Guest Reviews
- Huma (9/5): Overall, it’s a really nice and well-kept place to stay. It’s quiet, comfortable, and has good facilities, so I’d defini - I had an excellent stay at this property and was truly impressed by how well everything was organized and maintained. The house was extremely clean, quiet, and very well kept, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, modern, and very comfortable.
The common kitchen on each floor was a great advantage-very well equipped for making coffee, snacks, and simple meals, with large fridges and plenty of space for guests. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and there was more than enough privacy and comfort for everyone.
What made the experience even better was the excellent communication with the organizer. The host was always very polite, professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. I felt very welcomed and well taken care of from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again. Only a few small things could be improved. The beds and mattresses should be checked more carefully when changing the bedding to ensure everything is perfectly clean and fresh for new guests. It would also be helpful to have a cloth/towel hanger in the bathroom. Additionally, the windows could be cleaned more regularly, as they were a bit dusty. Other than these minor points, everything was very good.
- stanley (8/5): Great budget option. - Great access to Tuffnell Park station. We had a festival in Camden for the weekend so this was an ideal location. Quiet area and no problems with noisy guests. Easy process to check in. Everything was clean and it was helpful having a kitchen with dedicated space to store food. The bed was a little small for us and the room was pretty basic but that's not really a complaint.

- Jakub (8/5): Great stay - Great location and very cosy room!
- Seamus (3/5): Bed was comfy, tv didn’t work, walls where paper thin could hear everything - Location was good 10/15 minute walk to Kentish Town Going under scaffolding to enter the property, being able to hear work men hammering, drilling and throwing stuff into wheelbarrows first thing in the morning walls are paper thin

- Coughlan (5/5): Comfortable but in need of updating. - It was in a good quiet location, with a private view from the window - made it feel cosy! The room was too cramped for some of the things in there...the folding table was very old and looked like it was ready to completely come away from the wall. You also couldn't lift it up as it would hit the bed - there was a folding chair against one corner but clearly no space for it.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, but the throw blanket was stained and a bit tattered, making the bed feel not so clean.
The shower head holder was cracked and loose, in need of replacing.
The room we stayed in really should just have a single bed!
- Imogen (6/5): Room itself was comfy and clean, would definitely stay again for a short stay. - Comfy and quiet street - really like the location as it was close to a local grocery shop, cafe and pub. Also is close to the train station and feels very safe. There was no proper aircon, the apartment got quite muggy and hot and the kitchen amenities could’ve been cleaned a lot more.
- Damian (7/5): - Clean and safe. Great location with a kitchen close to the room. Very convenient, but a little too overpriced. It was quite noisy as you can hear other guests easily. The room was also a bit small and felt cold inside.
- Lyn (8/5): Good place to stay with access to all of London. Thank you - Great location. Excellent communication and instructions for entry and leaving. Nice and clean. Warm, too. No table or plug on my side of the bed
Smoke alarm In the hall beeped intermittently all night
- Dulnikiewicz (10/5): Phenomenal stay, good location close to northern line - Super clean, quiet and VERY easy to get into which wąs important for us. It was all great no negatives
- Daryl (10/5): Kentish town stay - Amazing location , easy transport links, quiet , great communication with host , throughly recommend Nothing
- Daryl (10/5): Kentish town stay - Fantastic facilities , quiet location & within easy reach for Kentish town centre & excellent transport links
It was so good we've booked again Not a thing

- Tolea (9/5): -
- Mary (9/5): Lovely safe and clean - Lovely location felt safe and calm. Room clean and organised. Facilities great with kitchen for making teas and coffees etc

- PierisIC (7/5): Our London stay - Kitchen was nice and there is a washing machine too but we didn't use. The rooms are basic but very clean. Train station is not too far from the hotel. All shops are around the station and less than 10 minutes walk. Access was easy and completely contactless. Communication from the property was very good, timely and informative. The noise of your neighbours, including the toilets flushing, taking, snoring etc ☹️. Soap for washing would've been nice. Only had shampoo and conditioner.
- Judit (8/5): -
- francesco (2/5): hard to get some sleep, very noisy - The smoke detector was beeping all the time at night, for days. I asked to fix it they never did it. It was hard to sleep.
