Guest Reviews
- John (8/5): Very clean and exactly as advertised. Only area where improvements can be made are with ammenities. - Staff were exceptional and very accommodating No wine glasses
No toaster
No large fry pans
More crockery and cutlery
For people who like to prepare their own meals in house.
- Donald (7/5): Very good value for small group - Great location, comfortable living space Had to call twice to get paper towels, Kleenex and washcloths
- Elena (8/5): Very good -
- Marylou (6/5): Beautiful condo but bad communication. - Location was great to go on the cruise. The communication was absolutely terrible getting our check in instructions.
I booked through booking.com and I certainly would never do that again.
The condo was beautiful, and communication was terrible. I found it very stressful
not know what the heck I was doing before travelling to Vancouver. All this money out of my account but no communication!
- Martijn (9/5): Perfect! - Very clean property and helpfull personel.
Nothing bad about the apartement.
I saw some remarks on the location and the fact there were homeless people on the street. Yes there were homeless people in the street but we never felt unsafe. Like any other big city it exists. - Kevin (9/5): Property good, entry tricky. - Views and location. The fact that booking.com blocks important links to entry instructions, necessitating alternative email/txt between parties. So at the point of access the information is in 2 places. Causing delays and misunderstanding 😕
- Arfon (9/5): Superb -
- Mathew (10/5): Comfortable and really convenient location - Really great accomodation, walkable to everything. Having two bathrooms was a real plus. Thank you, we had a great time and found this accommodation very comfortable.
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (9/5): Beautiful short-stay suite, downtown Vancouver - Beautiful, 2 bedroom with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Property uses a separate communication service called Boarding Pass. You receive a text and need it before arriving and again upon arrival. It’s not integrated into booking.com, so when I needed instructions to get the key, I was stuck. I wish there was a sentence or two in the booking.com ad to say what to do if you lose that text.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The condo was brand new with all the bells and whistles that implies...new everything. Plenty of space for our stuff. My friend had her own bedroom and a bath and so did I. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, though the microwave did quit working mid-stay. (We left a note.). The AC worked beautifully. Excellent washer/dryer in the unit. Nice touches, like a full-length mirror, black-out blinds, toiletries, even a little sewing square! I liked the security that the fob provided. The condo is close to the convention locations we attended (Convention Centre and BC Place), as well as Gastown. There's some homelessness in downtown Vancouver, but those folks were busy with their own agendas, definitely did not hassle us, and were friendly if we said "hello." All in all, this was a very good experience for us both and a comfortable time in Vancouver. All in all, it was great! Wish there was staff at the building 24/7.
- Todd (8/5): Very good - No parking even safe secure public 24 hour parking
- Shannon (7/5): I’m not one to leave reviews but I thought that this was necessary.we traveled to Vancouver from the US for a weekend co - The apartment was very nice and clean. It had most of what we needed. The only thing it did not have was a regular good old fashion coffee maker (not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have). Otherwise, the apartment was nice. There are a lot of homeless in the area. They are not harmless like the people who own the property claim. Do not leave your stuff in the car. If need be request a late check out even if you are in a secure parking garage. They will break into your car and steal your stuff.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tetiana (7/5): Good -
- Harsha (10/5): I would recommend it. Overall a good property with good staff and safe area. - New, clean, location, good bathrooms and good beds. Very responsive staff. One bedroom too small. The surrounding stores are out of business so the are is rundown.
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Kakigori (8/5): Comfortable and pleasant place with a great location! - Great location with a lovely terrace. The washing machine and dryer were much appreciated, the A/C had controls in each room which meant that everyone could have their preferred sleeping temp. Overall it was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. Small quibble, but the parking guide needs to be updated as one of the lots were closed, and the other (easypark) didn't have a working machine, and their app was broken. We used street parking, which was quite reasonable.
- Laura (9/5): Great beautiful and comfortable condo for families. Very convenient for Cruisers. - The host was always available, answering very fast and always very helpful. The staff at the location was very nice. Very Safe inside Condo. Everything close distance and convenient. Condo and views are Great! Location is good, very close to most tourist attractions but be aware of the new social environment of Downtown Vancouver.
- Anonymous (1/5): very disappointing - This is a small apartment located in a declining area of Vancouver. The apartment itself is OK -- clean and newly renovated The apartment is located on a street with homeless encampments. Most of the local businesses have closed. My family and I did not feel safe on the sidewalks. We had expected a walkable location and opportunity to use the kitchen facilities. Instead we had to leave the area all day and travel via Uber. We were not informed of the homeless problem until 2 days before our arrival, far too late to make alternative arrangements. This is a form of "bait and switch" which should not be allowed on booking.com
- Kunal (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (10/5): Great apartment - Great apartment. Lots of room, excellent location, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen well appointed. Great laundry facilities too. Nothing. It was great.
