- MINGMING (10/5): Save your energy for carrying your luggage upstairs! The rest is just about enjoying the stay! - This is a fantastic place to stay. It's in a great location, within walking distance of the London Eye and Waterloo Station! The house is fully equipped for cooking and laundry, and there's even an Iceland supermarket downstairs! It's perfect for families! N.A.

- Vivian (1/5): Dissapointing - Nothing We arrived with kids and were shocked to find there was no hot water during our entire stay — not in the evening, not in the morning. We had to leave without showering, which was extremely frustrating.
There were no clear instructions for the Wi-Fi, and to make things harder, there’s no lift, so we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs ourselves.
This was far from the comfortable experience we expected.
- Boxiao (7/5): 瑕不掩瑜 - 位置极好,温馨舒适,生活方便,服务态度好! WiFi 连不上,淋浴水温不稳定,烤箱时常跳闸,如果解决了就是极好👌🏻
- Lindsay Russell (3/5): No wifi, frustrating keypads, issues with shower temp, very noisy, overall extremely disappointing - The only positive feedback I have for this stay is that it is incredibly conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk from Waterloo train station, on a lovely and lively main street. This was an incredibly frustrating stay overall. Firstly, and by far the biggest issue with this stay, is that there is NO wifi whatsoever. I admit I'd read 1 or 2 reviews that mentioned the wifi wasn't very good, but there was simply NO WIFI when we were there. The modem listed the name of the network and password on the back, but despite trying it multiple times, including unplugging it and plugging it back in to restart it, there was no point during our stay where there was internet connection through that network. We tried to message the host multiple times to try to get it sorted, but it never was. At one point they told us we were using the wrong network, and sent the name of a different network to try, but that network didn't even show up as an option within the unit. So we all had to purchase data add-on's for our phones, which was not a cost we thought we'd have to factor into the stay, given the listing clearly states there is 'free wifi'. Additionally, while the front door keypad was no trouble to use, the keypad for the front door to the unit was extremely temperamental, which resulting in us wasting quite a lot of time resetting it because the alarm went off, not being able to get back into the unit, or having to stand around waiting for the door to lock before we could leave. The water temperature in the shower was also extremely inconsistent - it would not maintain a single temperature no matter how much you played with the knobs, going in-and-out of freezing cold water and burning hot water. The building was also quite noisy, and the windows in the unit itself were extremely thin so we were woken up every morning around 5:30/6am by trucks collecting bins directly below. The bed in the main room was also very uncomfortable. If your only priority is location, I'd maybe recommend this place, but other than that I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

- Aaliyah (1/5): Absolutely horrific. - The location was lovely It had so much potential but it was horrific as was communication with the owners. Firstly there were blood stains on the sheet covering the sofa and when we took that off we saw mysterious white stains on the actual sofa and pillows. The signal was horrible and the WiFi was even worse. The hinge on the window was broken. None of the electrics in the kitchen including the freezer, fridge(which we had bought food to cook with that was destroyed because it couldn’t be stored), kettle, oven ect and lights all around the house were on when we arrived because the fuse was off unknown to us of course. So I tried to call and message the number linked to the property and got no response, a different number (not linked and not a uk number) then messaged asking for confirmation of our booking and the details of the problem. I explained our issues and send videos and pictures to which the owner was apologetic and explained that they would speak to a contractor. After this we realised the fuse was off and we switched it back on and all the electrics were on. Except the fridge and the freezer and when we tried to use the oven it tripped the fuse. I explained this in a message and from then onwards I never received a reply. The same night a new number on WhatsApp tried to call me and had messaged me saying that they had complaints of us throwing a party and smoking weed and told us we needed to evacuate or they would call police and security… when we got this message we were not even in the property let alone partying and smoking weed so we explained this to that number and the issue was dropped and we continued with our stay. I then messaged again explaining that there was no hot water at all, again no response at all. We spent 4 days unable to cook, store food and/or have a shower or bath. None of the issues were ever resolved and we were left unable to enjoy our stay as we had planned to.
- Pearla (4/5): Disappointing - I couldn't believe the entrance to the apartment was like this and that it wasn't included in the photos of the apartment.
- Lakshmi (7/5): Good - Washbasin sink is blocking water. Apart from that, i dont see any challenges and stay went well.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -

- Leanne (8/5): Very good - The position of the apartment was great. Walking distance to rail station, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. No wifi access. Couldn't use the oven as it tripped the electricity.