Walls are bad, you can hear the conversations in the other rooms
- Marcin (9/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent location, very good value for London, clean and comfy stay - Excellent location in a mostly residential area, very handy for Holloway Road, Emirates Stadium, Finsbury Park station, bus stop for 390 to King's Cross, West End, Victoria station, Hampstead Heath & Highgate.
Check-in was easy and communication was good. The room was clean, bathroom good, bed comfy, nice view from the window of gardens. Wifi good but not fast enough for streaming iPlayer through the TV. No recyling bins. No bathmat.
- MassimoA.

- Ria (10/5): A very nice property, very clean and a lovely space to stay. - A very nice property, very clean and a lovely space to stay. Good value for money for 2 nights. Easy to access with clear instructions.
- Selinna (10/5): -
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annabel (10/5): Great location, perfect for our 2 night stay in London -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (10/5): Perfect accommodation and location for emirates stadium. - Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Shared kitchen was great. Key idea for doors, so smooth, hassle free entrance. Nothing. It was great, would stay here again.
- Lianne (8/5): Excellent value for money - Lovely clean room, was great having a kitchen to use rather than basic tea/coffee/kettle. Good size room. Keyless entry Would have been nice to have use of the garden and some garden furniture, especially as it's been lovely weather all weekend.
- Maria (10/5): Excellent stay in quiet peaceful location , superb hosts - Great location safe and quiet. I left something at the property and they posted it back to me out of their own pocket. They were very proactive kind , and helpful. Nice clean peaceful room to and shared kitchen was fantastic
- Calum (8/5): Comfortable, Value for Money, but consider earplugs - Generally comfortable and good value for money There was a bit of noise transfer between rooms, so I recommend earplugs
- Jure (7/5): Located in lovely area! - Located in nice and calm area. Good and comfortable bed. It has a washing machine which is good if you stay for a few days. Good wifi. Stove is not in working mode, for some safety reason.
Shower has to be updated (shower handle broken).
Everytime when somebody showers, water heater turns on and its so strangelly loud (whining sound) that it wakes you up.
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Unit was clean. Smelled like strong bleach whe we arrived past 10pm.
Room was decent size for the price. Hope the pillows were better. They were very flat.
Short walk from Tufnell Station, maybe 10min to 15min.
No luggage storage. Will need to use other storage services if you arrive early or have a late night flight.
- Sophia (5/5): Passable - The room was very “loud” because all doors opening and closing were very noisy along with the kitchen noise. Also it was not the cleanest, it had dust etc. It’s ok for one stay but not more than that.
- Marianne (6/5): Good for short no frills stay - A lamp in the room would be great. Room was very compact but everything you needed. Kitchen facilities available were handy. Unfortunately walls are thin if people using the kitchen in the night when you're trying to sleep. Friendly staff and good contact
- Allard (10/5): Great location - Super clean and very convenient for our trip.
Easy to find and access with the info provided before and during the visit. Very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely come again.
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (10/5): Would stay there again - a homely area with easy tube access direct to central london - Netflix available on TV if you have a login? Small compact room in a safe residential area - couldn't fault it - shared kitchen has kettle free tea, coffee, milk and takeaway cups.
- Kristoffer (5/5): Ok for short trips - The hotel is located in a quiet area with a 10 minute walk from the tube.
Door code works well.
The room had a well working oven for the cold winter days, and the shower worked well in regards to water pressure and temperature.
Shared kitchen had an ok amount of equipment. The cleanliness did not meet our expectations. The bathroom is due for a fix-up to get rid of the mold in the shower and the shower head should be replaced. We found toothpaste smudges inside the cabined and in general the place could have been cleaned better.
The room has quite poor sound isolation. There wasn't many guests during our stay, but we could hear their conversations from our room. We were also woken up each morning from a loud screeching sound from the pipes when someone in the building used their shower.