- Frank (10/5): Exceptional - Modern and very clean. Conveniently located close to the downtown plus all forms of public transportation. I travel extensively and this is one place that ranks highest recently.
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Fleener (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (2/5): Sleepless nights due to noisy, drunk and drug affected homeless people. - The amenities of the apartment and that it was clean. The fact we were told prior to check in that the homeless were residing opposite the apartment. They maybe harmless BUT they are noisy all night long. Music with a boom box, yelling and screaming for hours on end meant that we had disrupted sleep. Very noisy. The outlook meant we had to close the blinds as
the activities occurring in the accommodation opposite were unsavory.
Overpriced for location and ruined our first stay in Vancouver. We feel ripped off as we should have been told of this before paying upfront.
- Sandy (8/5): Very good - No matter the room or the bed is so cozy and pretty nice sunshine. The place is in downtown and so many wanderers and too much shit in that area, you have to very careful when you walk in that street.
- Anonymous (8/5): Weather good and sightseeing excellent. - The location was very worrying, but security of the property was excellent. Breakfast was not supplied. I would suggest that a grab rail be fitted in the bathrooms, and also to supply a bath mat.
- Navin (9/5): Outstanding - It’s location and amenities. And additionally very clean and secure. Drug addicts right in front of your balcony and window.
- Mark (8/5): Compact but well appointed 2br apartment in Gastown - Nice new apartment close to the waterfront
Agent in the office in the lobby was very helpful, even thoughhe didn't manage this apartment Across the road is a gathering site for homeless, although they didn't directly bother us.
Check-in instructions were not sent through to booking.com which complicated check-in
- Tania (9/5): Superb - Beds were very soft, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Outdoor furniture would have been nice on patio and maybe a BBQ.
- Ramesh (4/5): Pretty average quality apartment. - The location of the apartment. It's close to downtown Vancouver in a security block. The second bedroom with an ensuite is crammed with a double bed. The ensuite bathroom had no privacy as the existing door appears to be removed and replaced with a curtain. Never seen such a strange configuration. The toilet roll is almost behind your back. Very uncomfortable 😣.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Beds were comfortable. The unit had a nice terrace/balcony. Location was central and good for exploring the city.
- Spina (6/5): Clean and comfortable.... - It was clean and comfortable It was inconvenient having only one fob.
It was uncomfortable having people looking straight into the living area as the blinds were not blockout.. There was a lack of privacy for us and the people living directly across. We were only made aware of the type of location shortly before checkin.
- Folake (8/5): Home away from home - Very easy
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Great location, an easy short walk to Cruise ship and catch buses and train. Well-appointed new apartment We had conformation for an earlier check in but this was not the case, when someone finally let us in after some time waiting, infact we weren't even listed as checking in that day but they did find us a room eventually for a later check in. The office is not full-time manned, and you can't get in the building until someone arrives, no set times.
We were 2 couples doing different activities at times and only one key was available for us which is needed to enter the building, lift and room. This made it very difficult for the couple that didn't have the key.
- Wayne (8/5): Pleasant. Easy access to downtown - Close to waterfront Confusion with booking in times
- Norma (6/5): Once inside the appartment was great. Unfortunately I never received the address and check in indetails upon check in - Lovely well kept and clean property. Location was in very close proximity to all major attractions in the city, but was across the road from a homeless shelter with many homeless people sleeping on the street and was quite confronting as they approached asking for money or food. Very poor communication from property manager who did not send check in details or return phone calls when I was desperately trying to get in.
- Peter (7/5): Nice but very under appointed apartment - Location. Cleanliness. Only one key - made it difficult as we were 2 couples. No bathroom door on one bathroom. Very short on some kitchen items. Only 3 cups for a 2 bedroom apartment. Bath towels would not cover a 5 year old. Instructions on how to empty bins for checkout and take downstairs was offensive. This is what you have cleaners for. Then to have an envelope on the kitchen bench for tips for the cleaners…….. please! I feel from other reviews that the owners are not overly interested in addressing these shortfalls. Would not recommend staying here as 2 couples for more than a night or two max.
- Reza (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (9/5): Perfect base to explore Vancouver. - Great location, everywhere is walkable, super clean, quiet, big shower, everything worked well, awesome terrace, private, high quality bed linen and towels, lots of light, comfy sofa & beds. Would totally recommend for a stay in Vancouver and would rent again. No terrace furniture to enjoy the large terrace. Kitchen a little lacking in simple things like a chopping board (they kindly dropped one off), peeler, grater. Things that cost a few $ and make a huge difference if you're cooking. No private parking however plenty of public parkades within a few minutes walk. We used Indigo which was only $30 for 24hrs and for loading and unloading luggage, there's street parking literally around the corner so not an issue.
