• MARCEL (8/5): - Maison au milieu de la campagne, loin du stress, permettant de profiter du calme et de la tranquilité. Accessible en voiture. Confort rustique. L'hôte est très disponible et à répondu à toutes nos questions. Casa en el medio del campo, lejos del estrés, que permite disfrutar de la calma y tranquilidad. Accesible en coche. Confort rústico. El anfitrión es muy disponible y respondió a todas nuestras preguntas. Rien. Nada.

• Brian (8/5): - Wonderful location and sunny open position. Easy to find down a narrow rural lane. Despite the radiators the living room was cold, a log burner would be a welcome addition for an early spring stay
• Werner (10/5): Bezaubernde Unterkunft unter Sternen. - Absolut überzeugender Aufenthalt in einsamer Lage. Ruhiger und abgeschiedener geht es kaum. Das alte Bauernhaus ist groß und trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Für Astrophotographen eine kaum zu toppende Unterkunft. Für Deep-Sky steht eine kleine Hütte mit auf Schienen gelagerten Dach zur Verfügung, das zur Seite geschoben werden kann und Windschutz gewährt. Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts lag der Spot nachts ausschließlich über der Wolkendecke. Ein altes, obwohl schön renoviertes Bauernhaus, ist natürlich kein Neubau, mit modernen Fenstern und Türen. Die Elektroheizkörper hatten Anfang Februar natürlich etwas Mühe das Haus gleichmäßig zu wärmen. War aber trotzdem noch akzeptabel.

• Marcel (8/5): Un paradis l’été pas l’hiver - Très belle maison canarienne avec de belles vues et très au calme mais très froide l’hiver donc doit être très agréable quand il fait chaud À cause du froid nous nous sommes installés dans le salon près du radiateur Il y a une baignoire mais impossible de la remplir car pas assez de pression d’eau Nous étions venus pour le roque de muchacho mais la route était fermée Il y a une machine à laver mais pas de produit nous avons acheté un bidon de lessive pour une machine Attention 300 m avant la maison il y a deux trous sur la route et de nuit impossible de les rater Les restaurants autour de la maison étaient tous fermés il faut aller plus loin donc penser à faire les courses avant il n’y a rien dans la maison

• Pieter (10/5): - Prachtig huisje vlak bij de Milky Way. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Doodstil 's nachts. Roque de los Muchachos gemakkelijk vanuit hier bereikbaar (half uurtje rijden). Talloze wandelingen in de buurt mogelijk. Neem wel voldoende boodschappen mee want er zijn geen winkels in de nabijheid.
• Marion (10/5): - Wir hatten das Pech, das wir bei herrlichem Wetter angereist sind und ab der Nacht die schlimmen Stürme mit katastrophalen Regengüssen und Nebel hereingebrochen sind. Wir waren daher nur eine Nacht in dieser Gegend
• Roland (9/5): Toplocatie, prachtige sterrenhemel - het échte La Palma - Een fantastische locatie, zeer geschikt voor mensen die graag de rust en stilte van het noodwesten van La Palma willen ervaren. Het huisje is nog vrij authentiek, met prachtige oude houten deuren en vloeren. Het past perfect in de omgeving. Er staat een soort "sterrenwacht" in de tuin met een afrolbaar dak en voorzien van netstroom. Ideaal voor astrofotografen of waarnemers met een telescoop op een hoog statief (ik heb zelf een lage Dobsontelescoop, daarvoor was de oprit geschikter vanwege het ruimere uitzicht rondom). Verbluffende sterrenhemel, geen enkele lichtbron in de omgeving. Ondanks enkele pijnbomen rondom blijft het zicht wijds: pal richting zuid kan er tot een verrassende 10 graden boven de horizon worden waargenomen. Richting west tot op de horizon. Verwacht geen superdeluxe modern huis, maar een eenvoudig, karaktervol en authentiek Canarisch huisje zonder poespas. (Voor wie het belangrijk vind: de WIFI was stabiel en snel) De waterdruk is erg laag. Om te kunnen douchen is het nog nét voldoende, maar het ligbad vullen is daardoor (helaas) niet echt een optie.
• BEATRIZ (9/5): - Una casita antigua arreglada, en una ubicación muy tranquila, con árboles frutales alrededor que pudimos disfrutar. Fuera hacía fresco y dentro de la casa se estaba muy confortable. Por la noche no hay nada de contaminación lumínica y se ve el cielo de noche de una forma espectacular, se ve la vía láctea perfectamente. El Anfitrión muy amable y flexible con la hora de salida, cosa que le agradecemos mucho. Repetiremos sin duda.

• Sonia (9/5): Una estancia de ensueño en mitad de la naturaleza - La naturaleza, el silencio y la desconexión. Nos pilló ola de calor, y la casa es calurosa en verano. El colchón de la cama grande, se hunde al centro, sería bueno cambiarlo.

• Lucian.u. (9/5): An excellent location for nature lovers. - The owners are very communicative and ready to help if needed. The location of the house is excellent for visiting the northwestern part of the island. Very close to the road that goes up to Roque de los Muchachos (a 20 min drive, compared to at least an hour if you leave from Santa Cruz). There are about 10 other houses within a radius of 3-500 meters, but the closest one is at least 100m away, hidden by trees, so you are practically in the middle of nature and, often, in the middle of the clouds coming from the north. This is a subjective answer, which may not apply to other travelers. I did NOT like the wind. It blew very strongly during our entire stay, making it impossible to use the astro equipment I brought. It was cold in the morning, but the house is at about 1000m altitude, so it is a risk assumed from the beginning. There were not many radiators in the house, but with a light sweater things were solved. Perhaps things change in the summer.
• Jing (8/5): A nice place to be! - It’s an old style countryside house located more 1100 meters above the sea level. It’s surrounded by big pine trees with a nice garden, and little but ocean view. It’s only about 35 mins to drive up to Roque de Los Muchachos from the house. We were there during full moon and it was a good spot to enjoy it. Believe it would be good for watching the stars too. We appreciate the owners preserve the traditional style of the house. - bedrooms and bathroom are in different floors - if water, oil and salt and be provided, it would be much more convenient for travelers
