Guest Reviews
- Farzana (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (1/5): Bad - Very Small, dirty , towel dirty , tv no works and the staff doesn’t care if u have a problem . Never again , Everything
- Jih (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karnatka (6/5): Pleasant -
- Izzy (2/5): Disappointing - Private bathroom. We were very disappointed with our stay. It wasn’t clean, the toilet lid was broken, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable with only a thin duvet and one flat pillow per person. The overall atmosphere didn’t feel safe at all. At one point, people were struggling to get in the front door for around 30 minutes – they didn’t seem to have a key and were putting their hands through the letterbox. Naturally, we didn’t open the door to strangers, which made us feel even more uneasy. It was also very noisy, with people shouting and walking around loudly. We didn’t feel safe enough to use the shared kitchen, so we avoided it altogether. Overall, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience.
- Cindy (1/5): Don’t bother - Nothing. The room hasn’t been cleaned after the previous guests and no help from the owners. Had to go and book another hotel
- Nicolaas (4/5): Would not book again - Clean They only give you the address 10min before check in. Impossible to talk to anyone from the accommodation. Mattress is horrible! Way too expensive too
- Knapp (4/5): It was a great location as easy to access everything but really bad communication , pillows were flat, not sure it was w - The location and the shower worked fine Pretty much everything
- Mr (7/5): Good -
- Mikaela (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE !!! - Absolutely disgusting. We arrived 1.5hrs after check in time expecting our room to be ready - it was not. Bed unmade, sheets unchanged, duvet on floor, STAINS on the sheets possibly fasces who knows, rubbish everywhere, wet towels, leftover kebab, it stank and was vulgar. We contacted the property and were told lies about the cleaners whereabouts. 3 other guests had similar issues with disgusting dirty rooms, no keys in the lock box, and lack of communication from staff.
I showed one of the other guests the pictures of my room, to which he responds ‘that’s the room they put me in YESTERDAY in the exact same state’. He showed me timestamped proof that it was the same room 24hrs before, he ended up getting a different room to stay in after complaining. This means that they knew about the state of our room over a day prior to our arrival, did not clean it, and KNOWINGLY put is in this room. At first I believed perhaps it was a genuine mistake the cleaner had missed our room or something, but after finding out this it was clear they do not care about their guests one bit.
The whole situation was incredibly dodgy, after speaking with the other guests it’s clear we had all been told different things all of which were lies, and that this is clearly some sort of scam and not a genuine business.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
- Jatishkumar (1/5): Heinous!! - nothing. there was human faeces on the bedsheet, diabolical!!
- Mills (8/5): Very good -
- Rhian (1/5): NEVER GO HERE - Nothing, the host is rude as hell with zero communication skills He said he wasn’t able to host me which is fair enough however he sent me a text saying to apply for a refund I’ve tried for several days to get a £70 refund back and he’s been ignoring me, the cleaner that works for him is rude and she’s a thief
- Siobhan (9/5): Superb -
- Gunita (3/5): Poor - The location. When we arrived at the room, everything looked clean at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. The floor was dirty. We looked for slippers, but there weren’t even any disposable ones available. The bed was messy and not properly made, and we found several hairs on the table and the floor.
The bed wasn’t made properly at all—not even the duvet cover had been ironed. Everything was wrinkled, giving the impression that it had just been neatly re-made after the previous guests without actually being changed.
In the bathroom, there were no basic toiletries—just a hairdryer, a half-used shower gel, and one and a half rolls of toilet paper. The kitchen area was completely empty—no scissors, not even a single cup. We had to go to the store and buy basic necessities ourselves, which was an extra cost.
The host’s attitude wasn’t the best either. When we asked for a broom so we could at least clean the floor ourselves and walk around in socks, we were refused. Instead, we were sent a video from the cleaner where everything looked fine from a distance, but it didn’t show the full reality. The host said the cleaner would come the next morning, but we explained we just needed a broom and would clean ourselves—still, nothing was provided.
Eventually, the cleaner did come, but not in the morning—around 5 PM—by then, we were resting and declined the service.
Overall, not the best experience. Quite disappointing and uncomfortable.
- Moya (5/5): This is not a hotel, is an apartment -
- Marouane (1/5): Bad -
- Gabriel (3/5): Poor - It wasn't clean, and there was no shampoo provided only a shower gel. Walls are thin, and couldn't even initially access the property as it was locked from the inside. The locks are fidgety and don't open properly. Might as well not use the pillows as they are thinner than the shirt I was wearing!