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Well equipped, great patio area , more then helpful host. Definitely would recommend
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (9/5): The location is very central, apartment clean and comfortable. - The place was very comfortable and clean. As a new rental, we did find a few things missing. Would be a 10/10 if the following items were added: salt and pepper, pasta strainer, hand soap in the bathrooms, more dishwasher soap and toilet paper.
- Carol (9/5): Superb -
- Kwokwing (7/5): Good -
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great, close to Gastown and many landmarks Because it stayed in the heart of city so parking is confusable and many homeless around. But no worry, they are just okay.
- Norma (7/5): Everything else about the apartment was excellent. Very modern, clean beds and very comfortable manager/owner was ve - Close to everything we needed to go to. Very modern and good clean beds. The manager/owner was very helpful regarding any questions I had and responded right away. Master bathroom sink counter had a glob of goop on it and 2nd bathroom sink counter was sticky. No parking for reasonable price.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harvey (9/5): Superb -
- Brooke (8/5): Very good - Hard to get in at first
- Bernhard (9/5): Cool apartment for up to 3 students / colleagues. - All facilities as promised, nice and clean. WLAN okay. Pictures in booking.com are 100% correct. 1) The apartments are NOT AT THE PLACE that was indicated in the map of booking.com. It was more than three blocks away. Since I chose the place for its position very close to the convention center, such imprecisions are very annoying.
2) We were 3 colleagues in each apartment, but they only had one key per apartment. On request, we got a second one, but not a third one.
3) The couch in the living room was not prepared as bed, even though it was clearly booked for 3 guests. We had to do that ourselves after claiming the respective material.
- Amani (9/5): Inreally loved the experience, - Clean and comfy Not about the apartement but presence of Homeless on front of the building
- Yeou (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (1/5): Bad - The check in was terrible. Someone was in our supposed assigned room. Then the available room was nothing like the pictures. It had 2 single beds in one tiny room when we specifically asked for 2 queens in 2 separate bedrooms. Terrible checking in experience and not organized at all
- Maia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxime (9/5): Superb -
- Shayne (8/5): Very good - We could not get an earlier checkin because of a previous guest, but we could not get a late check out because cleaners didn’t want to reschedule
- Kate (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and well appointed. Location - neighbourhood was confronting and left us concerned for our safety.
Transactional nature of all the online systems was impersonal and at times was concerning for our privacy.
The shower curtain in the ensuite fell down and needed replacing on several occasions.
- Mark (7/5): Good - Very nice new large apartment and bedrooms on opposite side so private and meant we had our own bathrooms. Great washer/drier which we used to dry our wet clothes (rain, rain, rain!). In the en-suite bedroom you had to step over a step on one side of the bed. Stubbed my toe twice in the night when waking to use the loo. Also, there is no door on the bathroom of the en-suite bedroom, just a curtain that you pulled over. Not private at all when using the toilet. Shame as a door could be hung quite easily. Location although central was on a street with lots of homeless. Obviously not the owners choice but a little disconcerting walking home at night.
- Hermi (9/5): Not bad - Properly orient visitor about the parking and access.
We spend 1 hr driving around to look for parking & the key fob.
- Frazier (4/5): Would not stay again. Overpriced to be in crackhead central. - New View of crackheads from the living room, junkies hanging out across the street from entrance to building. The couch was tiny and uncomfortable, there was no "cable tv" only netflix etc.. No facecloths in bathrooms. Human hair on towels. No complimentary coffee.
- Krystal (8/5): Beside the basic missing items and the homeless shelter across the street, the place is beautiful place to stay - New and comfortable place to stay. Missing basic items for kitchen (salt, pepper, sugar, oil, dishwasher and dish soap), bathrooms (hand soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and only 1 fob for family of 5. Some of these items were delivered 1 / 2 days later, but wish all items were there upon checkin or should be informed at time of booking for planning purpose before arrival.
- Ger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - No Parking on site. It was around the corner at a car park so a bit expensive.
- Erika (10/5): Exceeded - We stayed here for the final Taylor Swift concerts in December 2024 and it was an EXCELLENT location -- we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do -- all of our restaurant reservations, touristy stuff, and the stadium/waterfront.
The apartment itself was so great and we were happy to each have our own bedroom AND bathroom. It was a quiet building and we had all of the amenities we needed. The main living space was big and we were able to really spread out all of our stuff.
Also, we had many many questions for our host, who was the quickest to respond of any host I have ever communicated with through the app around the globe (I travel all over, a lot). They were great!
- Priscilla (10/5): Really enjoyed it and would stay there again! - Everything was fantastic, it was so easy to find, to get the keys, it was so clean and beautiful. We would stay there again and definitely recommend it. The building across the street was a sad sight with the homeless people but that had nothing to do with the space.
