Guest Reviews
- Jeyaraj V (7/5): Had good memories - Excellent location Property a little dated
- Katy (7/5): Comfortable London stay - The apartment generously accommodated our larger group, providing ample space for comfort. Its convenient location, nestled near Queensway and Bayswater tube stations in a charming neighborhood adjacent to the park, offered both accessibility and a serene setting.
The owner's warm and welcoming nature added to our experience; taking the time to personally greet us and explain the apartment's features was a lovely touch.
With three bedrooms and two baths, a rarity in London flats, it perfectly suited our group's needs. Moreover, the presence of a lift to reach the 2nd floor British/3rd floor American was an unexpected but immensely appreciated asset, especially for members with mobility challenges. Also, the washing machine came in handy!
The provision of plentiful towels, bath soaps, and the unexpected stash of leftover tea and coffee in the kitchen further added to the convenience and comfort of our stay. It saved us from rushing out to purchase immediate essentials. While the property was well-suited to our needs, it showed signs of wear. Some minor maintenance issues caught our attention during our stay: the wall mounted hand shower holder in the single bath is not secure, requiring us to hold the shower hose while showering. Additionally, in one of the single rooms the slats in the slatted mattress frame came loose; while easily fixable by re-inserting the slats, securing them with velcro could prevent future occurrences. Lastly, the curtains in one of the single rooms could benefit from repair to ensure smooth functionality in opening and closing. These are minor repairs that will probably be attended to by the diligent owner, and they did not negatively impact our stay.
