• Natalia (9/5): - The location was great and it was a very nice apartment. There was no fire extinguisher in the apartment (at least not obvious), the floors creaked a lot and the water was always cold unless we turned on the water heater in advance.

• Loftis (6/5): Basically provided a decent place to stay in a pleasant neighborhood. - Close to underground/train station. Ground floor. Stovetop would not work. Had trouble with main outside door….unable to get in 2X.
• Dana (10/5): - It was a very good place to stay. The apartment was in excellent condition and the cleanliness was outstanding. The host guided us perfectly with clear instructions. It is very close to Paddington Station, which made travelling very easy. We stayed for 3 nights and were able to cover most of the attractions in London. Overall, it was great value for money. • Særún (7/5): Ok apartment in an old house, great location but uncomfortable when you have to worry about heating every day. - Great location, clean. The radiators didn’t work so the apartment was very cold on the first night. We used electric heaters for heating. The owner came to fix it but it didn’t work properly until the last night. The heat came on in the middle of the night. There was no black coffee.

• George (5/5): Great location, pity about dampness, the damp smell and expensive cost. - The best part of this accommodation was the location. It was close to Paddington station which was the main reason why we chose the Cosy 2BR Retreat after our previous Paddington location withdrew the property without any notice. Cosy is an apt word to describe the apartment, with the living room being the most spacious where we utilised the sofa bed for one of our sons. The other has a single bed in a tight room and the main double bed was also quite tight. There is no question regarding the equipment everything was there it was just tight. The most disappointing aspect of the property was the dampness, we just couldn't get our washed clothes dry. The folding door between the kitchen would neither stay open or closed. The ironing board did not have a cover, if there was one there we couldn't find it (we probably could have asked for help with that). To get to the apartment you had to go through a second door which cut off any air flow through the corridor where you can really smell the dampness.

• Ibrahim (10/5): Love the place. As advertised - Very near to public Transport and reasonably near to supermarket (Waitrose) and halal butchers. Apartment is clean and tastefully decorated. Fits our needs for a clean secure and comfortable accommodation. The backyard to the lower ground flat which was visible from our flat was dirty and unmaintained which is a bit of an eyesore but if you are mostly of of the apartment, I guess it’s aok!

• Sandra (6/5): Not fair value for your stay. - Very close to Paddington station. Nice building and neighborhood. The host was always available and eager to solve the issues. The second room was too small. The apartment was not sufficiently clean, and the building was full of trash. There was a leak from the upper floor, and we had a bucket to collect the falling water in the entrance hall.
• MEL (8/5): comfortable apartment - The host was perfect. Everything was available, including fans at every room, tea/coffee, toiletries, laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid. There were even multiple UK plug converters was available. Location is good. It's a secure building. The photos of the apartment are up to date. Although the apartment is small, it is comfortable for a family of 4. No view.

• Isabel (8/5): Ticked all the boxes for my short stay to run the London Marathon, would stay again as good locatio. - Location was close to Paddington Station. Quiet area with restaurants and shops nearby. Had everything you need for a short stay. Lots of rubbish and plastic bottles in the outside area below the apartment on the ground floor. Just didn't look very nice when you open the window and looked down, but didn't notice it otherwise. Tricky area to get clean I guess and not the owners fault.
• Lloyd (3/5): Cheap and unfortunately dirty - Unfortunately several things an issue. Plates and glasses were absolutely filthy. Bits of food and grease on everything. Lamps broken and not working. Hot water had to be turned on for 30 mins before shower. Toilet flush broken with cistern running for hours and very loudly. No room in bedroom other than for the bed itself.

• Glorijoy (9/5): Superb - Very accessible, walking distance to the Heathrow Express. Facilities were as described and kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea. Host was very responsive to our needs, including providing a travel cot for our little one. The street was quiet at night with minimal disturbance.

Easy transport close by at Paddington Train Station or heaps of bus options within minutes from apartment Good host / responsive most of the time Sainsbury & other grocery / food supermarkets located at Paddington station. Eating out options everywhere (great Italian restaurant close by / Bizzarro) Photos are a bit misleading. Kitchen a lot smaller & bedrooms a lot smaller. Main bedroom bed needs replacing as one side of bed was collapsing as the base is not secure. Quite small unit whereas photos make it look quite spacious & modern

• Julie (9/5): Very convenient location with good facilities - Was a great location for train or bus travel Your squeaky floors, the view of the courtyard rubbish and the window level with the bed it would feel safer if their was some sort of grill so you could leave the window open and not be afraid something may fall out while on the bed.

• Kinga (8/5): Despite minor points, we had a great time and would recommend this place for its excellent location and outstanding host - We had a lovely stay at this property! The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive, replacing our broken coffee machine within an hour and providing us with all the information we needed as tourists quickly through messages. The apartment is very well equipped, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The location is great, with easy access to Paddington underground station, buses, shops, and everything you need for daily necessities. The only bathroom, while a bit small, was functional but could benefit from having a handheld shower option in addition to the ceiling-mounted rain shower. Additionally, a bit more attention to the overall cleanliness would make the stay even better.