- Alexa (8/5): Well-located hotel with comfortable facilities and a shared kitchen. - I stayed at this hotel for a leisure trip and had a generally positive experience. The location was great, with easy access to the underground, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The facilities were comfortable, and the bathroom, although small, had everything I needed. I also appreciated the shared kitchen, which was pleasant and well-equipped. I did have an issue with the main door at one point and tried to contact the hotel for assistance. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reach them immediately, which was a bit frustrating.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (9/5): Comfortable, value for money for London and a lovely house - First time I've stayed in this type of property and loved the ease of access, location and comfort. No downsides as such, but wasn't sure what was available in the kitchen or whether I should have brought my own food etc. But to be fair, it didn't come with breakfast so I went to a local cafe anyway. I'll know for next time.
The only downside was the TV wasn't hooked to free view, only Internet streaming. Previous guests had left their login details so I wasn't going to leave mine, so just used my phone.
- Sandra (7/5): Good - Great room, with a shared kitchen and a great private bathroom.
- Veronica (6/5): long weekend in london - location was exactly where I needed to stay way too small for the price we paid and not so clean.
- Sian (8/5): Very good -
- Gustavs1978 (10/5): Good! - Very good value for money, taking in consideration that prices is London is astronomic. Price, everything was clean and safe.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Clean property. Good to have a kitchen to use. Very close to the Tube NA
- Lee (5/5): Passable - Safe location, easy access to building and clear instructions Run down, very marked walls. Feels like a hostel. No hot water one morning.
- Andrew (10/5): Neat Place in a Leafy Part of London. - Clean room, quiet, nice view of the garden. Close to shops, pubs, eating places and public transport (Tufnel park about 10 minutes walk). The room is a HMO, but room 12 was next door to the shared kitchen. The room had an en-suite, TV and free WiFi. The shared kitchen had a washing machine, oven, fridge, cups, plates and all you need. The shared house was quiet and I will book again. All good.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Serena (8/5): Very good - Small room.
- Tony (8/5): Clean, easy and friendly - Location and cleanliness A room for two people who have traveled a very long it was a little too small
- Santiago (10/5): Nice room, quiet location - Comfortable and quiet. Good WiFi. Easy to access
- Sandra (9/5): The host was very cordial and quick to respond to my requests even at odd hours. Thank you Sophie - The location is central, very clean and quiet. I had to extend my stay and stayed for 6 nights. Host is very responsive and everything is set up for your ease and comfort. Kindly include a toilet brush to the rooms so those who are there for long stays can clean on their own 😊.
- Sasha (7/5): Good experience - It was a convenient short stay while we attended a festival, the rooms are small but very manageable especially when your out all day and just need a place to sleep. Facilities were well kept but the walls are thin so you can hear others. It would be nice to have a space for storage such as lockers to drop off bags before you can check in, there is so one overseeing the property physically so you do that’s to call to get in contact with someone.
- Kai (7/5): Good - The hotel is not far from the tube station, 10 to 15 minutes walk. There are a lot of restaurants near the station. I love the Korean food very much. If you want to have Japanese food, it's better to book a table in advance. Conclusively, the hotel is valuable for limited budget travellers. The room is generally clean, but it is better to have deep cleaning after a certain period.
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Location good. Quiet and easy access to tube station. Rooms a lot smaller than they look in the photos but fine for 2 people
Pillows need replacing.
- Alyssa (6/5): Nice and close but needed better bed and pillows and cleaner - Nice and close to everything Very small bed was very uncomfortable, pillows very uncomfortable
- Lily (8/5): Great basic room in lovely area - It was in a lovely area and a lovely building, having access to kitchen facilities was great. The communal area and rooms were a bit tired, there was gum stuck to the bottom of the chair.
- Mary (7/5): it was good value and comfortable. Good for a day or two. - cleanliness and access to kitchen limited access within building, overgrown garden at rear
- Kamil (10/5): Staying at May - Easy check-in, just use the code. No keys no struggling. Clean and fresh room with bathroom. Also available fresh towels, soaps and shampoo. The common areas are well equipped. The whole interior is renovated and fresh. Quiet and English feeling neighbourhood with 15 minut to Underground. Highly recommend. None.
- Lina (9/5): Nice suburban stay in london - the area was a super cute and quiet suburban are on the outskirts of centeral London. The stay is about 7 minutes walking distance to the tube station and there are plenty of different busstations close by. There is also a nice little "city-centre" by the station where they have pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants! I would personally recomend cinnamonvillage (its great) the rooms are very small so do keep that in mind! Its absolutely livable but i was a bit suprised at the small size when i arrived.