- Laura (7/5): Perfect location, tidy apartment - Review
We recently stayed at this apartment for my husband's 40th birthday, seeking a budget-friendly place close to London attractions and the tube. Despite initial apprehensions due to some bad reviews, we found our experience surprisingly positive overall.
From the outset, the apartment's outdoor space differed slightly from the photos but was a private, gated area that suited our needs. The location was excellent, especially for accessing Waterloo Station, which was perfect for our plans. While some reviews mentioned noise, given the central London location, it was expected and didn't bother us.
The apartment served well as our base, though on the first night, feeling unwell, I spent more time there than anticipated. It wasn't exactly "home away from home," as the sofa and bed were a bit uncomfortable, but we managed. The decor was somewhat worn, yet it was clean and tidy, stocked with essentials like toilet paper and basic amenities. A plug was missing for the bath and a TV in the bedroom would've been nice, but these were minor quibbles. The bed could definitely use a new mattress for greater comfort.
Despite previous concerns, the host communicated effectively, promptly providing the WiFi code when requested, countering the negative reviews in this regard. Overall, for the price and prime location, it was quite adequate. If the bed were more comfortable, I'd certainly consider booking again.
All in all, I believe the negative reviews don't fully capture the experience. It may not be perfect, but given the bargain, it's much better than I'd feared, and, most importantly, my husband enjoyed his stay.
- Piyathida (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (5/5): Close position to amenities but noisey - Location was noisey Incorrect details of how to gain access to the room, the balcony and exterior is needing some work carried out to tidy and clean it up
- Sandra (5/5): Good location, however ammenities need to be updated! - Location was good, close to 2 train stations and sites within walking distance. Supermarket down below which was handy. No hot water for 2 days, due to faulty oven which tripped the power and then did not work, then microwave blew up which the owner replaced on day 3.
Ran out of toilet paper. No wifi or instructions on how to use things. Contacting staff was poor. And then came over to the apartment at 7.30pm to see why we had no hot water. Would appreciate this to be fixed as soon as it was reported. No compensation was offered which is disappointing.
- Kirk (8/5): Great Location. - Great location. Quite a few stairs to reach the accommodation with large check-in bags. Not recommended for any physical challenges.
- Ewa (7/5): Good - Location, communication with owner. The boiler wasn't working properly, so we had issues with hot water.
- Ivet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jazmin (5/5): Sub-par accomadations. Need to fix the water issue - Location Only stairs (small and tight)
Trip hazards walking outside to unit (almost fell twice )
NO HOT WATER running consistently (2 days I had to wash up at the sink)
Bed very uncomfortable as is the couch ( thin, cheap)
Curtained needed over the kitchen window/ door (people walking to the train can see in)
Curtain needed over door window … a man was looking in we had to tape paper towel up
There’s a washer but no dryer
Check in is 3pm strict but check out is 10am - that’s too early
- Nadia (10/5): Very clean, on a nice street not far from underground would stay again :) - Nicely decorated clean felt like home away from home. .
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Location and easy to locate Cooker didn't work proper
- Ryan (7/5): Short stay but place was clean and comfortable. Great location. - Great location to local shops and cafes. Walking distance to train station and attractions. WiFi fell out a couple of times.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Extremely well located for attractions either on foot or the tube.