- Kolawole (8/5): Very good -
- Fernanda (6/5): Comfortable stay - Cleaness Wi-Fi wasn't working
- Ivana (6/5): Our stay was fine for the price however it was missing some basic needs. Also last things last, the wifi was really not - The location was really good, subway was located about 10 minutes from the house by walking and there were also a lot of bus stations near by. U have many fast foods in that area but also groceries like Lidl and the facility was modern. Firstly, the property sent us wrong codes for the lockers so we had to wait about 15 minutes until they finally replied and got inside. The facility was modern however it wasn’t very clean, the bedsheets looked like they weren’t changed and there was only one towel for 2 people. Also if you have light sleep it was harder to fall asleep since our room had big windows located right next to the street and the cars were always passing by.
- Mateusz (2/5): surely I will not come back and I wouldn't recommend this place to stay for anyone, unless you want to sleep in a di - it has quite good location - near lidl and mcdonald's, around 20 minutes by undergrond to the city centre it wasn't clean, there wasn't any warm water in the sink, water pressure in the washcabin was tragically low. Contact with the owner - horrible, he didn't provide us with the codes to lockboxes, we spent 45 minutes tryibg to even get into our room, it looked like he tried to guess the codes, changed our room to another when lockbox number 1 didn't work...
- Gustavo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikolaj (7/5): Good - 3 days at the facility and 3 days without WiFi.
- Minter (1/5): Rubbish -
- Matt (7/5): Good - Good location close to public transport. Clean and comfortable. Brief issue with power going out, but the host resolved it fairly quick.
- Lauren (7/5): Good -
- Enenezer (1/5): Bad -
- Jade (1/5): Diabolical - I can tell you what I didn’t like. The property had given us the wrong code to get into the house. We then had to call and was outside for almost an hour trying to get into the property. The property was locked from the inside so we could not get in and another guest have to let us in. The man who was speaking to on FaceTime to show him that I couldn’t get into the property even sent him videos of the door not even opening was really rude and we were stood in the cold for such a long time. It made us late for our event and worried that we wouldn’t be able to get back in After we attended our event. Every time we would ask him how long it will take to get into the property, he would say 2 to 3 minutes but we are stood outside for almost an hour trying to get in and another guest had to let us in.
- Maria (1/5): Dirty room, uncomfortable bed, not the best area in London, but a very cheap option. - The heater for the towels Dirty room, dirty bed sheets, disgusting smell, front door always open, bed and pillows very uncomfortable
- Barbora (2/5): Trust me, you want to avoid this accommodation. - The location offers a Lidl, McDonald's, and several convenience stores nearby – useful if, for example, you can’t actually get into the apartment. On the day of arrival, we got to the accommodation around 9 pm. Following the instructions, we found the lockers where the key was supposed to be. Unfortunately, the manager had forgotten to include in the instructions that other guests should return the keys, as there were only 2 keys for 6 apartments. The key wasn’t in any of the lockers, and after 30 minutes in the freezing cold, the manager (via WhatsApp) contacted one of the guests to let us in.
Unfortunately, we probably weren’t the last ones moving in that evening. At 3 am, someone, likely returning from a party while everyone was already asleep, couldn’t get into the apartment. For some completely incomprehensible reason, THERE IS A DOORBELL IN EVERY APARTMENT, so this person started banging on the doors and ringing all the doorbells. Yes, that's right – from 3 am, we didn’t sleep anymore. Logically, I’m not going to open the door to a stranger at 3 am (read other reviews as well), so tough luck for both him and us.
The next day, we returned to the accommodation again around 9 pm (praying that the key would be in the locker this time). The key was there, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. (The instructions stated that if someone locks the door from the inside with a latch, it won’t open.) So, we contacted the manager. He asked us about eight times to record a video showing how we were trying to open the door. By that point, I’d have sooner broken the key in the lock than opened the door using his suggested method. After waiting for 30 minutes, the manager called us via FaceTime. At that moment, we realized what we were dealing with when we saw an Indian guy on the phone, much like tech support. After 40 minutes in the cold, the manager forced another guest (we suspect it was an acquaintance of the manager) to let us in. This person claimed the door can sometimes be tricky to open. We believe he simply unlocked it because after that, we tried opening the door, and it worked just fine.
