• philippe (7/5): Le séjour aurait été parfait sans ce problème d’eau chaude. - L’appartement est propre, spacieux, décoré avec goût et bien équipé. On a dû prendre une douche froide car la bouteille de gaz était vide. Manque de prévoyance du propriétaire qui aurait dû nous indiquer dès notre arrivée qu’il y avait une bouteille de rechange, où la trouver. Le propriétaire devrait également indiquer où est l’emplacement exact de la place de parking. Le mot de passe du wifi était faux

They hosts were exceptional! - The host was very kind and communicative and helpful in specifying the location of the apartment and parking. The apartment was clean and in a beautiful location. Since the location is at the top of a mountain, it was pretty chilly in the apartment. There was no means of heating the rooms. I had located a kerosene heater (which I have used before) but it only worked for a short time. Fortunately, there were very nice, heavy comforters for the bed. Ice cube trays were not available and only shampoo in the shower. Very little dish soap in the kitchen.

Pieejams viens eļļas sildītājs, kas nespēj sasildīt visu dzīvokli, tāpēc varēja uzturēties tikai vienā telpā un tāpat bija vēsi. Dušā ūdeni nevarēja normāli noregulēt un tam ir mazs spiediens. Dzīvoklim ir potenciāls, bet nekas netiek darīts, lai uzlabotu viesu uzņemšanu. Saimnieks piedāvaja iegādāties malku par 10 eiro - siltuma nodrošināšanai vajadzētu būt iekļautai cenā.

• XOKERU (6/5): CASA ACOGEDORA PERO NO INSONORIZADA. - Es un lugar agradable. Con una decoración muy acogedora y que cuenta con facil acceso a la carretera principal. Calle con aparcamiento (aunque sin salida y cuesta abajo). Deben revisar la caldera porque pasa de frío a calor continuamente. Se escucha TODO de la casa de al lado, aunque hablen bajo, imposible descansar. Faltan algunos utensilios de cocina. El casero te ofrece leña, pero no te advierte que es fría la casa. Hay ventiladores de techo pero no calefacción.
• Agnieta (3/5): - No recibimos indicaciones de cómo acceder al alojamiento hasta después de contactar nosotros con el alojamiento. Había pelos de otras personas en las mesitas de noche, así que no me pareció buena la limpieza. El agua de la ducha estaba hirviendo o congelada, no había punto intermedio. En la cocina, la placa de cocina era difícil de encender y no encontramos instrucciones, faltaba una bayeta para poder limpiar la encimera y la placa después de cocinar. Al salir del alojamiento, solicitamos la factura de la estancia, pero no han querido enviárnosla.

• Ward (9/5): Quiet and lovely stay. - It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed. We enjoyed our stay. Position is excellent. We couldn't access the Internet despite several tries.
• SOFIA (7/5): - Appartamento molto spazioso e comodo composto da zona giorno con angolo cottura, bagno e una camera di dimensioni generose. Posizione comoda per chi come noi si muove in macchina e vuole trovare parcheggio vicino lungo la strada. A piedi si raggiunge facilmente il centro di Gaucin. La cucina era molto grande ma con poche dotazioni, mancavano sale, zucchero e olio. Sarebbe comodo se ci fosse un tostapane.

• John Armitstead (8/5): - The apartment was small but generally well equipped and comfortable. It was very clean and conveniently located on the approach to Gaucin yet with only a short walk to the village. There was easy parking outside and driving through narrow village streets was not required. Prior information as to how to get into the apartment would have been useful. I do not believe that this was sent to me. I had to phone the owners and this was not easy as they did not speak English and my Spanish is very poor. The one main improvement would be decent Internet. Initially this did not register on either my phone or tablet, whereas there was a strong signal from the WiFi of the adjoining apartment. Not surprisingly I could not connect to this with the given password. Later I found a weak signal in the bedroom, where the router is located, and this did connect. The apartment is small and it should be easy to have strong WiFi throughout. The kitchen is well equipped but no basic provisions, such as tea and coffee, are provided.

• Alina (9/5): Una noche en Gaucin - Todo fue genial, el piso muy bien, limpio, bastante grande, facil de aparcar en la calle. Solo nos quedamos una noche para dormir y no usamos la cocina, pero parecia tener de todo. La cama es muy comoda. La comunicacion con el proprietario no fue muy proactiva, tuve que llamar para que me diese la informacion sobre el checkin, pero contesto de inmediato. Las vistas dan a una pared del otro edificio, asi que tiene poca luz y puede molestar para estancias mas largas.

Parking is a bonus and this location is so easy to get to without driving through the town, just park, drop your bags, and wander. A few hundred metres to walk gently downhill into the core of this beautiful village with stunning views along the way. The host is lovely and is reachable in minutes.
