• Jens (10/5): Prachtig verblijf met fenomenaal uitzicht en warme ontvangst! - Vooraf ontvang je voldoende en duidelijke informatie, wat de aankomst een stuk eenvoudiger maakt. Een 4x4-wagen is wel echt een must, aangezien de wegen naar de accommodatie in mindere staat zijn, al is dat op veel plaatsen in Costa Rica het geval. Voor we naar de accommodatie gingen, hebben we inkopen gedaan in de nabijgelegen supermarkt. Dat is zeker aan te raden, zodat je zelf je ontbijt en avondeten kunt voorzien. Het is absoluut de moeite, want het uitzicht is fenomenaal, met een prachtige zonsopgang en zonsondergang. Het zwembad is een groot pluspunt en maakt het verblijf extra aangenaam. De kamer zelf is netjes, modern en comfortabel. De gastheer verwelkomt je vriendelijk en voorziet je van de nodige informatie bij aankomst.

Gyvenamo čia 6 dienas ir kiekvieną dieną galėjome stebėti tucanus, beždžiones ir kitus gyvūnus bei paukščius. Apartamentai puikiai suplanuoti ir patogus. Viršijo visus mūsų lūkesčius. Šeimininkas Mattew - maloniai mus priėmė. Viskas patiko.
• Ken (10/5): Really enjoyed the area and the property. - Super views over the ocean, sufficient facilities for cooking. Very comfortable and private. Really great to have a swimming pool. Within reach of lots of lovely coastline, national parks and waterfalls (though Manuel Antonio was ridiculously busy). Plenty of wildlife to see around the property too! Nothing. Obviously people need to be aware that the road up to Tree Of Life is rough and steep but perfectly manageable in a 4x4. You need to let the housekeeper know if you want her services - if you miss her, leave her a message via Matthew.

• Jonathan (9/5): Fantastic few days in a beautiful location. - The host Matthew is fantastic. Communication was excellent and he was friendly and very helpful. The Cabinas were very clean, cool, spacious and comfortable. The shower was in the property but with outdoor views which was a lovely touch. There was a pool area with an outdoor kitchen which was great. And the views! Wow! Sea, sunsets and jungle. Couldn’t ask for more. Sorry to leave. Nothing really but definitely need a 4x4 car to access the property.
• Christoph (8/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Garten. - Sehr schöne Selbstversorger Unterkunft mit schöner Einrichtung, Terrasse und Outdoor Küche. Das Zimmer ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Alles, was Auto war, die Küche, die Terrassenmöbel sowie die Möbel im Poolbereich waren schon sehr abgenutzt. auf der Terrasse wäre ein etwas größerer Tisch und zwei Stühle schön, damit man dort auch essen kann und nicht zum Pool runterlaufen muss.

• Gilles (9/5): Amazing location in the middle of the jungle - Wonderful location and view. You get all the sounds from the jungle which one would expect. Access can be a challenge but that's part of the package and 'enjoyment'. Matthew who made us feel very welcome does state this very clearly so nothing to complaint about. View from our room was amazing, lovely swimming pool, we really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen cupboards were a little tired but not a massive issue.

• Jack (9/5): - The location is great, and the road to get up there is actually pretty fun; once you get used to it, you can move up and through it pretty quickly. 4x4 or high clearance is required. There's a very good restaurant within about less than ten minutes away. The noises of the jungle are really loud, and it's also very quiet at times and very dark. There's an awesome waterfall, just a few minutes away to swim in! No blackout curtains so it gets very bright in the A.M. After a day, I got used to the jungle noise, but it's very loud, which is also kind of great! While there were no issues with security, if the property was gated, it would feel a little more secure. The upper ledges and areas that are hard to reach could be cleaned better.

• Iker (9/5): - Las instalaciones del hotel son muy buenas y la tranquilidad que se respira encontrándose en la ubicación donde se encuentra es única. La habitación está muy bien cuidada y tiene la ventaja de tener una piscina magnífica. Por decir algo cuesta un poco llegar debido a la carretera, no recomendaría subir sin un 4x4. Pero supongo que aporta intimidad al lugar.

