• Katie B (5/5): Is actually a bed and breakfast - The accommodation needs to be advertised as a Bed and Breakfast advising the owners are downstairs and you are staying in the upstairs part of the house. The bed needs to be replaced with an actual bed. The cheap IKEA day bed is not suitable for couples. The slates are broken and the frame is bent so it is very uncomfortable to sleep on. We ended up removing the mattresses and slept on the floor. No doona provided for the bed, just a thin blanket. The bath is not a spa bath so that needs to be updated on their listing. The breakfast was a bowl of greek yoghurt with banana and granola. They should just stick to the basics of toast and cereal and croissants for breakfast rather than trying to be healthy as we don't eat greek yoghurt. No wi-fi or bottle of champagne provided so that also needs to be deleted from their listing.
• Cristin (6/5): Lovely place if you know what to expect - Beautiful home, friendly hosts, lovely neighbourhood, tasteful furnishings, lovely bonus breakfast. Probably our fault for not reading listing carefully enough but we weren’t expecting to share the facility with another family. We expected to receive keys and on- premise parking, and that the bed would be a normal mattress on a traditional bed frame.

• Arnold (6/5): The negatives outweighed the very good positives. - Clean, spacious and generous breakfast. The bed. It was clearly an Ikea day bed. The hosts need to up their game for discerning guests. Also, there was a lack of privacy that comes with no door to the guest area.
• Larissa (10/5): - My husband and I stayed at this accommodation and were pleasantly surprised at how new and clean it was. Appreciated that we could make our own proper coffee and delighted in the owner's display of photography and art books throughout the place. The real test was whether we were able to sleep well and I give that 10/10! If we had the chance we would stay there again!

The space is a lot bigger than I expected, super clean and everything is thought of for guests to feel at home. Will be back for each of my business trips for sure.

Owners very friendly and helped me when my phone charger didn't work. Cold drinks appreciated. The house is in a lovely street. The day bed is probably more suited to children. I would have liked a way to heat food. Some plates and cutlery would also be good.

Wasn’t very clear that it’s not a whole house and you’re sharing with the host, but we were given complete privacy. A few small things were forgotten (mugs, blankets) but I’m sure if you asked they would bring them up to you.

• Alexandra (9/5): Extremely stylish ,relaxing and peaceful guesthouse in Parkdale. - The guest space was beautiful - full of the hosts amaing art and decorated very tastefully. It had a very relaxing vibe. The hosts were super nice, flexible and respectful of my space. They were very friendly and generous with the provision of supplies in the guesthouse. I didn't realise that the guesthouse was the upstairs of the hosts home. It was not a problem, but I didn't think it was terribly clear in the description (although I booked in a hurry, so perhaps it was there!).
• Jhoeta (10/5): Classy, Stylish, Artsy, Modern Sanctuary! - From the moment I arrived and saw the place I knew it was going to be a nice comfortable stay. The neighbourhood is quite with plenty of parking. I was welcomed in by host Gino who has a presence and warmth to his personality that anyone would appreciate, such a positive vibe!! As he showed me around I was amazed by the decor & facilities & the cleanliness was all top notch. During my stay I had the pleasure of having the entire top floor of this gorgeous, modern two-story home all to myself! The room is very spacious, fitted with a ceiling fan which I love personally more than an AC unit but it also has AC for those extremely hot days. The bed is extra large and super comfortable, especially for 1 but would be just as comfy for 2. The room also has dimming lights and google home for in room entertainment, music, podcasts etc, everything to make you feel at home! The lounge room has comfy couches and large tv for those that like to watch netflix and chill or anything else! The bathroom is amazing, large shower area with a single rail shower and an overhead ceiling shower for those that prefer that type of shower, but the large bath did it for me! I was offered bath bombs and salts to help relax after a tiring day. Every morning, the hosts left me breakfast on the top staircase without me even hearing them come up! This consisted of a variety of fresh fruits, snack bars, yoghurts, crossaints or tarts which was a pleasant surprise! The mini bar was also always refreshed everyday with plenty of water, ice teas, cola, beer, and milk - not to mention a coffee machine setup in your own private office which is also decorated to be very stylish and sophisticated! This home is also very close to the always beautiful Mordialloc town centre which is packed with plenty of resturants, cafes & bars and are all situated right the the beach! A 5min drive or 29min walk away!!!!
• Hyobin (10/5): Aesthetic, Private Retreat in a Prime Location - 1. The space was incredibly aesthetic and well-designed by the two artist hosts. It was clear they put a lot of thought into selecting the furniture and products. Everything was clean and cozy. 2. Privacy. I loved having the entire upper floor to myself without sharing. There’s a small dog that sometimes comes up, but since I love dogs, I was totally happy with it. For those who don’t like dogs, you can just close the pet gate. 3. The location was great – close to the station, with restaurants, cafes, and the beach nearby. The hosts also offered to pick up guests from the station if needed. 4. The study room had a snack bar with a variety of snacks and drinks, and they even provided breakfast in the morning, which was a nice touch. 5. Communication. The hosts were really kind and made everything feel comfortable, and the communication was excellent. I don’t really have any negatives, but if you plan to stay long and want to cook or need a pickup from the station, just ask the hosts. They’re flexible and might be able to accommodate!
• Darren (3/5): Poor - What breakfast? A few snack bars were left on a table. The hot tub turned out to be an ordinary bath tub. No sink or even mini fridge to cool a beer. Tv had no aerial. Stairs were a hard climb. The Bed was like something from long bay prison. A long hallway with rooms with high ceilings and high fans , were nice but nothing special, no pool table or anything A lot of over exaggeration to be found here. Breakfast was a few snack bars left out. Not my thing. Hot tub was just a bath tub. Stair climb was risky as they had a slippery rounded edge. No mini bar to cool a beer. No kitchenette at all. Had to use the fridge in my car. The bed was hard like a prison cell. Tv didn't have an aerial connected. Nothing here worth any praise, had to park in the street. Really needs a lot of improvement, I'd rather stay in a cheap hotel. Forget it !!!!! Left after one night !
