• Abraham (7/5): - House has four bedrooms which was enough for us. This house only has AC system in the hall ways , so unfortunately we had to use fan inside the rooms which was very hot during summer. We also seen lots of cockroaches in the kitchen and basement so we had to wash everything every single time before use.
• Denis (9/5): - Понравилось всё! Большой дом, у каждого по своей спальне было. На кухне много посуды абсолютно для всего. Гриля даже две штуки. Кофеварок тоже две: капсульная и капельная. Внизу в подвале стиралка и сушка фирмы Bosch. Остальная техника преимущественно Beko. Хозяева всегда были на связи, на все вопросы отвечали оперативно. Расположение не улучшишь, оно какое есть. Но нам нормально было. До Балата 1 км. До мечетей одна поездка на трамвае/автобусе, до других районов с одной пересадкой можно добраться без проблем. Так как район не туристический, магазинов и кафешек прямо рядом нет нормальных. За этим всем надо в Балат идти. Но выбирая это жильё, вы с этим соглашаетесь априори. Для себя выделю ровно два нюанса. Почти во всех комнатах достаточно тусклый свет, привык к более яркому освещению. И хорошая слышимость с улицы. Различный ор, разговоры и езда машин отчётливо слышно. Я сплю крепко и меня это не сильно беспокоило, а вот у друзей более чуткий сон и им бывало некомфортно. В целом, все плюсы легко перевешивают все минусы. Рад, что выбрали это жильё. Спасибо за гостеприимство!

• Tony (9/5): A bargain worth every penny - The place is huge and it's definitely a bargain for the price you pay. It's located near a bus and tram station so well connected to the rest of the city. Also not far from the apartment there are good restaurants and cafes. The place is definitely a good choice for a group of people looking to spend some days together in Istanbul, I recommend it. Very easy check-in and check-out. Kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, bedrooms are quite big and beds are comfortable (if you like firm mattresses). The water coming from the showers is not very warm and on top floor it has low pressure.

Elle se trouve à 5 min à pied du tram ce qui est vraiment pratique. Le quartier n'est pas ouahou, il fait un peu banlieue... On entendait absolument tous les bruits à l'intérieur de la maison, ce que n'est que du simple vitrage.

• Sadok (10/5): Wonderful stay for family visit, I would do it again! - Location is very good, very close to the tram station. There were multiple rooms enough for us (10 people). Owner has everything available in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms in addition to the basement with washing machine, dryer and iron. Owner was very kind and responds very quickly. They were also accommodating. Living room is small and hard to fit large family, not enough space to have a meal all together, but this is fine since we have been out most of the time. In addition, I noticed a few small roaches at night coming from the bottom of the kitchen cabinets, the owner may need to do pest control in the kitchen and maybe basement, but the rooms and toilets were very clean and no insects seen there.

The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything so easy. One thing we especially appreciated was being able to leave our luggage after checkout until it was time to head to the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here!

• Kate (10/5): Lovely house from which to explore an amazing city! - Lovely architecture and great position! Spacious clean and comfortable rooms with a bathroom on each floor. Great facilities for a family - well equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer. Neighbourhood is full of character, nearby Balat (5 min walk) has very cool cafes and restaurants. We recommend the restaurants with food in Bain Marie’s - cheap and delicious and usually without the hard sell. Fresh food market on Tuesday!! A walk from many attractions and direct tram ride to others. Bus and ferry also walking distance. We stayed in winter and it was also very cosy! Nothing!! But if you have mobility issues this house is connected by a beautiful spiral staircase. No bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Very easy to get to the main tourist attractions. Recommend adding more cups and a place to hang coats, jackets, etc. at the entrance.
• Mnali (9/5): Superb - Good location for touring the Balat area and a feel of how the locals live. Very spacious accommodation with everything you need for a stay.
• Emad (3/5): Not recommended for families - Location near the city center and historical buildings. The accommodation had several drawbacks, such as: 1. The cleanliness level was not good. 2. The weather was hot during the summer, and there were three bedrooms sharing one air conditioner, so you had to keep all bedroom doors open to feel a little bit of cool air. When I discovered that I have asked to cancel my reservation with refund but the owner rejected my request. 3. Parking spaces were limited and not always available. 4. On many nights, the noise from the street and neighboring houses was unbearable, with loudspeakers and music blaring in the street until 2 AM. 5. The area is relatively unsafe, and you might encounter some racist incidents, especially if you belong to a certain ethnicity, as happened to me. Not recommended for families.

• Sharene (9/5): Lovely historic home in the heart of the city - It was an amazing old house that has been remodeled, right in the heart of the city. It was comfortable and clean. Bathrooms and beds were very good. The location was excellent, just minutes walk to the tramway and a large park. There's a minimart right across the street. Some of the rooms were a bit warm as the a/c was in the hallway, but this is probably only a problem in the summer afternoons. The TV is not an attraction, not a problem if you're not planning on being indoors. Wi-Fi is slow, not for people planning to work remotely. Street was a bit noisy, but all good ambience. I would still recommend this place and would be happy to stay there again.

• Greg (10/5): Amazing house, amazing owner - Staying in a historical mansion by the sea made us feel like we were in historical Istanbul. The owner did his best to make us feel at home, we appreciate them. A total of 3 toilets and 2 showers on each floor were a real luxury for us. You must experience this! We have no complaints about the house, but be careful with taxi drivers in the city. Not all of them have good intentions.

• Ece (10/5): Exceptional - In our Turkey trip Istanbul is the first stop. This place was in Balat, old town center of Istanbul was a great spot to stay. We loved this magnificent mansion as soon as we saw it. The tram and bus stops are both a short 5-minute walk away. We arrived all our destinations in 10 mins with public transportation.🚅 Due to its central location, it was also convenient to walk. There were several supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, and other places around to enjoy,🍹but the mansion itself was isolated. The property is ideal for our group trip to the city. It was very clean, elegantly decorated in keeping with its historical architecture, comfy, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Everything we required was provided and recommended by the hosts, and the hosts were always accessible 24/7. In terms of check-in and check-out times, they were also helpful. We would definitely recommend this mansion to others because it has been one of our favorite vacations so far! 🤩🥳 Nothing.
• Valli (7/5): Exceptional property but a difficult location! - Extremely well maintained spacious property The distance was very far off from city center Every time we ended up paying lot to taxi The tram was inconvenient And it is a typical Turkish local residential area There are lot of turns and roads and ups and curves before you reach the property as per map. So if you are from Turkey please take this place for your vacation , but for foreigners it will be difficult to handle . The owner is extremely friendly and pleasant !
