• Vincent (10/5): Quartier calme au coeur de la ville - L'hôte est adorable. Elle est toujours présente pour accompagner. L'entrée atypique par sa galerie d'art change du quotidien. Le quartier est relativement calme et très bien situé. Tout peut se faire à pied. Les deux chambres dans l'appartement étaient appréciables. Je recommande.

• Dan (1/5): Don't go there as solo traveller!! - Je n'ai rien aimé. Profondément décevant. La chambre ne ressemble en rien aux photos — petite, sale et d'un bruit insupportable. Une chambre dans cet état ne devrait pas être louée. En plus c'est magouiller les propositions de booking.com. Les voyageurs solo se la verront presque à coup sûr attribuer — ne prenez pas le risque.

• Rémi (8/5): - L'emplacement dans la vieille ville est pratique. Non-loin du théâtre de marionnettes. La propriétaire est accueillante. Les deux pièces sont appréciables car elles permettent d'avoir des chambres séparées ( plus d'intimité). La présence d'une table est pratique pour prendre des repas. Les lits sont confortables. L'ascenseur est une bonne chose. La rue est assez bruyante à certaines heures.

• Michael (5/5): You wont find it without Help. - The Location was great, 100' away from St Josephs Cathedral, Right in the Old Quarters. Has a good working A/C above bed, The views out the Window was actually pretty Good. Dropped of 25' away from entrance, got within 10' from it and still could not find it. Asking several people got pointed in to an Art Gallery. Well inside, there it was. Asked a Lady sitting inside and informed her of my Booking. Got looked over, she dug out some keys in a Box. I followed her up a flight of stairs to the Elevator. One of the most interesting entry to a unit I have experienced.

• Мария (8/5): Это хороший вариант по соотношению цена-качество. В самом центре! Для тех, кто ищет 2-комнатнын апартаменты в пешей дост - Отличное месторасположение! Это самый центр, у знаменитого собора. 2 комнаты с 2 большими кроватями в самом центре города и за такие деньги - это прям супер предложение. Мы к тому же были во время местного Нового года, когда цены везде завышают. Если вам нужны апартаменты для того, чтобы просто поспать, это хороший вариант. Очень милая и доброжелательная хозяйка. Не очень хорошо говорит по-английски, но с переводчиком в телефоне мы друг друга понимали. Помогла занести наши чемоданы. Очень жаль, что у нее вообще нет помощников, все делает сама и очень старается. В нашем номере был и чайник, и кружки, и набор чайных пакетиков, и даже рабочий стол. Хорошие удобные кровати. В Азии в целом по-другому относятся к чистоте. Так что это даже скорее норма, что было не совсем чисто. Хотя почти каждый день нам меняли полотенца. Но вот прям основательной уборки не хватает - протереть везде пыль, отодвинуть тумбочки и там тоже убраться. Одна комната у нас была без окна. Это некритично, но при бронировании мы этого не поняли. Света, соответственно, маловато было в одной из комнат. Тяжело было найти гостевой дом. На карте гугл обозначено другое место, здание с другой стороны. Мы чуть попереживали, когда приехали и не могли найти наши апартаменты. Ориентируйтесь на картинную галерею, такую небольшую на первом этаже. Вход еле заметный.

• The Hanh (9/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt in der Altstadt. In der Umgebung gibt es viele gute Restaurants, Cafes und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer hat 1 grosses Fenster und ist sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

• Paul (4/5): After getting off yoga bad start I made the best of it that I could - Central location Got off yoga bad start when the lady owner lied and said she only had one room. She showed mea small, street facing room on the top floor. I suggested she cancel the booking and I would look for another room. She then showed me the room I had booked which was filthy. I left for a coffee while she cleaned it. These owners must think it takes seconds to make a booking on this horrible app. Whereas it takes ages. The room still had hair on the floor when I returned. More appeared day by day!!! The entrance is through an art shop. Sound travels along the corridors and between floors. The family is loud. The landlady easy friendly until the last day when she gave a bottle of water. She even cracked a smile when I was leaving. It was a strange four nights staying there

• Martyn (8/5): Super stosunek jakości do ceny - Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny, pokój jest mały ale wszystko czego trzeba to ma, duże wygodne łóżko, czajnik, prywatna łazienka, w moim pokoju był też balkon. Do tego super lokalizacja, praktycznie przy samej katedrze. Przybyłem 2 godziny przed czasem i właścicielka przywitała mnie z uśmiechem, zrobiła kawę i poczęstowała słodkościami, pokój był gotowy na 13:00 czyli godzinę przed czasem. Jedyny minus to że na weekend w katedrze co jakiś czas biją dzwony i jeśli ktoś ma płytki sen to może się obudzić. Google maps źle pokazuje lokalizację tak jakby obiekt znajdował się po drugiej stronie ulicy, obiekt znajduje się po prawej stronie idąc od strony katedry, wchodzi się przez sklep z obrazami, obok znajduje się też salon masażu i biuro z wycieczkami.