- Sheryl (1/5): Don't stay here unless you are backpacking - The room and bathroom were clean. Bed comfortable Only 1 flat pillow each. Not even a kettle or plate to eat on. Tv on the wall facing bathroom door not bed. Every possible channel had to be paid for. Not a single staff member at all. Could not get proper directions to property so thank goodness for station staff. Very dodgy area. Really not for tourists and an hrs walk from the station. Not on
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reagan (10/5): Perfect and very serene environment. 100% - Everything was on point. There was no Curtle for my tea.
- Londons (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (9/5): Comfortable and affordable stay in a nice neighborhood - Everything was ok. The walls are thin and you can hear almost everything but it is what it is, bring some earplugs and youre good to go. The room was cold as hell when I arrived, but the heating is good, so just plug it in and youll feel warm again in no time. It is more suitable for short stays, its worth the price compared to other places in London. What I missed the most was the toiletries. I didnt bring any shampoo nor shower gel and I was really looking forward to take a shower after a long flight, but there is not even a soap provided, which is a shame cause these things are cheap and make significant difference to the guests. Please buy some 💖
- Martin (4/5): Cute - How it looks The staff the service the vibes not the best energy
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Ciaran (10/5): Great value, spacious and cosy stay - Good size room with good en suite, clean, good heating, WiFi with a tv linked to YouTube Bedside lamps has missing lightbulbs
Would be good for some small shower gel and shampoo bottles in the shower
- Bond (4/5): nice but cleaners needs to do better - everything untidy and dusting
the bed sheet duvet cover and towels were used by someone else and never changed
very noisy at night
- Eric (7/5): Good -
- Ava (2/5): dirty room, unhelpful staff - cheap and basic arrived to a room uncleaned from the last guests at check in. I contacted hosts who replied with ‘no worries I’ll tell the cleaner.’ we had to leave and could not get ready in property to go out to a booked event.
I have since contacted the hosts multiple times and have had no reply or compensation :((
room once sorted was fine, but pillows were so horribly thin.
very poor service
- Billy (1/5): Worst iv ever experienced - Nothing I didn’t even stay because it was that dirty Everything about it
- Qwerty (7/5): Good - Nice clean facilities, did its purpose for an affordable price, was close enough to major stations that led us into the city. Pillows were very thin, and a lack of communication left us confused at times, but it worked out in the end.
- Tiffany (1/5): worst stay of my life - nothing the fact we didn’t get a key so we never even got into our room and the owner never once got in contact about it
- Eve (10/5): Perfect, but I think it would be better if you leave water at our disposal - Everything Anything
- Tiago (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (1/5): Terrible - There wasn't anything I did like We arrived and the room was messy, bedding not been changed no clean bedding or towels for the shower, stains and hair all over the bed sheets, tried to get in touch with owners, had to get in touch with booking.com and the owners answer was cleaner is running late, but as we arrived at check in time 3pm surely if the cleaner was running late the owner should of emailed arriving guests to tell them the situation, the door downstairs to all the cleaning facilities was left wide open witch also had a bunch of keys to all the rooms in the property wich I felt was very unsafe as anybody could of accessed any room if they wished to and stolen belongings or what ever they chose to do.
- Hannah (5/5): cheap accommodation, quality as expected for the price. - good location and price was advertised as having a tv and wifi and we had neither.
- Dos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Park (10/5): Exceptional -
- Panagiotis (7/5): Good -
- Ivy (9/5): Superb -
- Bailey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clash (2/5): Complete Disappointment - Having a bathroom and shower to yourself was the only good thing. Everything else was terrible, no staff on the premises and even when you tried to contact them neither of the 2 different phone numbers they had worked or were answered. There we even new guests who were trying to get to thier room but could not contact the owner until a decent amount of time passed. The room is nothing like the pictures, the ceiling above you was so thin you can hear the other guests walking and talking which was troublesome when you needed to sleep but have others walking in around 12-3am. The windows looked right into another building kitchen and when the blinds were closed they kept blowing open and making a noise as there was no AC in the room only a wall heater. The mini fridge made a noise all night and day so had to be turned off and wasn't used. There was no rug on the floor and no table that the photo showed we would have. Te wifi never worked for the rest of our stay as it just stopped working which meant the TV did not work eaither as it required and internet connection. There was a door leading out from our bottom floor room into what would have been a nice garden area to sit and eat but no it was overgrown vegetation and rotting wood with rubbish. Overall the worst place to stay! Will not be booking here again.
