• Nadia (10/5): تجربة رائعة - أحب أقدّم شكر كبير لكل طاقم أوتيل أروكاتو على حسن الاستقبال والخدمة الرائعة. بصراحة كل شيء كان مميز، من التنظيم إلى الراحة اللي حسّينا بها طول الإقامة. شكر خاص للأستاذ يوسف على مجهوده في تنظيم الجولات السياحية، كان يعرّفنا على أجمل الأماكن ويحضّر برنامج مرتب خلّانا نزور كل شيء براحة ومتعة. كذلك ممدوح في المطعم، كان دائمًا مهتم براحتنا ويقدّم لنا الأكل بالطريقة اللي نحبها. والأكل عندهم بصراحة لذيذ جدًا، كل الأطباق كانت ممتازة، حتى الشيف اللي ما عرفنا اسمه يستحق كل الشكر. وزيادة على هذا، المكان هادئ وجميل لأنه في جزيرة، مناسب جدًا للاسترخاء وأخذ طاقة إيجابية. تجربة جميلة وأنصح بها كل من يحب الراحة الفندق لا يحتوي حالياً على مسبح، لكن هناك خطط لإنشائه قريبا

• YASSMINE (10/5): Superbe séjour à Aro Kato!!! - Séjour exceptionnel à l’hôtel Aro Kato ! L’accueil était très chaleureux et accueillent et la cuisine locale absolument délicieuse. L’hôtel est calme, avec une magnifique vue sur le temple de Philae illuminé le soir. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur disponibilité, notamment Youssef et Mohammed à la réception, Abdellah et notre chauffeur de felouque : Monsieur Nasser. Les chambres étaient propres, joliment décorées. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel !

• Natalia (10/5): - Wonderful hotel with an excellent location on the island, offering a beautiful view of the Temple of Isis. It’s a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay. The staff is very kind and attentive. I would especially like to thank Yousef, who was always ready to help — especially with everyday matters. We could always ask him for advice on where to go and the best way to get there. We are truly grateful for his care and support. He made our stay very comfortable and stress-free.

Este local é um sonho, muito lindo mesmo, apesar de vc ter q pegar um barco para chegar vale mto a pena, vc ficará na margem do Nilo com uma vista espetacular. A comida é excelente, os funcionários maravilhosos , o Ahmed da recepção é um querido nós não falamos inglês e ele foi mto prestativo na comunicação nos ajudou a organizar os passeios e nosso translado para Luxor, foi um encanto a paz desse lugar depois do caos do Cairo. Venham sem medo, mesmo tendo de pegar o barco o deslocamento é rápido e mto fácil. Organizava nosso café pra levar pois saímos cedo para os passeios, me senti triste de não poder ficar mais. De nada, o local é perfeito.

• Wail (10/5): Loved every minute of it. - What a stunning location, absolutely amazing views, and a truly peaceful atmosphere. This hotel is easy-going and relaxing, a far cry from your typical hotel experience in Egypt, which is exactly what made it so special. If you are into wildlife, you will love the herons, egrets and other birds from your balcony. Dinner was cooked fresh to order every night and was consistently tasty (thank you, Adel), rooms were comfortable and clean. You can really feel the pride the staff have in the hotel, and it shows in everything they do. Everyone went out of their way to arrange whatever we needed and make our stay effortless and enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would happily return. Can't think of anything major. Maybe add lights next to the beds and make requesting the boat a little more streamlined.
• Shiva (10/5): Highly recommend Aro Kato when visiting Aswan. - The property is very nice and well maintained . The island is beautifully located. The Philae temple is a quick boat ride away. Conveyance between property and the marina is super easy and promptly arranged by the manger. All the staff had amazing hospitality. The food at the property is excellent.

• Yini (10/5): - There is incredible river view for all rooms. The room is clean, tidy and well equipped. The breakfast and lunch is also very delicious. Last but not least, the service is wonderful. All people there are so nice. They always answer questions in WhatsApp timely and patiently, and proactively provide help even before we ask for. The whole experience is excellent.

• Govender (10/5): Aro Kato Experience - Great local experience for anyone visiting Aswan. It is a must. The staff were amazing and so was the accommodation. The place was very clean! Great view of Philae temple from the accommodation. Would highly recommend if this is your first time to Aswan.

