Guest Reviews
- Tod (10/5): Very enjoyable - Location and furnishings Nothing
- Darren (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Connage. It was warm & cosy & within walking distance to all Battery Point &a - Absolutely beautiful old building with lots of history. Very close to cafe’s & shops & within walking distance to Salamanca. Limited driveway access, limited on street parking & extremely uncomfortable pillows.
- Katrina (3/5): Great location - needs a good clean - Great location Unfortunately the house was dirty.
We contacted the property owner to advise with no resolution.
Dust under bed, dirty sink, coffee table dirty.
- McIntosh (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyable. Great location. Beautiful property. - Battery Point is a great suburb to stay in to soak up the historical vibe of Hobart and its a short walk to local bakeries, cafes, restaurants - and that's before you go down to the waterfront! The driveway to the back of the house is extremely narrow. It may have been flagged in correspondence but I didn't pick up on it. If someone was not paying attention they could easily cause some damage. It was fine parking on the street.
- Jane (7/5): Great location, lovely old house - Amazing location, lovely old house, comfy beds, roomy Bbq had disappeared, dishwasher would have been good. For the money, the house lacked the extra touches you might expect. Outdoor area not inviting and chairs need replacing
- Laura (8/5): Lovely historic house with easy walking access to shops & restaurants in the Battery Point & Salamanca areas. - Great location for exploring Battery Point & Salamanca on foot. Loved the neighborhood & the historic feel of the house, with the antique furniture, photos, architecture. Great access to a fantastic bakery for fresh bread & baked goodies. Easy walking access to many restaurants. Difficult to park behind house with large suv & street parking limited to 2 hrs during the day. As coffee lovers, we had to purchase our own drip system to enjoy our morning coffee, as there was not a way to make non- instant coffee.

- Evelyn (9/5): Brilliant location for anyone staying in Hobart which is walking distance to Salamanca , Macquarie pier, and city . - Location and number of bedrooms was great. Kitchen great too, as was heating in most of house. No blockout on window in fourth bedroom (with single beds) and heating not ideal in that room (fan heater)
No wardrobes to hang clothes.
Driveway too narrow for our car (medium SVU) and street parking has limited periods applicable so hard to move the car around quite a bit.
One bathroom for four bedrooms was tricky but we managed.
- Catriona (9/5): Happy we chose to stay here as close to everything and great with a group. - Beautiful old building, very central location to Salamanca with nearby shops and restaurants.
- Justin (10/5): Perfect - Location and atmosphere Nothing
- Maureen (8/5): - Location was excellent. Decor..deer head mounted on wall in sitting area
