I believe Novotel El Borg Cairo Hotel has the best location among all of the hotels (including the five stars) in Cairo. We stayed in a corner room, on the river side. It has sunrise right into the room. Amazing and panoramic view. If we ever come to Cairo again, we will definitely stay here, without a doubt. The room was spacious, had a big couch too. The bathroom had both a shower and a tub. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, we loved it. The hotel has Starbucks coffee and Mövenpick in its lobby. The ubers can drive up to entrance of the building, which is good when you have big luggage. The room was clean, the bed was big and comfy, the AC did its job properly during the very hot (outside was 43degrees celcius at some point) three days. Do it was 10 out of 10 stay for us. Thank you to lovely staff for being accomodative on my birthday getaway in Cairo! Nothing I can think of.

• marcin (10/5): - Bardzo udany pobyt! Hotel spełnił nasze oczekiwania pod każdym względem. Śniadania były bardzo smaczne i różnorodne, a obsługa niezwykle miła i pomocna przez cały pobyt. Dużym plusem było również to, że przy zameldowaniu otrzymaliśmy upgrade pokoju — zamiast standardowego pokoju dostaliśmy Juniorsuite, co było bardzo miłym zaskoczeniem. Wszystko było na wysokim poziomie, czysto i komfortowo. fajny kameralny basen. Zdecydowanie polecam ten hotel!
• Francisco (9/5): Tranquilidade no meio do caos do Cairo - A simpatia e a prestabilidade dos funcionários. Particularmente a Aya no apoio do front-desk e também do Mohri. A localização é excelente, talvez mesmo a melhor do Cairo. As instalações eram boas e funcionavam bem. A piscina é um pouco pequena, mas agradável, possivelmente insuficiente para a época alta. O Hotel fornece um tipo de serviços e amenidades que os europeus esperam, apesar da limitação de venda de álcool, compreensível num país maioritariamente muçulmano. No pequeno almoço os produtos eram de boa qualidade em geral, não sendo excepcionais, mas pode-se dizer que tem um bom pequeno almoço. A falta de espaço na área do pequeno almoço, com cadeiras em cima umas das outras e poucos lugares para sentar. Os copos de sumos eram diminutos.

• El1s4 (10/5): Ottima posizione con vista sul Nilo, ideale per famiglie. - Bellissima struttura con vista sul Nilo, buon ristorante sul rooftop (che offre anche piatti tipici egiziani), sala colazione al piano terra con vasta scelta e ottima qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo viaggiato in famiglia in 4 (due bambini 8-11) e abbiamo alloggiato in una suite superior (upgrade della ns prenotazione). Stanza doppia ampia e comoda, dotata di ogni confort e con grande bagno completo di vasca e doccia. Personale disponibile, cortese e sorridente. Lasciata una piccola mancia al personale che ha rassettato la stanza, i bambini hanno molto apprezzato la sorpresa trovata al rientro in stanza. -

Fajny maly basen z jaccuzzi i silownia, dostepne lody Movenpick i kawy Starbucks z dostawa na lezak. Sniadania nie jedlismy ze wzgledu na wczesny lot, ale dostalismy bardzo fajne sniadanie na wynos, ktore zjedlismy na lotnisku. Cudny widok z restauracji na dachu. Personel super uprzejmy, wszedzie - w recepcji, przy basenie, w restauracjach i na pietrach. chyba tylko tyle, ze bylismy tam za krotko :-)

There's a lot of noise coming from outside the hotel until 2 am, which makes it hard to sleep. The air conditioning is quite loud, but I'm not sure if that's a bad thing because it drowns out the outside noise and makes it more bearable.

• Gianni (8/5): - Struttura in una bellissima posizione personale cordiale piccola piscina disponibile durante il giorno con zona relax molto nella e tranquilla terrazza bella con vista sul Cairo In tutta la struttura non servono alcolici il che è un peccato dato la clientela internazionale e il costo per notte e classe dell’hotel. Il costo delle bevande nella struttura ristorante/terrazza è eccessivo per la qualità del servizio e costo eccessivo anche del cibo in struttura. Il cambiavalute dell’hotel non funzionava

Piscine petite mais bien entretenue et on y est bien. Pas besoin de draps ils sont fournis. Comme petit plus on a eu droit au surclassement. Merci Problème sanitaire (odeurs). Ils ont voulu résoudre le problème de suite. Mais j'ai laissé.
• Hendrikje (9/5): Die Lage ist hervorragend! - Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Direkt neben der Oper, dem Cairo Tower und unweit der Metro. Man hat einen schönen Ausblick. Die Fenster sind schalldicht. Alles wunderbar. Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.
• Christiane (8/5): - Frühstück war wunderbar und sehr lecker - ein tolles Büffet mit arabischen und europäischen Spezialitäten (öffnet auch früh genug, um frühzeitig zu den archäologischen Sites aufzubrechen); die Lage des Hotels ist super! Zu dritt ist es im Zimmer etwas eng, aber in Ordnung. Der Swimmingpool ist sehr schön und eine kleine Oase mitten im Kairoer Trubel.

• Zied (10/5): Exceptionnel - L’hôtel est idéalement situé et très bien géré. Je tiens à saluer tout particulièrement Mme Aya pour la qualité de son management. Le personnel est très professionnel, réactif et attentif aux besoins des clients. Une excellente expérience. Trois beaux restuarant de qualité que nous avons essayé. Chacun a son charme. Le roof top est exceptionnel.

Lors de notre arrivée le lit pour les enfants n’était pas fait et on a dû attendre avant que ça soit fait alors qu’il était 4h du matin! La douchette de la salle de bain était abîmé et n’a pas été réparé malgré ma réclamation!
