Guest Reviews
- Guest (8/5): Other than climbing stairs, everything was good. - It was clean and spacious.
Being near to metro underground , it was quite convenient to go anywhere. It was on the 3rd floor and moving up if you have lots of luggage is not easy. I already had sprained ankle at that time which made it even more difficult. They should actually mention that on the booking site.
- Oleta (3/5): Profiling before booking. - The location Much smaller than expected, and the owner was extremely unprofessional.
I booked the property for a temporary emergency stay. However, the owner showed no understanding and instead used “Carnival weekend” as justification to demand an additional last-minute deposit, starting at £500 insisting it be sent directly to their account rather than through Booking.com. This was later reduced to £300, which I paid immediately.
I left the property in immaculate condition, as agreed, but the refund that was promised for the following day never arrived.
- alex (7/5): Lovely place, great location for my trip, needs attention to detail. - The bed was really comfy, the view from the kitchen was nice, there was lots of natural light and the decor was lovely. The host/owner was really nice and communicative. Really close to the tube and to the Queens Park area which I love. It needs attention to detail. I made the host aware and he was nice and apologetic. But we got there to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes and there were no dishwasher tablets available so we couldn't run it ourselves either. There was only less than half a loo roll left and we had a 3 night stay. The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were empty. There was only one towel per person, not even a hand towel.
I needed to do laundry as it was a stop over in-between travels for me, and there was no drying rack available. Which is fine as I just laid my stuff around the flat, but not ideal. And the cupboard under the sink where the cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, etc are, is really messy.
It feels like the place is nice and has potential but the cleaning staff needs to be changed.
- Kirsty (6/5): Chaotic; the hosts contact number is not the number on the listing. When asked to send photo ID to this other number, I - Good location; closer to Queen’s Park tube station than anticipated and a good variety of local shops/restaurants. It looks different to/is not as nice as the pictures; some of the furniture/decor has changed, there is no blind in the kitchen and there was no microwave which had apparently broken on the previous stay, and had miraculously been taken away ahead of our stay yet the broken mop in the carrier bag on the balcony had not.
It was a super hot weekend and the apartment was boiling, there is no air con but no fans were provided either.
The cleanliness was not up to scratch; work surfaces etc. are stained which would come out with a proper scrub. There was also a pair of boxer shorts screwed up in the bottom right hand corner of the wardrobe…
You have to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment and you have to collect/drop the keys off at a local shop.
The boiler was switched off when we got there and I had to contact the host regarding the lack of hot water in the shower.
- Andras (5/5): Passable - The apartment has a great location, bus stops, metro station, grocery shops, cafes are in walking distance and it's very close to the city centre. There is a washing machine (with dryer) in the apartment which was an advantage. It's comfortable for 4 adults for short stays. We couldn't check-in earlier than 3 pm as it was supposedly being cleaned. When we collected the keys and got into the apartment we were in shock. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, leftover food in the fridge, sticky floor and coffee table, ants everywhere; just to mention a few things. We immediately contacted the host about the situation who offered to send back the cleaner or give us a full refund. As we were extremely tired of walking all day already, we didn't want to start searching for another accommodation and definitely didn't want another round of cleaning in this quality. We asked for some cleaning supplies and a mop which the host arranged quickly via deliveroo and cleaned the apartment ourselves (it took us max 30 minutes..). Even though the level of cleanliness was below any standards, the host was responsive and helpful.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - you have to pick up the keys and return them in a different location
- Stefania (7/5): Nice apt with dining room missing! - The apartment is nice, sunny and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The landlord is nice and available for every needs! It is not suited for 4 people. Even if there is a separated bedroom and a sofa bed, the apartment has no dining room, nor chairs or table where to eat.
If there are 4 guests and 2 of them are sleeping on the sofa, there is basically absolutely no space to eat. This causes major inconveniences, for instance, all our clothes had to be constantly on the floor due to the lack of furniture (and space) in the living room area.
Moreover, for hygienic reasons, the sofa should be equipped with bedsheets which we did not have (only duvet).
- Baris (8/5): Very good -
- Bartosz (9/5): Superb - I loved the location of the apartment - 2 minute walk to the underground and overground station with easy access to the centre (still within Zone 2). Additionally, there were a couple of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Nothing, it's all good.
- Abdul (10/5): Had a good stay at this apartment. Very clean and comfortable as the living room was a nice set up. Tv had streaming ser - Very clean and comfortable
- Thomas (2/5): Only actually slept there, you couldn’t relax & chill as it was too small & uninviting - The location Not very clean, shower broke, rancid smell when I opened the fridge door. To class it as sleeping 4 adults is stretching it, really small apartment.
- Timothy (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment great location
- Moira (9/5): Superb -
- Roz (9/5): Excellent place for a stay in Queens Park - It was clean and smart with everything we needed. The bedroom was comfortable and bathroom was good. The sofa bed worked well too. Location was perfect for our family weekend. Nothing
- Brad (8/5): Very good - Was very clean and tidy. Nice and quiet location with a short walk to bus stop and train station Light coming through the kitchen window early in the morning, waking you up if you were sleeping on the sofa bed
- Jalen (10/5): As close to a perfect stay as you can get! Will absolutely be on the lookout next time I am in London - Everything was exceptional! The space was the perfect amount of room for a single traveler, or a couple, and all the amenities were top notch! Hazem was an incredible, thoughtful host and made sure the stay was as comfortable as can be! N/A, everything was great!
- Csharp (9/5): Superb -