-> also there are no smaller lights in the room so its the big light, or no light
- Charlotte (4/5): Ok stay, needs some additional things to make it comfortable. - Nice location with a garden view. Clean toilet facilities. Very basic, with things missing such as a bedside lamp and the curtain didn’t come down to cover the whole window.
- Agnieszka (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean and quiet. Kitchen was available with free coffee and tea. There were towels and cleaning supplies available in room Window was leaky it was cold during night and leaking shower falling shower handle, cushions were not good quality, unfortunately bed was too small for two people in my opinion
- Dave (10/5): Great location, very clean rooms and facilities. - Clean property, easy and safe access, great location, quiet area and a ten minute walk to Tufnell Park tube station. Great facilities with a fitted kitchen and separate compartments in the fridge and cupboards for different room numbers. Will definitely recommend this property.
- Manisha (5/5): Passable - Sophie from customer service was lovely and very helpful and housekeeping staff were very helpful. At check in time I was waiting outside and still hadn’t been provided the code to enter. There’s no staff on site which is fine but communication was really bad and made for an unpleasant experience.
- Stuart (7/5): Functional and convenient - Well located for our needs, easy to access and good kitchen facilities The room was pretty cramped with just the basic furniture, a bed side table and light would have been useful.
- Mrs (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandru (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Great place 10out of 10 - Convenient location spotless room we arrived a little earlier but the cleaner let us in, the tube station was a ten minute walk 👍 Nothing really it was the best base we've ever had for a trip to London
- Josie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and great price!
- Zoltan (10/5): Lovely hotel room on a quiet street but close to the city - highly recommended! - The Anson Hotel is in a very quiet part of Islington, next district to the City. The buildings are beautiful in the surrounding, the street is quiet in rush hours too.
It is about 10 minutes walk from the underground, coach lines are available in the neighboring main streets too.
Check-in process was easy, we got all the necessary information in message before our arrival.
Our room was really small (13m2) but perfect for a short stay. We spent 4 days there. The small private bathroom also had everything what is needed usually.
Wi-fi was working sufficiently, even with a movie on the flat TV. Free coffee/tea was offered in the commonly used kitchen which was pretty well equipped. The bathroom might be equipped with two hooks to the two large size towels - it was difficult to find sufficient place for them.
The commonly used (1 for 4 rooms) kitchen is sufficient, indeed it seem so that some decision was made on the basis of practicality and not environment. Eg. I am happy to wash my coffee mug but there was only paper one which has to be thrown to garbage after usage.
- Anonymous (10/5): Cheap, clean and comfy. - Very nice place! It was clean and comfy and near the centre. Lack of grocery store in nearby places.
- Justncryss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahni (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Very modern and clean, quality towels and linens provided. Excellent kitchen facilities. Cannot fault this accommodation very happy. Nothing!
- Abhi_150 (10/5): Amazing Hotel and nice service - Hotel was amazing. Amazing room, kitchen and bathroom. Wifi was also amazing. Check in and check out was also very easy. I would like to rate 10 star. The location is also an amazing as well calm and peaceful area. Tube station is also very near to the hotel.
- Siiri (10/5): Location were perfect, we liked that it was quiet neighbourhood. Room was cozy and not too small. I will definitely come - The room was very clean and cozy and the kitchen was right next to our door. The view from the window was also nice! Walls were pretty thin so we heard someone snoring in the next room but it didn’t bother us that much.
- Claudia (9/5): Superb - Very nice little room in a great shared facilities hotel
- Luu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manuel (5/5): Passable -
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Duncan (9/5): Superb -
- Maike (7/5): we had a good time - We loved the location as it was quiet yet not completely outside.
The room was clean and the contact persons always easy to reach. The equipment in the kitchen could be better, eg a bigger pan or pot
Also, towel rack in the bathroom would been nice
- Lisak1992 (9/5): Very nice place to stay and good location - Room was clean, shower very nice and staff replied pretty quick when an alarm went off to sort it. Good transport links to central London. Only complaint is walls were very thin so could sometimes hear people slamming doors throughout the day and general talking, electronic pin codes for rooms very loud also.