- Axel (4/5): Disappointing - Everything looked clean The host didn't bother with our problems with the fridge and internet connection.
- Sophie (4/5): Overall it was satisfactory but was disappointed with the “through clean” it had before we arrived. - The location was great! It’s was left unclean (smashed glass in freezer)

- James (1/5): Bad -
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Bianca (5/5): Passable -
- Giuseppe (4/5): Miserable - Location and size The check-in process was totally wrong.
Wrong address on booking and wrong address in provided instructions! It is 113A and they shared 133 …
Keys were not available in the lock system upon arrival. No phone no answering of messages until following morning at 06:30.
Total nightmare had to sleep at hostel for first nothing else available in that area of london at that day and time of night…
The following day I could not still anyone on the phone. Only messaging… finally I was let in by using cleaners code access.
Missed my morning meetings and was told that first night would not be refund!
Premises were nice but I will never use again
- Amanda (4/5): Mehhhh. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed in but was definitely not worth the price we paid. Yes, you get a view of t - The location was very nice. It was on a quieter street while still being near the London Eye. Communication with the property was terrible. We only got check in instructions after asking and it was sent while we were waiting at the property. It felt more like staying at a mates house that’s not prepared for actual guests rather than an apartment stay. The pictures did not match what the property actually looks like. It was not that clean and it had bathroom mats that were clearly not cleaned between guests. Truly meh.
- Kamini (1/5): Terrible terrible and very bad communication and dirty!!! - Walkable distance to sites - however nothing much else This has been a horrendous experience. There was no clear communication on how to get into the property on the first night. Lots of rubbish and broken appliances outside front door! Building has carpets to access apartment and it is dirty and smelly. Apartment is a back apartment and backs onto a dirty roof and rubbish site from supermarket so very dirty views. The apartment had mould and kitchen was filthy with mouldy bread and fridge was very dirty! Gave us 2 towels for a 9 night stay amd no dish cloths etc. We tried contacting the property and they ignored the messages - needed to contact booking.com so that we could get some response- they still didn’t bother!
Check out says 12 - and they kept on insisting we needed to leave at 10am.
They then tried to cancel the booking on the last day so that we couldn’t leave a review - booking.com intervened so that we could leave a review.
AVOID THIS PROPERTY !!!
- Jose (1/5): Dirty and old apartment, pictures provided are not real - The entrance of the apartment was super dirty, the bed was really uncomfortable & worn, the bathroom was blocked and we need to wait more than 3 hours for assistance to open the door. The WIFI connection did not work properly, no extra bed sheets available in the main room. Windows did not close & no air conditioning available.
- Ms (6/5): Pleasant - The location The check out time is at 10am and it was not stated in the booking.
The wifi is useless. Very noisy at night because garbage disposal works next door
- Nicola (9/5): Foarte ok, recomand. - Almost everything was OK. Good location, plenty of restaurants, markets and bus stations all around. The beds are comfortable, you find everything you need, inside. Quick keyless access, the owner responds shortly, good communication. It is a bit noisy at night, being near a train station, and towards morning you can hear the maintenance staff, who carry out their work. The terrace is not at all like in the photos, it looks totally unkempt.
- Peter (4/5): Disappointing -
- Karina (9/5): Wonderful - wonderful location. great location. Grocery next door, metro station and buses very close. For those who have difficulty climbing stairs, there is no elevator. the only problem we had was that when using the conventional oven the circuit breaker in the kitchen tripped.
- Nicki (5/5): I wouldn’t stay there again I choose to stay in a hotel which was double the price. for the rest of my time in London - location communication was very poor, booking.com said check in was 12pm and checkout was 12pm once I made payment check in was 3pm. I tried to message and was ignored for check out time, cleaner knocked on the door at 10am.
entry instructions were poor, wrong house number given, and not clear code was for key box not the panel.
- Tara (7/5): Good - The flat is really close to Waterloo Station which was super handy. It was a really nice place overall. I found it quite difficult to get the instructions of how to get to the place (was told check in was 3pm although it stated on booking.com that check in was from 12pm). There were also details missed out (the door code & wifi password). We had to walk back down the street a couple times as we didn’t have wifi (which I mentioned was an issue). It was also super hot and no fan provided which would have made the stay abit more pleasant. We ended up sleeping on top of the bed as we couldn’t bare the heat. There was also only no hand towel in the bathroom and only two towels provided altogether. For future reference may be good to have a note with details including wifi password, where to leave the key tag etc.
