- Rubén (9/5): Alojamiento sobresaliente, cena mejorable. Regresaré. - Prácticamente todo: las instalaciones, la ubicación, las vistas y la tranquilidad. La cena no estuvo a la altura del resto de la experiencia. Me pareció el punto más flojo de la estancia.

La chica que atendía en el desayuno en la terraza era EXCEPCIONAL. Al segundo día sabía lo que tomábamos y era súper amable. Mil gracias a ella si le llega esto. La ubicación era necesaria para tener esas vistas pero está lejos de todo.

- Eduardo (10/5): - Realmente todo, aunque igual destacaríamos el número de piscinas que tiene el hotel y que haya una en la que se pueda practicar nudismo Aunque la ubicación es espectacular, está lejos del casco urbano. Esto hace o que dependas del coche para todo o que te quedes en el hotel disfrutando de sus excelentes instalaciones

The buffet meals have a wide variety of everything and the staff are all so sweet and intelligent. Such gorgeous views in a very well set up hotel to fully feel that you are on vacation. Would definitely recommend and go again someday!!

Dommage également d’affirmer fièrement une éco-responsabilité poussée quand le restaurant ne propose que des bouteilles d’eau de 33cl (alors que les 1L sont présentes dans les chambres).

Kundenwünsche wurden sehr ernst genommen und für Abhilfe gesorgt. Sehr positiv!! Licht im Zimmer unzureichend, nicht lichtdurchflutet wie beschrieben. Leider meistens nur Einzelbetten verfügbar.

- Jorge (7/5): Una pena, podría ser espectacular pero no lo es - Tiene una de las mejores vistas de las islas. Parte del staff era increíble, especialmente las encargadas de actividades con niños. Nunca habíamos visto en un hotel que tuvieran tantas actividades infantiles a lo largo del día. Y además no eran encerradas en una sala, sino al aire libre. Es una propiedad magnífica… terriblemente gestionada. Las chicas del staff infantil eran muy buenas, pero el resto no estaban al nivel. Varias veces escuchamos quejarse unos de otros, para tomar algunas cosas en una piscina tenías que subir un montón hasta otra piscina, cobran el spa pese a no indicar el precio… Y el nivel del desayuno y cena es bajo. Es más cercano a un buffet de hospital que al de un hotel de categoría. En general da la sensación de haberse quedado a medio camino, de que no hay un equipo de gerencia o un director que cuide los detalles y que tenga motivado al staff.

- Elena (10/5): - Todo fue perfecto. Llegamos una hora antes y pudimos entrar a la habitación sin problema. Las instalaciones y la habitación son cómodas y muy limpias. Buena atención y el buffet tanto de la cena como del desayuno bastante completo. Se ha convertido en nuestro hotel favorito. Quizás si no has estado nunca es un poco difícil moverte dentro del hotel sin perderte el primer dia. Pero esta todo señalizado.

- Vanessa (6/5): Disappointing - Beautiful design as a whole. Beautiful and clean rooms. Nice infinity pool. Peaceful location. I understand the property has a eco minimalist design but made the place feel impersonal and unwelcoming. Not warm, friendly nor helpful service from the staff. Most staff did not speak a decent level of English so interactions were short, unclear and unfriendly. Horrible food at the snack bar and decent at Larrife at best. What I’m disappointed about the most is that the hotel clearly is trying to place itself in the high end/luxury category but the experience felt extremely subpar. Would have been happy with what I got if I was staying at a 3 start hotel, not a 4 star.
- Zuleica (10/5): IRREPETIBLE - Me encantó todo, una pena que solo pasáramos una noche pero tenemos claro que volveremos para poder disfrutar más de la isla y del hotel porque la verdad que está precioso además que totalmente completo como para no tener que salir de ahí, cuenta con mucha animación para todo tipo de edades, restaurantes súper completos y sus habitaciones están totalmente equipadas. Nos sentimos como en casa. Su personal muy profesional y amables, un 10!! Después de decir todo lo que me gustó, y me quedé corta.. está claro que no hay nada que no me gustase.

- Judith-Anna (2/5): Did not meet expectations - Breakfast and the view were nice, but many issues affected our stay. Several things in the room didn’t work when we arrived, including the TV and the safe. The open shower/toilet design left the whole room wet and foggy, and a flashing alarm light above the bed made sleeping difficult. We also heard strange noises at the door at night, which felt unsafe. At the pool around 16:00, no staff or lifeguard was available for towels. Pools are cold. Communication was difficult as most staff didn’t speak English, and even with our best Spanish we often couldn’t get help. The food looked better than it tasted, the pools weren’t heated, and the patios were so close you sit almost next to your neighbours. Checkout was handled poorly: we were laughed at for asking about card payment for the taxi, given wrong price information, and received no help when the taxi turned out to be cash‑only. We contacted the hotel afterwards to give them a chance to address these issues, but they did not respond in a helpful way. They just replied with some AI generated message. Overall, the service and comfort did not meet expectations.

- david (9/5): Enjoyed our stay, expensive for us but the standard reflects this. - The attempt of the building design to follow the contour of the slope, I. E. Not a high rise building, the green plantings that will eventually lessen the impact of the overuse of concrete /cement from the front elevation of the structure. Maybe the owners should have called it “The Hotel. Calefornia” refer Eagles lyrics from the 1970s 🎼 I think they should have better transport options for guests who do not have a car.

