• Smiley Shant (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable apartment. Everything we needed was available, including the washing machine and daily necessities. The staff was kind and responsive, and overall we really enjoyed our stay 😊✨ The children’s mattresses could be a little more comfortable. Also, the Google Maps location on Booking.com should be updated, as the apartment is around 12 minutes walking distance from the station rather than 5 minutes

• CEPEDA (2/5): Host was okay at first although he will rush you when his cleaner comes by the day of your check out. He doesn’t give yo - It has a convenient store right outside. Place was too small for a family of 7, considering it being in Tokyo— that’s expected but for the price it totally wasn’t worth it. I spent almost $500 USD for 3 days. Elevator is super tiny. Room is so dusty, aircon needs to be cleaned. Vent in restroom is dusty. Room has junk in it.

The apartment was clean and well maintained, and the space was generous compared with many other options we considered in Tokyo. The host was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more comfortable. There is a konbini right next door and a laundry facility close by, which was very convenient for daily needs. Everything we required was within easy reach. • Andrew (10/5): Short stay in Tokyo - Our stay at Oak Stay Shimokitazawa apartment was absolutely fantastic and truly made our trip to Tokyo extra special. The location could not have been better — just a few minutes walk from Meidaimae Station, with easy access to both Shinjuku and Shibuya by train. It made getting around the city effortless while still allowing us to stay in a neighbourhood that feels relaxed, stylish, and full of character. The local area itself was such a highlight. The area has a great vibe — trendy but not overwhelming — with plenty of amazing restaurants, cosy cafés, bakeries, and useful amenities all within walking distance. Whether we wanted a quick coffee, a delicious dinner, or to browse local shops, everything was right there. It felt authentic and local, not touristy. The apartment was spacious, beautifully presented, and perfect for a family stay. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed to feel at home. A special mention has to go to our host, Jacob. He was absolutely amazing — incredibly responsive, helpful, and full of great information. He provided fantastic tips about the local area, restaurants, and transport, which made exploring so much easier. His attention to detail and genuine care really elevated the entire experience. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Tokyo. The location, comfort, and outstanding host combined to make it a stay we won’t forget. It truly made our Tokyo visit unforgettable. One thing to note is that the apartment is located next to a busy highway. However, despite this, we found that the noise levels didn’t bother us at all. The apartment is well insulated, and once inside, it felt peaceful and comfortable. It certainly didn’t impact our sleep or overall enjoyment of the stay.

The portable wifi they provided was more stable than the portable wifi we hired at the airport. The host was very quick to reply and sort out any issues. Everything was executed very thoughtfully.

• Kevin (10/5): Good full-furnished family size apartment near train station - Apartment is 5min walk to Meidaimae station and easy access to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Shimokitazawa downtown! Washing machine and dryer were really helpful. The place is very clean, stylish and spacious size for our family so it is more comfortable and bigger than most Tokyo standard size. Our host Jacob was really nice too. We will be back here for our next trip in Tokyo next April.

• Wouter (7/5): - We liked the size of the apartment and the clean bath and washing areas. The apartment is located to quite a busy set of roads. For light sleepers this posed a difficulty. Earplugs were provided as a countermeasure.
• Roslina (9/5): The Meidaimae train station is really accessible within 8 minutes with great staffs. The convinience store also near wit - I book for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children). The house fits perfectly for us with 2 queen sized bed and 2 sofa bed. The kitchen was equipped with stove, microwave and fridge making it easy for us as a family. The toilet also was spacious enough. The downside of it is only one toilet in the house. But its okay, i understand that the japanese house is usually like that.

Before we arrived he communicated with me which was a big help so I knew which trains to take and how to find the apartment. He was there to let us in so we didn’t have to wait. He gave us suggestions of what to see and do. It was like meeting a friend who took an interest in our well-being. The apartment was very spacious. The beds super comfortable and it was very clean. There was a nice kitchen, a big fridge. The bathroom had a washing machine. It was nice and new. The area was safe and my oldest grandson enjoyed walking at night by himself. It was close to the trains which took us to all the main attractions that Tokyo has to offer. interesting, small and affordable restaurants. The apartment was within steps to 7-11 and an amazing grocery store and lots of interesting,small affordable restaurants. I can definitely recommend a stay here. In fact, I am planning to come back with the rest of my grandkids in the fall and I am hoping Jacob will be able to accommodate us. True Japanese hospitality. Thank you so much. I liked everything ❤️

Will stay again the next time visit Tokyo. - The property is spacious for a family of 4 and the host, Jacob, was super accommodating and provided warm hospitality. He is always communicating and checking up with me to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. I encountered some issue in Tokyo and Jacob helped a lot to resolve it. I’m really thankful to him for that! In addition, the property is very close to 7-11 and a supermarket. Very convenient to buy daily necessities. It’s also close to the train station and eateries.

Have lift so no need to hassle with luggage. At rooftop can see view mount Fuji. The host is very friendly, attentive and he also can speak English, Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia very well. For muslim travellers have any questions regarding halal restaurants or mosque or etc you can ask him. Very convenient and Indeed the best apartment in Tokyo.

• Tom (10/5): Fantastic stay at this new spacious and modern property! - The apartment was brand-new as advertised and very clean and modern design with free fast portable wifi device which made our family feel very comfortable during our stay. Only 5min walk to Meidaimae station from apartment and it was easy to go to Shibuya, Shinjuku 7mim ride by direct train. Brand-new kitchen with some cooking equipments were useful for our breakfast coz especially there is a super market and seven elven outside the building. Our Host was very helpful kind and attentive. Overall this was the best stay of our entire Japan trip!
