• DAVID (3/5): - The terrace was quite nice to sit out on but you do get quite a bit of noise from the road outside. Unfortunately our toilet became blocked on the second day. We spoke to the receptionist and he said a plumber would come and sort it out. We waited in for two hours but no-one came. I went back out to speak to him but he had gone home. The evening guy said no-one will come tonight, but a team of men with a big machine are coming tomorrow to unblock the drains. We then new that there was a problem with the drains in the ground floor. The guy said we could use a toilet in the foyer. I messaged the host to notify and ask about another problem with the shower. She replied with the answer about the shower. The next day came, we went out for the morning and came back to the men and their machine. They were sucking out the drains to the other apartments, so felt relieved that the problem would be sorted so we went back out and came back in the evening to find out toilet was still blocked. The reception guy that I spoke to was walking around with the men earlier. He KNEW our toilet was blocked but did not ask them to unblock it for some reason. We were angry but did not want to waste anymore of our holiday time reporting and waiting in for someone to sort it out so we decided just to use the communal toilet for the remainder of our 5 day stay. The host did not get back to us to ask if the problem had been sorted. Two days later, the evening before we were due to go home our toilet miraculously started to flush again. I assume someone else had complained near us that the problem was not fixed and someone came around while we were out. It didn't ruin our holiday but did cause stress and inconvenience for us. I didn't want to give a negative review of this apartment but other people need to know what they could be getting into.

• MARIA (7/5): Disfrute familiar y entornos bonitos - La temperatura, la limpieza, la ubicación del apartamento, la coagidad con nuestra botellita de vino y productos de mi tierra como el aceite y la atención del señor de la recepción, fue genial. La dueña estuvo atenta y correcta mediante contacto a través de corrreo. La masificación de personas en los entornos y de la playa pero era algo con lo que ya contaba que podía ocurrir

• Marieke (8/5): Very good - Very easy, very friendly, good communication, upon arrival a bottle of wine was waiting for us and water in the fridge. Appartement is walking distance to the beach and shops & restaurants. The shower is a bit old. Bathroom floor gets wet everytime you take a shower.

• Martina (10/5): Relaxing week at Downtown holiday home - Amazing hosts. Beautiful modern apartment on the edge of playa del ingles, so peaceful but only a few minutes stroll from some lovely restaurants & the beach. A spar supermarket around the corner & less than a 10 minute stroll to more restaurants, shops & bars. Very comfortable beds, we were a family of 3 & it was perfect for us but a 4th person could comfortably fit on the sofa bed which is a proper pullout bed. Large balcony which was lovely to sit out in the evenings after returning from dinner & drinks or to have your meal for a night in, the apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday as some nights we just wanted to relax after our showers so cooked or went just to the outside of the building where there is a nice chicken place that also does burgers & pizzas or on the corner of the building restaurant Bambino who were happy to do any of their dishes to takeaway. The pool is fab, spotless clean & the water was a nice temperature too & always sun loungers available no matter what time we went out to the pool even though there is not a huge amount of loungers. The balcony gets the sun from about 3:30 in the afternoon so I enjoyed a few hours there some days when my husband & son just wanted to relax in the apartment after pool & lunch, there are no sun loungers on the balcony but the dining table chairs were comfortable for relaxing in the sun, just popped a towel over the cushions. There is lots of storage , a large double wardrobe in the single bedroom with hanging space & drawers on the bottom & large slide robe in the double bedroom along with a tall chest of drawers & bedside lockers with drawers so plenty of space for your clothes & belongings. The bathroom also has plenty of storage. Air conditioning in living area & double bedroom plus a tower fan for the single room which kept the apartment lovely & cool when on. Nothing, everything was perfect.
• Chapa (7/5): Good, but could be improved with a few basic provisions - Great pool and a convenient location. There was plenty of space and the terrace is shaded in the day, so it doesn’t get too hot and is a nice place to sit. The host provided a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. Missing some basics. There was not enough salt, oil, etc. for the stay, we were provided with a few sachets on check in, but this was enough for a day or two. Only one toilet roll was provided. Disposing of rubbish was tricky as the only disposal on site is for organic waste, and only one bin bag was provided for a 2 week stay. Beds and pillows were particularly uncomfortable.
• Alan (4/5): Unacceptable that they knew the pool would not have been ready but still look our money before informing us of the situa - Location Being told a day after we paid that the swimming pool would not be available as being refurbished and we were offered 10% discount By this time it was too late to book anywhere else and we would have lost our money. The terrace in the front of the apartment did not get any sun so it meant we had to go out every day to find somewhere to relax in the sun. We were offered to use another pool which was 5 minutes drive away but again meant we had to go out every day
• Keith (10/5): An amazing holiday! - And the apartment had a lot to do with that. We have just returned from two weeks, me my wife & our son who has cerebral palsy, in a wheel chair for all his mobility. The whole apartment was disabled friendly for our needs & was very clean with plenty of space & had everything we needed for our stay including a washing machine on the patio. The patio, facing the Gran Canaria hills was great & a lovely size, not much direct sun in November but there were plenty of other places to go for the sun during the day. At night the patio with its six place table & chairs was a beautiful place to relax after an evening out & the location of the apartment meant there was no shortage of bars, places to eat & entertainment almost on your doorstep. We had two minor problems with the apartment during our two week stay & both were resolved straight away by the contacts we had for the apartment & the reception staff, who were all absolutely brilliant. A massive thank you! :)
