Theresa (8/5): I felt very at home and comfortable. Really lovely place and people - I loved the location, just outside the center. Beautiful setting, lovely gardens, comfortable attractive rooms and the staff were wonderful. Very kind, helpful, friendly. The swimming pool fabulous if cold. Easy to get to town by taxi and loved being more in nature Room is dark, by design It seems Replacing tinted glass window with clear glass window would improve. Stronger lights in room too. Hard to use jacuzzi or sauna without greater ease accessing electricity to heat them.
Jonathan (3/5): Great staff and personelle. Nice grounds. Upgrades needed with facilities and food. - The staff and personnel were very friendly and kind. The eco lodge theme around sustainability and health was appealing. The supposed jacuzzi tub in our room, room 18, which we paid a higher price to have was not functional. It had cracks in the tub, there was no hit water and the flow was very low. The place seems run down. Past it’s prime. The fountains in our rooms were non functional and had pieces broken off of them. Some if the spa services, like facials, which we had looked forward to, were not available. The food was not good. For a place with a healthy theme, there were few “health food” options. The veggies were wilted and over ripe. None of our family could finish there meals. We ordered lunch, 2 sandwiches, spaghetti and a salad and were told in would be ready in 40 minutes. When we’re arrived after the 40 minutes it took an addition 30 minutes for the food to arrive. There was hair on our bathroom floor from previous guests. The price we paid is too high for the overall value. We would appreciate a 30% refund on our stay.

Eli (1/5): Trust me, it's not "boutique" - We didn't get the deluxe suite we reserved until the next day at 3. The staff was rude and wanted us to pay more than in booking. Bugs came out of the jacuzzi, bug the staff was convinced we brought them somehow! And my favorite: they called the police on us before the check out, and they took our side, so the hotel had to compensate us. There are far better places for this much money, don't waste it here.

Andrea (4/5): It must have been nice in 2005 - Beautiful gardens, quiet, nice pool area, and nice staff. The internet in the rooms didn't work and they couldn't fix it. The hotel is more run down from what it shows in the pictures and description. The rooms were cold with insects and spiders. It supposedly is a "spa" hotel but the sauna is only open Saturdays from 4-7 and the facilities are very old. They charge an additional fee for the use of jacuzzis which seems unnecessary. Overall it's a hotel that saw its better days in 2005.
