Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (9/5): Worked really well for me being so close to the beach, shops and the places I needed to get to. - The location was great, I had lovely dawn and dusk walks along the beach front and it is walking distance to shops. The side street it was on was a little quieter than the Main Street. Inside was quiet, clean, tidy, simple. Not the owners fault, but there were ants if I didn't wipe all surfaces down straight away. Ants come with weather sometimes and it was uncharacteristically wet. I found the main bedroom a little noisy so chose to sleep in the back bedroom. All beds were comfortable.
- Pam (8/5): Tip top beach side digs. - Fantastic location, a very short walk to the beach. About a 10 min walk into town. Off street parking was handy, had everything needed for a holiday by the beach.
The is a small verandah street side for eating dinner outside, seating inside as well. Cosy and comfortable for two people. Nothing we didn't like, my husband and I were happy with the unit.
- Ayla-Sophia (10/5): Was just what we needed for our Adelaide visit. - We absolutely loved the location, was a pleasant distance from all locations visited during our visit. We also very much enjoyed being able to go for our daily beach walks to reset.

- Karen (9/5): Great - Close to beach. Very comfortable quaint cottage. Not anything I didn’t like but suggest that they have some games to play. Curtains would also help for privacy during day.
- Chris (10/5): - Great location, perfect for a small family. Lockup parking off street too and everything you need Ring sensor light needs to be adjusted to it isn’t so sensitive to movement and keep turning on. Light from this bleeds into the main bedroom
- Kim (8/5): We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in this cute and comfortable beach cottage. - Sur La Mer is a small but very comfortable beach house. It was perfect for us to relax in after sightseeing in Adelaide. It contained everything we needed, and we were very glad of the air conditioning!
Location is great - a quiet spot just a block away from Semaphore beach, and a couple of blocks walk to the shops on Semaphore Road - with easy access on the train or bus into Adelaide. Could use more hooks for hanging wet towels.
- Amanda (3/5): Poor quality we informed the property manger of all above - The parking , close to the beach The furniture was of very poor quality the sofa and dinning room chair full of stains . Holes in the blanket on the sofa . The bed linen was old and poor quality . The floors were unclean .
The over quality of the furniture and linen was extremely poor it all needed replacing . We had paid for 2 nights and left after one .

- Lachlan (10/5): - A very clean, modern unit in a perfect location. About 10 minutes walk from the main street and 2 minutes to the beach. It is quiet and although a little bit tight for a 4 person family, would highly recommend. Also loved the off street secure parking and outdoor area. Awesome with little kids. The curtains in the front room didnt block out much light, and there is a ring spotlight outside the window. Was a little ominous being on camera, and the spotlight would also come on every time a car went past, lighting up the main bedroom.
The couch is also quite old and small for a 4 person unit.
- Sue (9/5): Perfect spot for our family trip to Adelaide - The location was perfect for our needs. Contact with the owner was exceptional.
- Suzanne (9/5): We had a wonderful relaxing break. Thankyou Sur la Mer Semaphore. - Quiet, clean and very comfortable. Near the sandy beach for walks and close to the other services
- craig (10/5): Was an awesome stay! - Comfy and close to the beach! Staff where friendly and helpful

- MAULIK (8/5): -
- Donna (8/5): Bright and clean house in a great location - Great location, Clean and modern Couch not very comfortable.
And quite a small main area in position to watch tv at the end of the day.
- Georgie (9/5): - Excellent location, close to beach and shops. Too much personal information collected before our stay, eg licence, flight number
- Peter (9/5): -
- Lucy (9/5): - Great location, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Just a personal preference as with three females staying at the property, there could be more mirrors as it was a fight in the morning for the only one in the bathroom.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great location, perfect facilities that suited our needs - Location and facilities were perfect for us. Nothing to not like
- Victoria (9/5): Superb - Great location, clean and felt like a home away from home.
- Maddi (8/5): Great stay! Highly recommend - Amazing location to walk to town and the beach. Clean and cozy too! Only thing the bedrooms get cold at night just had to wear extra layers as the heater in the lounge didn’t overly heat up the bedrooms.
- Amy (9/5): Close to beach and amenities. Small and compact but very good value for money for a short term stay. - Easy access with clear instructions to lock box. Very clean and decorated well to give a nice calm beach feel. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could think of for cooking. Was smaller than expected and outdoor seating area is right in the street with no backyard space. Wasn’t expexting as much traffic noise. Bed was very uncomfortable and wasn’t confident in its stability.

- Georgia (10/5): Really lovely place to stay in a great location. - The property was clean, welcoming, comfortable.
- Brenton (8/5): Semaphore is a beautiful place, without so much tourism as other locations. Overall, was very happy with accomodation. - Proximity to beach and local attractions, cleanliness. Also private car parking behind roller door. Only fault really was a water pump in the roof cycling all the time, on and off, day and night. Annoying. Everything else was very comfortable.
- Navin (8/5): Great location right next to Semaphore beach - Perfect location if you want to be close to Semaphore beach. We were two couples and were quite comfortable during our two night stay here. The property is as described and we enjoyed our stay Nothing we didn't like, my only recommendation would be to look at aircon in the rooms too. The aircon in the lounge takes a while to get to the bedrooms especially during those hot days.
- Carmen (10/5): We would happily stay here again. - The accommodation was modern, clean and in a great location close to the beach.
I would happily stay here again. There was nothing we did not like however it took us a few minutes to find the drying rack!!
- Beaven (10/5): Very homey little place with excellent location to beach. - So close to beach, very homey. Having an undercover car park was great too with the heat. There were a few condiments available, a coffee pod machine and small long life milk in fridge. Bathroom had shampoo conditioner and body wash available. Clothes hanger was gone so no where to hang swimmers

- Yuli (9/5): Pleasent stay - Nice cozy place for 2 people. Location is convenient if you have a car, 2 min walk to the beach. Comes with a garage parking which is handy. Kitchen is compact and clean. Self check in was easy and straight forward. Minor things such as another mirror outside of bathroom would be useful.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saint (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): We had an enjoyable stay - Location, shower, big tv, private garage Main bedroom very small, no towel rails in bathroom
- Alexander (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (8/5): Very tastefully decorated and comfortable for two people - The place was very clean. Location was within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants Not enough linen like hand towels or bath mats.
- John (9/5): Our Australian getaway - Lovely holiday let ,close to the beach great self catering but close to local restaurants and takeaway. The surrounding area was lovely. Nothing .

- Cassandra (9/5): Superb - Great location, quick walk to the beach. Nice house, great for what we needed.
- Jenny (8/5): Met all of our needs for short 3 day stay to visit our son in Adelaide. - Perfect location, off street parking. Nicely appointed. Dining Chairs all had stains on them and was a bit off putting.
If staying longer, so better cooking utensils and equipment, but we are out both nights so not to big an issue.
- Michael (7/5): Fair - Couldn’t turn ac off until I bought new batteries and the keys held together with a bit of wire was a bit poor
- Paul (9/5): Nice location, unit was clean and quiet. Helpful host, much appreciated. Thanks! - Nice location, clean and quiet. Helpful host, much appreciated.