• Andrea (10/5): - Unbelievable host; he was very kind. When the lock on our cabin broke, he upgraded us to a better cabin. The view and pool are stunning; you can see the sun setting over the sea from the middle of the jungle, where the cabins are located. The rooms are beautiful, in my opinion, and the patio is very nice. Only advice: a 4x4 car is mandatory if you want to stay at this facility. I would recommend this stay. nothing

• Nancy (9/5): Quiet, Private, in the Mountains - Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. He provided answers and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was great! At night there's a nice breeze if you leave all the windows open. We saw Toucans building a nest and discovered a hidden waterfall. Make.sure you have a 4x4!!! I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like. The cabana had everything we needed. That said, the property is starting to show its age.
• Kyrissa (8/5): A secluded escape up in the mountains with an ocean view - We loved how secluded and private it was - with breathtaking views and coffee with our toucans in the morning. The pool was so nice and refreshing after a day of exploring. So peaceful and tranquil We loved everything about it - just note there isn’t a gate but security wasn’t an issue. Being so high up, fans were enough to keep us cool as well.

• Bradley (10/5): Up a huge hill then higher - Tree of Life is there - We arrived during a down pour and we couldn't have had a better greeting our host was very pleasant and gave us an umbrella to use. We enjoyed our stay even though it was raining. We ate our dinner by the pool which was perfect. We were only there one night, but wish we could've stayed longer, it was a beautiful area and we didn't get to see the view because of the rain, but can only image what the view is from there. It's a gorgeous setting.

• Avital (10/5): Loved this place - First of all Matthew the host is such a nice guy, helpful and there for any questions. Second of all it’s in an amazing location, beautiful views, quiet and so peaceful with nature surrounding you you really get the feel of being in Costa Rica I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed our time! Definitely needs a 4x4 to get to the place however it’s recommended to rent a 4x4 in Costa Rica no matter where you go because of the roads.

• Carolyn (10/5): Beautiful setting and home, peaceful get away up in the mountains with a lovely view - The property is beautiful and peaceful - I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying a quiet morning on our porch, looking for birds, doing yoga (mats provided in the room), and just chilling out, while my boyfriend made coffee in the outdoor kitchen. The air up here was cooler and not too buggy, which was very pleasant after our first night down at the coast! We were just there for one night but definitely would have enjoyed a bit more time here! While there we enjoyed visiting nearby waterfalls as well as an awesome coffee tour at Cafe Don Emilio. Thankful my partner was driving and not me :) The road is fine but you do need to be prepared to be driving a steep road for a bit from the main coastal road! (as they say, have 4WD!)

Enjoyed the nice pool & surrounding area. Plants were beautiful. Enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the trees. Peaceful location. It was very hot when we were there in March & there was no air conditiong. Outdoor shower needed to be cleaned as there was bat/bird poop on the wall.

• Fleur (10/5): Secluded & Peaceful location in the jungle but still close to town - We loved that the location seemed secluded and had Fanta tic views right in the middle of the jungle, but was only about 15 minutes from the nearest towns, one in each direction of the highway. Our Cabana was very comfortable and great seating for just hanging out in the morning & evening’s listening to the wildlife that surrounded you. Having a pool on site was a huge bonus and we used it everyday. The owners provided fresh frozen fruit every day and we brought a couple of things to add to our morning smoothie for breakfast. It was perfect! We loved having some dogs and cats around too! Nothing
• Evan (6/5): Checked Out, just a room with no service - The property is in a pretty location, the cabin is well appointed and a nice size and the outdoor kitchen is useful. They never responded to my multiple attempts to speak with them via the website or WhatsApp to ask for some advice prior to arriving for my partners 60th while in Uvita, yet very quick to try and sell us property several mentions of this. Left me feeling a bit off. The property was tired, grubby and several things didn't work like the hairdryer and it was not allergy free so just be aware if you have issues. Bed was firm/extra firm and tired. I think they sold the property and checked out. Outside furniture was dirty at the room and the pool, I love dogs but muddy feet all over guest furniture is just poor form as is lack of maintenance of mould. Overall we were left feeling a little bit abandoned, as I had hoped to get some help just on some basic advice to make my partners birthday special as I did not know the area.

• Tim (10/5): Amazing - A beautiful accommodation in a beautiful area. The cabin is amazing with a fully stocked outdoor kitchen. The views are breathtaking, right in the jungle with ocean views. Ben and Nate are great hosts, they made us feel very welcome and even had some delicious banana bread for us with check in and every morning fresh cut up fruit to make smoothies. Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if you’re going in the Domincal/Uvita area. The location is perfect to visit both places from