- Megan (7/5): Good - The room was simple and what we expected. There was a smell from the bathroom for our entire stay, and as there was no interaction with staff, it was difficult to address it.
- Szelina (8/5): Very good - I had my worries because of the previous comments about the property but before we arrived the wifi password was given to us and it was easy to get into the room we could use towels that it was prepared before we arrived there so we had a good stay in the property. Everything was good. The room could use a little bit of cleaning when we arrived but I spoke to the owner and he asked about the cleaning but at that point we were so tired and we just wanted to freshen up so I told him that no it’s OK we don’t mind so that’s on us. But everything else’s was really good.
- George (1/5): Never got to see the room - No response on phone, I couldn’t check in, totally locked out with lots of luggage after travelling down to London. Utter disgrace. The fact I couldn’t get inside it
- Mary (7/5): It served the purpose but could have been better. - No breakfast available, location ok.
The room is sufficiently spacious for just a bedroom, clean to a level.
The en-suite bathroom is quite small but finished with high standards and the shower and water pressure were great. The bed sheets were not fresh; they had not been changed after the previous guest and had a terrible odor. As someone who values hygiene, this made for an uncomfortable night. Additionally, the garbage at the entrance of the facility was awful. There was no clear method for providing service or giving out keys to guests, and information about these services was not available. The check-in process was difficult because there was no means of contact other than email, and I had no way to access the Internet upon arrival. I was then logged out without access to the property. Fortunately, a couple leaving the property helped me out by opening the door. There is room for improvement, and I would recommend that the managers take note of these issues and make adjustments.
- Paul (8/5): Great stay - Nice clean property I liked the property
- Taia (8/5): Cosy and good value for money - Room was cosy and warm and in a good location Shower wasn’t very good and the pillows were not very comfortable
- Weeriding (6/5): It done for a night - It was a bed for the night. It was really noisy from the room upstairs (floors creaking and I could hear them talking), the WiFi didn't work, there's no full length mirror (just a small round one in the bathroom), the bedside lights had no bulbs in them and I would prefer a chain lock on the inside of the door for extra security.
- Jack (4/5): Lacking room wasn’t made up when we checked inn - Can connect to WiFi but it doesn’t work so there was no tv no internet so we had to leave premises to chase WiFi, that’s not a holiday
- Josephine (1/5): Dirty Sheets and Pillowcase - Location The bed sheets were dirty and no Tea or Coffee facilities
Complained but the staff did not change the sheets and did not reply to the Complaints
- Vaina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kiptoo (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (9/5): High quality budget room - This is a great property, well located and at a great price point for short business trips into London. It is well connected with nearby train and bus routes, and is finished to a high standard. The room is sufficiently spacious for just a bedroom, it doesn't have a desk area but has plenty of storage.
The en suite bathroom is finished to a high standard and the shower and water pressure were great. The security to the outer door needs improvement (did not lock properly during my stay), and the bedside lamps did not work. The bathroom had a slight damp smell too. These did not affect my stay negatively and I would still book again!
- Iuliu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viktor (8/5): Very good - Cosy and clean Check in does not response to conditions... we came at 15.00 and the room was still not prepared, so we came at 16.00 and the same, our room was prepared at 18.00 and we finally could have a rest after long way to London...
Communication of staff was really difficult, as they can not call with you, just texted via Whats App. They dont reply in emergency, you have to call them, then they are ready to texted you back...
- Das (8/5): A fair deal for the area. - Nice enough location, affordable, easy to get to public transport. Rooms were decent for the price point, and we appreciated the inclusion of a mini fridge! My towels were damp and left on the bed. For some reason, there was handsoap in the shower. The stairs were an actual menace.
- Stefano (1/5): Awful - Someone was living in it owner didn’t respond calls or msgs couldn’t get in for a hour and when we did someone was living in the apartment Everything
- Joand (9/5): No wifi - It's a good place for the price. We didn't have the wifi password, we tried to contact several times to get the wifi information, but the owner never got back to us.
We had the issue that, inside the house, the network didn't reach. We couldn't use inside data mobile not wifi.
- Gavin (4/5): Disappointing -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - The room was lovely warm and very clean the bed was also comfortable which means I definitely got a good night sleep. The only problem there wasn't a tv and It took me to find the toilet paper because there wasn't one in the shower room already and realised there was some in the kitchen.
