, if you take it down at the beach it's a smaller and more basic but you get the view by the water .to compensate! Room was a great size, comfortable and clean with a little porch where you can sit outside. Nice shower and good sized bed. Wifi was stable. There is a rooftop but it's not set up for hanging out so I didn't go up there after checking out the 360 views. The staff were friendly and available. Will definitely go back if I return to Dahab. Best value I found after checking out several places in the town. Rooftop would be a really nice place to spend some time if it was more set up for that. Otherwise , great job!
• Gertraud (8/5): Traumhafte Sinai-Erfahrung - Alles war sehr gut organisiert, bereits die Kommunikation mit Mohammed im Vorfeld per WhatsApp klappte hervorragend. Wir wurden pünktlich im Hotel in Dahab abgeholt sowoe rechtzeitig zum Flughafen nach Sharm el sheik gebracht. der Beduinenfahrer aus dem Camp stellte sich auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein und hielt sogar für Fotostopps in der traumhaften Landschaft. Auch die Sinai-Exkursion mit Beduinenführer klappte einwandfrei. Sehr gute Info erhalten und auch der Ausflug zum Katharinenkloster am zweiten Tag verlief einwandfrei. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Мне было удобно, что мой дайв клуб был в соседнем доме. Цена / качество. Полотенце было не свежее, но его поменяли по запросу, вода в душе плохо уходила. Были пятно на пододеяльнике, но я не стала просить поменять, белье было свежее.. Для душа дают несколько саше с шампунем и это всё. Завтраки съедобные (овощи с яйцом в пите и маленький кофе), но после 2 одинаковых завтраков, я перестала ходить на них.

And the owner helped book another place when I needed to extend my stay. Breakfast was nice, room was tidy and clean. Great overall.

• Saša (9/5): Will return :) - Great location - just a minute walk from the main street and the sea, but still away from the noise. Nice room with a small terrace in front with racks to hang the wet swimsuits - very useful. Comfy bed and a lot of power sockets in the room. Tasty breakfast is included - from 9AM in one of the seaside restaurants, but if you need an early breakfast (I always needed to report for diving before 9), the hotel staff will bring you falafel to the hotel garden and make you an excellent coffee (or tea if you prefer). The staff is genuinely nice, so is the owner, who was checking throughout my stay that I had everything I needed to be happy. I stayed for a week, so he offered room cleaning and a change of towels/bed linens whenever I wanted to. There's a small fridge in the room to keep your drinks cold. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. There's also a nice rooftop I would enjoy, but it was unfortunatelly already closed for the season. Lots of friendly cats around :) When I return to Dahab, I'll definitely stay at Al Deira again. Not that it really bothered me, just thought it might be worth mentioning: there is no curtain in the shower and the water is slightly salty. But I think that's normal in Egypt. There was a plastic mop provided to clean the bathroom after the shower and the floor dried very quickly afterwards.
• Kara (4/5): - The rooms were ok and the AC was good. They only gave us one towel and we asked at least 3x but no one would give us another one. The staff really doesn’t seem to know English at all which is a barrier. The key broke and we were not able to get a new room or lock until the next day which trapped us at the hotel and it got dirty with the lack of regular scheduled cleaning (on request only). They even smoked a cigarette in my room when fixing the doorknob and just dropped the butt on the ground I was appalled. The wifi didn’t work at all from our room.