• Maria (10/5): Very peaceful experience - The location is absolutely stunning, with views to the Philae temple over the Nile. The staff was amazing as well, very caring and patient. We loved our breakfast where Rose was really nice and professional. We also enjoy the boat ride around the island. Rooms were spacious enough and have good light and views. If we ever go back to Egypt, we will come back to Aro Kato for sure.
• Antje (9/5): If you want to experience the Nile and the Philae Temple this is the place to stay. - Great location, just a boat ride away from the Philae temple. Super nice stuff , Rose tried everything to make our breakfast memorable. You can swim in the Nile with easy access from the hotel. We came in August so it was flood season. Rooms were comfortable and air conditioning worked well . If you come for a sunrise experience at the Philae temple. This is the place to stay. The hotel boat takes you everywhere on request and for a small fee .

Karim, Omar and Ibrahim were so kind and sweet always willing to help. My family and I felt right at home and will definitely be back. I will also be sure to recommend to all my friends and family next time.

• Chenxi (10/5): We had an excellent stay at Aro Kato in Aswan with its beautiful Nile views, helpful staff, and convenient location near - We had a really nice stay at Aro Kato during our Egypt trip. When we arrived in Aswan from Luxor, our driver took us to the wrong dock due to language barriers. The hotel staff quickly helped us, communicating with our driver and sending a boat to bring us to their island. The white buildings of the hotel blend nicely with the rocks and offer good views of the Nile. It's a quiet, clean place with pleasant landscaping and greenery. The lunch was good value and tasty. We tried kayaking in the afternoon with staff members who stayed with us for safety. When I asked about the place of some submerged ancient Egyptian structures, a staff member kindly lead us there, and we got to see a beautiful sunset over the Nile and Philae Temple. I can see they are very familiar with the surroundings. We enjoyed dinner at their outdoor restaurant where we could hear some people singing in far distance. We love this vibe. The reception was always ready to help - when my friend left a power bank in the room after check-out, they found it and quickly help her get it back I didn't take pictures of our room, but everything was quite new. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious with high ceilings, and each had a small terrace with a view of the Nile. We think Aro Kato was the best place we stayed in Egypt. It's conveniently located near Philae Temple, offers kayaking, and has friendly staff. It's a good choice for anyone visiting Aswan.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
• Xiaobo (9/5): Superb - In summary, I highly appreciate the dedication of the family that runs the guesthouse to make guests feel at home, and the fantastic view in the middle of the Nile river with islands scattered around and away from and the proximity to Philae temple, in which case the guesthouse can arrange boat and ticket for visit at day or night although we didn’t visit due to the sand storm that day, which the host informed us in advance to avoid any trouble. I can’t thank the host enough for accommodating the need for example zoom meetings at 4am in the common area. The food is very delicious. I strongly recommend to stay at this local family-run place and happy to have made the decision not to stay at the other 5-star hotels in Northern area. Very tiny details to improve, like the door lock to the balcony, sanitary at bath room, but these don’t change my praise for the place at all.

I will never forget my stay at Aro Kato Nubian guest house because of this wonderful team who have a lot of experience in hospitality. This island is the psychological comfort for those who need it, which makes you forget the whole world and live the most wonderful days of your life.This island has become my passion and takes me to another world of happiness, passion, tranquility and the Nile, whose beauty and tranquility I adore. I had a lot of fun with the most wonderful team.
• Pierre (9/5): A lovely place… right on the water with Greek island vibes - It’s a very charming property. The rooms are spacious, clean and tasteful. A welcome escape from the buzz of Aswan city with easy access to Philae temple, the perfumeries, the airport and the road to Abu Simbel. The staff are warm, welcoming and accommodating. And they make good coffee at breakfast. We also booked all our excursions / transfers through the hotel… more for convenience and ease. Sadly, there’s a bit of a lack of communication when it comes to food… dinner and breakfast.

• Kara (10/5): Gorgeous luxury hotel in prime location near the Isis Temple - The property is beautiful - surrounded by water, in view of the Isis Temple of Philae, and very well kept and designed. We loved the atmosphere! And the staff who were so welcoming. Just exquisite! Very few things we didn’t like! Our sliding glass door could use a little oil (it squeaked loudly when opening it) but other than that it was a perfect stay! Would highly recommend and will come again. Thank you!

So beautiful and many places around the property to enjoy the gorgeous views. The food was lovely and served with a smile. The service exceeded my expectations. I loved my stay here. The bed is super comfy. The water being heated in the shower before check in. My hot water was not fully heated so I ended up with a cold shower which i didn't love.