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Pol (8/5): Very good - The building is very clean The entrance door is unlocked all time
- Joey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabian (2/5): Looked nice and solid on the surface, but when diving deeper and look closer it doesn't seem what it appears to be - The way it appears to the eye. It looks modern and simplistic The unhygienic part. Used food packages, pieces of clothes, candy etc. from earlier customers. The floor was very dirty. A lot of dirt and hair. My bed seemed made but once lying down I noticed all sorts of hair that weren't mine.
I asked the host for a different set of bedding, to be fair I did message in the evening (short after my arrival) just after 8pm, but got a response the next day around 3pm.
So to me as someone who's very high and sharp on hygienics, this was a extremely uncomfortable 1st night for me.
- Timi (10/5): Plesante, welcoming and comfortable - For the price I paid this was very high standard The room just had no tv other then that everything was perfect I will be staying again
- Zadi (1/5): Bad - I couldn't even get access to the studio and it was impossible to reach the manager on the phone because his number is closed. I'm waiting to be refunded I couldn't even get access to the studio and it was impossible to reach the manager on the phone because his number is closed. I'm waiting to be refunded
- Xhafaj (9/5): Superb - Clean Small stairs
- Semyon (5/5): Ok price for Zone 2. Expect a level of 1-2 stars hotel. Worst ever communication with owner. - Location in zone 2 for this price is not a bad choice. ~15 mins walking to Canada Water. Property has a shared kitchen that is also a plus. Communication is zero.
We only got check-in details about 2 hours before the check in hour. Owner's phone is always off and it's almost impossible to communicate with them. Response time in chat is several days. Booking.com support neither can reach them. Totally unacceptable.
Room needs some technical maintenance like replacing bulbs and a bit better cleaning.
Room sound isolation is bad. The place has 6 rooms - your comfort depends much on the other guests.
- Matti (9/5): Good nice place very decent price - Really nice and clean room and good location
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, very close to the metro. Cleverly made key box. The room was small but cozy. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to buy it. And someone locked the main door at night, it was a problem to get out of the house. But those are our only complaints :).
- Luísa (8/5): Very good -
- Davide (8/5): Very good -
- Birla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pablo (8/5): Good value for money - Fridge in the room was handy. I tried to contact the host to provide WiFi details but never got an answer.
- Grace (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Squisyrel (1/5): Safety hazard and misguided listing. - Nothing. Seriously nothing was good. There was no AC and host did not want to take responsibility for misguided listing. Missing key upon arrival. The main door cannot be locked and host did not want to fix it. My last night there included a break-in from a homeless man and I had to call the police at 3am. I called the host when the break-in happened but host stopped replying to me after the AC problem. Please please do not book your stay here for your safety. No one deserves the treatment I had.
- Hillary (7/5): Good -
- Kali (10/5): Incredible stay! You deserve better reviews. - Incredible, convinent, good value - you deserve better reviews!
Booked 2 rooms for our trip to London, this was the best looking venue for value I could find at the time of the booking. I then read some reviews and did worry we were going to have problems with cleanliness or accessing the rooms but the trip was seamless...
The host contacted us about and hour and a half before check in with both our access codes and WiFi passwords. It was a easy check self check in process. We arrive and are rooms were just finishing being cleaned. The rooms were lovely and spacious, good quality and lovely and clean. The bedding is so soft and comfy too.
The location is very convinent only 15/20 min walk from the station and about 5 mins away from a lidl and a McDonald's, there's also a nice park around the corner.
Didn't have any issues at all, the price we paid was great value and we appreciate you having us. Thankyou again! 😊 Nothing! All great, as I said you deserve better reviews rather than people being overly fussy!
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lea (10/5): Get ready to discover the suburbs of London - The room has been a great discovery. I feld I could live in a true London apartment, with the peculiar windows, the close proximity of other costumers and neighbors, and the uncultivated garden. I could experience the possibility to be in the suburbs. There is no contact with the owner. The choice of the apartment asks for openness towards traveling by bus, that is the best way to get around in the area,
- Yoav (5/5): Passable - Bathroom in room No wifi password, so no internet, no way to contact hotel personal
- Eva (5/5): Not too bad, lacking some basic comfort - The room was big, quiet neighbourhood - The bathroom is quite small, could hardly move around with the door closed.
- There was no toiletpaper when we arrived. Can be a mistake, but we tried contacting the hotel through Booking and Whatsapp... no reply. So personally I missed interaction with staff/owners.
- Also very thin pillows.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (6/5): Pleasant -