• Muhamad Amzar (6/5): A simple, comfortable stay in a prime Hanoi location. - The location is excellent. It’s an easy walk to the lake and right next to the Old Church, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was good and came with all the basic amenities. The ac was cold, and the hot water worked well. Although there was no formal reception, the lady on duty was friendly and accommodating. The place is a bit tricky to find. Look for Anh Ngoc Gallery instead.
• Manuel (8/5): - La proprietaria è sempre stata disponibile, e cortese. Gentile e premurosa. Ci ha fornito l'acqua, e rifatto la stanza per tutto il soggiorno. Ci ha anche fatto trovare la stanza fresca. Fornitura anche degli accessori da bagno, e phon. Il bagno troppo piccolo, e la doccia non funzionava come doveva. La pulizia abbastanza migliorare, e troppe formiche in stanza. E tende poco oscuranti.

• Igor (9/5): - Chambre très agréable, confortable et calme, en plus d'un emplacement top. La dame qui reçoit ne parle certe pas beaucoup d'anglais, mais elle est très gentil et amicale, ce qui a une valeur bien plus grande.

• Martina (8/5): Suitable for budget travellers. - Excellent location. For those who do not want to spend much money and be in the city centre. The room is small as described. The bathroom is also very tiny, together with wc, but it is manageable considering the cost.

It's close to Old Town( 14 mins walk to Beer Street). Room is very small. There is no space for your language. It's ok for a single person, not good for couples.

• Fabian (1/5): Worst place we have stayed! Do not book - Nothing We only spent 5 hours and it was enough to want to leave as soon as possible. Everything was dirty and old. The shower was extremely dirty, the bed had hairs and stains, and the light switch covers were falling off and dirty. The room was completely different from the pictures and in a different building than the address. We didn’t complain as we needed a room to spend the night and it was New Year’s season. We booked there as we knew we were arriving very late and wanted to see the city at night. A very bad decision! Also, they don’t want to give you a receipt for your payment; we needed to ask for it.

• Nikolay (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean and situated right in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it easy to explore the area. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. On the day of our departure, we had a late-night bus scheduled for 9:00 PM. She kindly stored our luggage while we went on a day tour, which made everything so much more convenient for us. Highly recommend this place!"

• Terri (5/5): Do not expect anything but location & price - A friendly hostess. AC & fan worked. Best location, secuerd. No instruction so I got lost nearby, rang up and asked to pick me up. No such luck, asked local people around. Need to clearly indicate to find the art shop half under ground next to the hotel.

• Denise (4/5): I'm dissappointed - The location was great. And some staff members are very friendly. First, nobody knew about my arrival. Then I was taken with a motorbike to a location 5min away (one of the Pilgrim's Hotels). There I got a room that was unfortunately moldy, dark and wet. There was serious mold on the walls and even water dripping from the roof onto the bed and a puddle next to it. I then asked to change the room as I was really worried for my health when staying there. The only other option was in a different location for 300-400k vnd extra. Honestly, I felt a little scammed but I was tired and gave them another chance. Then we went to the next and third location (Pilgrim Boutique), where I got to rest in a very nice room - that I paid extra for... Wish this went differently. All throughout I got help by the owner's daughter who spoke immaculate English and was very friendly and helpful. Then I was offered a returner's discount if I would chose them again on my return 2 weeks later. I decided to give them another chance and asked if my return at x date with the discount was possible and I was assured, yes. I arrived and again didn't get what I asked for. I did not get the room for a discount but the exact same price. Only after tedious back and forth and explaining I finally got what I was promised. If the promised discount wasn't ok for them anymore they could have told me and I would have chosen a different place to stay. There are nice rooms available overall - but only if you're willing to spend a third of the price more. The overall organisation could have been much better. Some of the staff were very nice though.