- Jacqueline (9/5): I would highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay and would do it again when in town. - The location was fantastic! Apartment was close to many shops, restaurants and arena. The property was new and very clean, check in was quick and easy. Street noise from emergency/police vehicles.
- Frida (8/5): Good but can improve - Location was great , comfortable and trendy space , I loved it! It was dirty , as in cleaners really left hairs on floor and tooth paste on the sink. Towels were also stained.
- Mohammed (9/5): Superb -
- Bob (1/5): Bad - We arrived in the late night with a 11 year boy, the apartment locked the key in the room, and we couldn't get into the room, we called the customer service and waited there for one hour, nobody come to help us at all, and at last when it was almost 1am next day, they asked us to book another hotel by ourselves, because they accidentally locked the key in the room. and even until now I didn't get refund! that was the most horrible experience I have ever had. We went there for my son's birthday, and this was such a bad experience for the whole family! I would remind all the guests who may see this, stay away from this property, that was horrible! - Cindy (6/5): Lengthy and Difficult Check-in and Not Cleaned - The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an in-unit laundry, temperature control, and decent wifi service. The walk-in shower was spacious, and the host provided 3 umbrellas for rainy days. The location was close to the shopping district and food. Arrived outside the property around 10:00 pm. The check-in process took over an hour, and it was a resident who eventually let us into the building and a different resident who helped us access the elevator with his key fob to get onto the right floor. The host was unavailable to pick up the phone at this time. Cleaning service never came to clean up after the last resident, so the sheets were not washed either, and there was hair all over the bathroom floor, sink, and toilet. The beds were advertised to be queen size, but it only felt like full-sized beds. The water pressure for the sink and shower were both very low. Outside the building, there were several homeless people across the street loitering and participating in suspicious activities.
- Derek (8/5): Very good - No parking was a little unfortunate but awesome place
- Jay (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (4/5): Do not stay here. Poor location. Poor host. - The property itself was nice, modern. A good choice for two couples traveling together. We arrived late, at 11:30pm. We could not enter the apartment building because the instructions provided by the host did not work.
The apartment is located in front of a shelter. There were people congregated on the street, using their choice of drugs.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Keelan (9/5): Superb -
- Shelley (10/5): Good location, fabulous comfortable beds, clean, fresh, new. Very safe and secure. - Beautiful apartment with all facilities; great view of harbour; good location and easy walk to harbour. Managing to get entrance to the property was a challenge as we didn't have internet access via phone when we arrived. When we did get access, property exceeded expectations.
- Linda (7/5): The room was nice, the couch did not pull out as a double bed; I slept on an uncomfortable couch & t - There was no breakfast & my concern was that homeless people were living across the street from the property. The host should have met with us; or at least checked to see if everything worked. We spent two days texting concerns like a broken TV in one of the bedroom, as well as getting more bathroom towels & body wash. I asked from a discount on the bill. for my unconvince, with no response.
- Linda (8/5): After a very rough start, the accommodations are lovely. - The apartment was quite lovely, very clean and well appointed. The building is very quiet. The neighborhood is centrally located and easily walkable to local sites. I had major issues submitting my payment, eventually resolved, but it took multiple calls and several days. Then, at our arrival, getting into the building was a challenge. It would have been MUCH better to have someone physically in the office to check us in rather than communicating through Booking.com, someone on the text and someone else on the intercom. It was a really frustrating start. We saw a couple having the same issues a few days later. I was almost reluctant to utilize Booking.com again after this, but I realized it’s more on this new group to do better.
- Judene (9/5): Superb - Location was great.Just struggled with process to get access to premises Difficult to get access to apartment
- Niyada (8/5): Very good - The condo was nice and clean with enough stocking of kitchen and bathroom supplies. The only problem is, the kitchen appliances were not very user friendly, not a conventional press and go. Owner (or host) was responsive to my inquiries and questions and sent someone over quickly to look at the appliances that we thought were out of order. We appreciated that. Instructions on key (fob) access were a little confusing. Fortunately, we got someone's help who was on site. One elevator did not work when we were there. Parking was not available onsite, we had to pay $108 to park a few blocks away for the duration of our stay. Many homeless people lived across the street from the condo. Not a good sight as I had young children with me.
- Sean (1/5): perfect 10 minute stay, very relaxing - If could get into the property I would let you know. Perfectly located on skid row complete with homeless drug addicts and trash. Code to access building doesn't work, had to be let in by another resident. Entire 10th floor inaccessible, both elevators and fire escape doors exclusively locked on 10th floor. Property manager ignored calls and sent same automated instruction message over and over. Cut my losses and left rather than stay locked out on skid row.
- Palvinder (10/5): We had the most amazing time and would recommend the property. - The location was fantastic and all the attractions were easy to access. The property was clean and in an immaculate condition. All the essential were provided. N/A
- Ota (9/5): Superb -