- Dr. Eckart (10/5): Sehr zufrieden - Wir waren im März 2026 spontan 6 Nächte im Bancal Hotel auf La Gomera. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Das Personal war ausnahmslos freundlich, zugewandt und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel selber sehr modern, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Vier saubere Pools. Mit dem öffentlichen Bus ist das etwas abgelegene Hotel sehr gut erreichbar. Der Bus fährt derzeit 6x am Tag. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 9. Stock mit "Gartenblick", trotzdem hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Von uns gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

The pools and spa were great - reception staff were notably friendly and helpful. Coffee could have been better, perhaps a pod machine in the room would hike this place up to a 10 out 10.

- Andrea (9/5): Wirklich ein tolles Hotel. Trotz der vielen Zimmer die angeboten werden verläuft sich das Ganze durch die tolle Bauweise - Tolle Lage, sehr große moderne Zimmer, alles sehr geschmackvoll angelegt.
- Astrid (3/5): Das solch ein Massenbetrieb, der mit scheinbar ansprechender Architektur lockt, nun auf La Gomera eröffnet hat, ist sehr - Die Pools Für solch einen massiven und vehementen naturplatz-raubenden Einschnitt in die Natur ein fehlgeleitetes Konzept. Denn entweder man möchte wirklich naturschonend vorgehen und Exklusivität anbieten, dann sind Preise um 200 € und mehr pro Zimmer durchaus gerechtfertigt. Oder aber man unterstützt den Massentourismus wie auf Teneriffa, wo Hotels von über 1000 Zimmern und All Inclusiv Restaurants zu finden sind. Dass solch ein Betrieb nun auf La Gomera geöffnet hat, ist sehr zu bedauern und sollte nicht unterstützt werden. Für den gehobenen Preis hätte ich mehr – vielmehr – persönlichen Service und Exklusivität erwartet. Anstatt dessen fühlte ich mich völlig anonym untergebracht in einer von mehreren wabenförmig angeordneten Zimmer Etagen. Der einzig persönliche Anspruch war mein Name auf dem Flachbildschirm im Zimmer. Und die gesamte Erscheinung samt kantinenartiger Restaurants und Buffets hat die Anmutung eines Massenbetriebs. Die einzige wirkliche Exklusivität, die dieser Betrieb hat, ist ein SPA Bereich, der aber 25 Euro extra für 1,5 Stunden für die Hotelgäste kostet. Der Checkin und der Checkout gestalteten sich schwierig, zeitaufwendig und kompliziert. Obwohl ich bereits zweimal online nach einer Rechnung um eine Rechnung gebeten hatte, wird mir diese selbst beim Check out nicht automatisch angeboten. Ich muss nochmals fragen. Das Personal scheint generell überfordert und dem Gast nicht wirklich zugewandt.

- Doris (6/5): Äusserst schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Zu weit vom Meer entfernt, zu viel Wind. - Sehr schöne Anlage, Zimmer, Aussicht. Grosszügige Poolanlage. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich, das Personal spricht jedoch sehr schlecht Englisch aber geben sich trotzdem grosse Mühe alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Zugang zum Meer fast nicht möglich. Sehr windige Lage. Für Badeurlaub ungeeignet.

- Michael (9/5): Top class resort hotel, without the sense of over-crowding, staff supremely helpful, good food - Very good buffet breakfast, good buffet dining, very comfortable room, excellent sea views (from our room), wonderfully helpful staff, a general air of relaxation, professionalism and efficiency pervades this fairly newly built hotel - we will return! The wind and rain on a few days, but this was cancelled by sunshine on others - plenty to do in this hotel if the weather is bad!

Het restaurant was vol ( hotel niet) wel was het buffet restaurant open een ongezellige kantine het eten was redelijk. Kortom een hotel waar je heerlijk slaapt goed bed douche heerlijk rustig maar ontzettend ongezellig.

- Paul (7/5): Comfortable modern hotel - we had a good experience but wouldn’t return. - Great spa and pool areas, very modern. Lots of car parking space. The location is spectacular right on the coast, but not great if you want to do anything else but sit by the pool. A car is essential. The restaurant choice is limited - it feels more like a conference centre. Also absolutely everything is on an app on your phone including menus and resort map which becomes a pain.

- Rolf (9/5): Genialer Urlaub - Die Anordnung, der Blick, das Personal, das Essen, der Wellnessbereich. Das einzig minimal zu bemängelnde ist die Lage, aber nicht wegen der Aussicht, die ist genial. Ein Mietwagen ist schon fast Pflicht. Es gibt Montags bis Samstags einen öffentlichen Bus und Sonntags einen Shuttle-Bus vom Hotel, aber man ist halt dadurch etwas eingeengt. Im Hotel kann man Autos von GomeraCars buchen. Preisgünstig und sehr tolles Personal von diesem Dienstleister.

- Juan Jose (9/5): Estupendas vacaciones. - Es un hotel nuevo, limpio, bonito y bien ubicado. Todo bien cuidado y el personal muy amable. Que el baño no esté separado del dormitorio. Es un poco desagradable compartir ruidos y olores cuando uno del huéspedes va al baño. Que no haya autoservicio de café en el desayuno, esperas por el café y no esta a mi gusto.

- Tiffany (8/5): Vistas increibles - Sus piscinas fueron, sin duda, lo más increíble de la estancia, con unas vistas espectaculares desde cualquier punto. Es un lugar que transmite calma y belleza estés donde estés. Como aspecto a mejorar, el servicio en Milana y en Guro Show no estuvo a la altura del resto del hotel. En varias ocasiones tuvimos que llamar para que nos atendieran y, en Guro Show, incluso tuvimos que levantarnos a pedir en la barra porque no recibíamos atención en mesa. Aun así, la experiencia general fue muy buena y volveremos sin dudarlo.
