The pub menu was good and the beer selection, was exceptional. The view from the window was bland and unattractive. If you had a garden of some sort in that area, it would be more attractive.

- Nancy (6/5): Okay in a pinch but not my first choice. - Breakfast was not included and seemed expensive so we went to Tim Hortons Requested ground floor as both my husband and I have a great deal of difficulty with stairs and especially carrying baggage up and down stairs. Receptionist apologized for not being able to honour our request because the hotel was fully booked by the time we arrived at 8 pm. But I requested this 2 weeks ago and gave my credit card to secure the reservation. Since I didn't cancel the reservation 24 hours ahead, I would have paid for the room whether or not we were able to use it according to booking info. I do not understand why a ground floor room wasn't therefore assigned at some point in the 24 hours before we arrived - since my credit card would be charged anyway. Additionally, I booked and paid for a deluxe double room for $292 and I don't think the room was at all deluxe.

Had originally booked 2 days for stay during the week but then extending it 2 more week days and we were charged more per day for the extra days - I felt we should have had a better rate for staying longer

- Renate (6/5): Für eine Nacht durchaus erträglich! - Die Lage ist optimal um Upper Canada Village zu besuchen. Es ist ein Conference Center, das die besten Tage hinter sich hat. Nettes Personal, unglaublich zugewandt. Netter Pool zum Abkühlen und eine typisch Canadische Kneipe/Restaurant.

We got the fish and chips but bill was a lot more than expected - didn’t eat there again

- Suzanne (10/5): Always.very comfortable and welcoming - We have stayed a few times on our way between toronto and the Eastern Townships in Quebec and we have always found the staff to be helpful and just delightful particularly Derek who has always remembered us when we have returned just once per year with a wonderful smile. It’s our comfort place to stay half way between Eastern Townships and Toronto. Everybody at reception, in the restaurant and the bar always make us feel so welcome with their lovely smiles and we have always found our room very clean and well cared for

- Sherri (10/5): On Our Way Home - Everything! This place is like stepping back in time for decor. The room was very clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom was clean! Staff are very friendly! It is a hidden gem! I like that there is a restaurant and pub on site. We had arrived later and wanted a cold beer and snack before bed. It did the trick! Definitely would stay there again! There is no elevator but that's ok. Not too many steps to the second floor. There wasn't anything I didn't like.

- COURTNEY (2/5): Awful. - Nothing. The staff weren't helpful, the facilities were uncomfortable and not clean. Everything. This place needs a serious revamp. I was especially excited to pay $11 for a glass of Sangria that was mostly pinapple juice topped off with less than 1/4 bottle of Boone's Sangria mix. You can buy the whole bottle at LCBO for $10. We were there for a wedding and had dinner in the restaurant, and loved having fruit flies in the drinks and the vinegar on the table.
