- Matt (8/5): - It is a spacious, modern property and well-appointed with facilities and equipment. The configuration is ideal for 2 family groups. The location is about a 7-8 minute walk to the main beach and Hastings Street, although it is not really suitable for people with mobility issues (steep hills, steps). We stayed for 2 weeks but on arrival there were minimal consumables - sufficient for one day's use. This could be a little more generous. Also, the pantry was bare and there were no condiments. So, for a 2 week stay for 2 family groups, it is inevitable that some meals will be prepared. This required purchasing everything needed to prepare a meal. It would be useful to have the basics available, eg olive oil, salt/pepper, basic herbs/spices etc.
There was construction going on next door and also further up the street. This was noisy and started early in the morning including Saturday which was annoying and affected the amenity of the property. We were not told about this on booking.
- Samantha (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful and spacious house in a stunning location we had an amazing time, 2 families of 4 with adult teenagers and a grandma too :) all had an amazing time the 200 steps to Hastings Street were rewarded with excellent ice cream when you got there 😊
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Julia (9/5): Stunning ! Immediate sense of relaxation amongst the rainforest. - So cool. Loved it. Immediate feeling of relaxation amongst nest the rainforest. The extra oven on the bench
- Kine (8/5): Very good - The only thing was that the oven didn’t work.
- Amanda (10/5): Very well appointed house, great for groups, very clean. - Great space, we had x6 but could comfortably fit x8. The toaster was very temperamental.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location - short walk to Hastings Street.
Beautiful home.
Loved that it could be split between 2 families.
- Jennifer (10/5): A dream spot to relax and enjoy and your holiday - The property was gorgeous, it had plenty of room for our family, the amenities were of very high standard and extremely clean, we could not be more happier with our choice of accommodation, we would highly recommend.
It is a short walk to Hastings Street down some steps or you can take an easier walk down the road. The beach and shops are conveniently located at the bottom of the steps. We loved the quietness of our location amongst the beautiful back drop of the trees.
Noosa is our favourite beach holiday destination in Australia, this property did not disappoint our expectations. nothing
- Nadia (9/5): Superb -
- Suzie (4/5): Disappointing - The property was roomy with multiple living areas. The house maintenance was extremely poor with a strong, strange smell evident on entering the property for an expensive holiday. There was debris everywhere - eg large palm fronds, leaves and bark on the decks, obstructing paths and driveway, stacked rotting timbers obstructing the garage. The rot & mould was terrible - eg rot in entrance wood, deck wood and bathroom, cushions on outdoor furniture were filthy & mould-covered, & my children had asthma flare ups from the mould spores throughout the property. There was no blower to get rid of the debris, and the mid-stay service didn't clean it up. Sliding doors were stiff and unlockable with wall paint peeling and sagging. Multiple lights weren't working eg downlights in the main cupboard and sensor lights outside the garage. There was no lighting in the driveway and the drain grates were removed from the trench across the driveway, also the main pedestrian access to the property - I twisted my ankle when I walked into the drain on a wet night - it was really dangerous, and bad on my low-profile car tyres. There were a lot of creepy crawlies despite the cockroach baits, we were confronted with large huntsman spiders, cockroaches, and my son reported hearing the pattering of tiny feet in the walls and ceilings that he thought were rats, or mice. The battery on the garage controller was flat, the gas supplying the house hot water ran out and left us with stone cold water on unseasonably cold days. The entrance mat and blinds in the separate living area were faded and not working in the main bathroom area. The bed runner was dirty, as were the grimy linen covers on the sofas in the central living area. A bicycle was in the garage with non-functioning back brakes and two flat tyres, the surf board had no fin and was unusable, there was no beach umbrella or CoolCabanas shade cover, despite most properties providing these amenities as standard. I was unable to get an early check in or late check out.
