• Kevin (10/5): - Jan our host very helpful & informative of the area & it's surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the beauty of the location & vistas of the sea.. The history of the area provided in wide range of informative books detailing the lives of the settlers from the 1950s onwards . Plus an array of wildlife books & cook books for advanced modern day recipes. The property has a really comfortable bedding & modern bathroom furnishings with great a fantastic shower & washing facilities after a long day. The soft personnel touch of the furnishings & pictures & the sound bar to create mood. The beautiful garden & selection of flowering plants which attract an array of Parrots , small birds & rabbits whilst enjoying cooking on the BBQ Notable plant highlights are bottle brushes & the bees that buzz on the flowers plus the bush shrubs at the back . Perhaps some more features could enhance the property further & a better oil radiator heater for the bedroom .

• Frank (10/5): Great place to relax - Spacious open plan, woodfire and plenty of light. Good quality appliances and great assortment of kitchen accessories. Remote control was difficult to use, the buttons seem to be not working intermittently.
• Terry (10/5): Loved, loved, loved Hexagon Beach House. - Loved everything about Hexagon Beach house, beds were comfortable, everything was clean and beautifully decorated and it was in a lovely quiet street with a great view. Little extras like books, DVDs and games (in particular UNO) made us feel at home. We made use of the washing machine and the line in the back yard and the BBQ. Loved the quirky layout of the house. There was a very noisy bird in the morning but that can't be controlled by the property owner.

• Nick (5/5): Also cleaning above waist height could be improved with dust and cobwebs evident - In a great spot high on the hill with great views but still walkable to town Unfortunately we only got about 2 hrs sleep due to constant ingress of mosquitos into the bedroom despite all the screens being closed. I managed to catch 9 of them and squash em but suffered 20 plus very itchy bites

Had to carry the luggage a few steps up to the house. I guess it is necessary for the house to have a better view of the mountain and sea when it is slightly raised

There was a booklet show casing local eating places and explaining facilities, it was a perfect getaway for us. We had an awesome meal at the Wharf seafood restaurant and have come back having a really relaxing and eye opening holiday. Thank you.

Plenty of outside areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine, beautiful garden with lots of birdlife! The pillows were a bit uncomfortable - and in the main bedroom the light fixture is very low over the bed, just felt a bit odd and was in the way.

Had all the amenities one would need, whether it be just for one night or an extended stay. The owner provided very clear instructions on how to find and gain access to the property with additional info on some shops and local restaurants which is always a bonus.

The weather was terrible for most of our stay so we spent some time indoors and enjoyed the view from comfy chairs, games in front of the fire and an easy walk to the fantastic restaurant around the corner.
