• Patricia (10/5): Como en casa - Todo maravilloso, a un paseo del centro pero zona más tranquila, el trato es increíble y se siente como un hogar alojarse ahí. Un plus, dejan el desayuno preparado para que al día siguiente independientemente de si tienes excursión temprano o no, puedas comer algo antes de marcharte. También tienen sandwichería desde mediodía hasta la noche (buenísimos) El único pero quizás es el aislamiento acústico, al ser una casa antigua se oye todo. Pero nosotros con tapones lo solucionamos!

• Rachel (10/5): A fabulous accommodation choice in Barrio Brasil, Santiago. Will exceed all your expectations - The owners Bàrbara and Francisco, have the philosophy to make their guests feel like they are at home. And they certainly do that. They were both very generous with their time and sharing of local travel suggestions. The building was built a century ago, so if you are looking for shiny and new, this place is not for you! But if you are after a warm and friendly welcome, a comfortable bed in a historic space, in close proximity to public transport to explore all the Santiago has to offer, then this will be your home away from home! The food offered on the inhouse menu was also delicious and excellent value. The breakfast was also very substantial.

• Margarida (10/5): - The building and its architecture are beautiful, the room was quiet and the bed incredibly confortable, but the highlight was the staff's kindness and willingness to make you feel at home. We had very interesting conversartions with Bárbara and her partner, we would definitely come back. Also, they have a cafeteria where you can buy delicious sandwiches!

• Gustavo (10/5): Great value, beautiful place in the heart of Santiago - The location is great, with many things to do walking distance. The building itself is really pretty and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My favorite part was the service. The hosts are incredible people, kind, accommodating, and they made the experience of staying here even better. This was an 11/10 stay. The breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, toast, deli meat, among other things. That I didnt get to try their sandwiches. They looked amazing. I wish I would've had more time to try their kitchen!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Fenster, dadurch war es etwas warm trotz Ventilator (gerade wenn man im Sommer dort ist) Demnach gerne ein Zimmer mit Fenster anfragen ;). Uns hat es nicht so sehr gestört, gilt nur als Info für zukünftige Gäste :)

• Michelle (10/5): This place was a little gem that I found on a travel blog “foreveroutofofficetravel”. The two hosts Francisco and Barbar - I thought the property was homely and cosy and super clean. It’s very obvious that Francisco and Barbara have worked in 5 star service and they bring that to their new venture. The shower pressure was great, the extended length self service breakfast ideal for flexible plans and getting a few bits of laundry washed was such a bonus. Francisco is also a chef and the sandwiches are amazingly tasty. I stayed here 3 nights and it was a great base and I would definately return if travelling through Santiago again. The location is a 30 mins walk to the centre but I like travelling by foot so that wasn’t an issue for me. I liked that it was located in a quieter area. It felt very authentic.
• Adam (8/5): - Francisco was an excellent host and very helpful and spoke excellent English which was super helpful for this gringo for getting around town. The location was good with close proximity to everything. I think it might be unadvisable to walk the neighborhood at night, but I ended up walking back at 1am and all was fine. Everything was clean and fresh. Complimentary breakfast provided. The price can't be beat! Couldn't ask for more for a place to stay for a few nights in Santiago.

Los dueños son una pareja encantadora que están muy atentos y nos facilitaron en todo momento nuestra estancia. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y son comodísimas. También nos gustaría recomendar los sandwiches caseros que ofrecen y que están riquísimos. Castelletto totalmente recomendable!

The owners are very accommodating and stored our luggage for us for a couple of days while we travelled to Rapa Nui. Checking in late and leaving early was never a problem. A unique funky part of Santiago and it's interesting to walk the streets nearby to see the street art and not far to walk to the cbd. Would totally recommend staying here! Need to take precautions at night in Santiago at night and we were cautious not to walk the streets here at night.

We had to leave very early in the morning and were grateful for the breakfast being ready for us in the morning. Felt very safe and secure even in the heart of the city. Would stay here again!

Much thanks to the person who helped us check-in, my card had an issue when I booked with Hotels.com but he helped us figure it out quickly to confirm our stay. We thought the high temperatures would be a problem but the staff kindly put a fan in the room to help us cool off.

Die Begrüßung sowie die Betreuung während unseres Aufenthalts waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war okay. Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden – die zentrale Lage ermöglicht es, viele Ziele bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zudem fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut. Eine Empfehlung.

• yoshikoy (8/5): Safe, and comfortable B&B in a quiet residential neighborhood - The B&B is in a quiet residential area near Plaza Brazil, where there are many bars and restaurants. I liked the large bedroom with polished wooden floors and the large bed. Owners (I think) were very nice when we met them at check-in. However it seemed they disappeared after check-in. We were told to get our breakfast from the breakfast bar and the fridge, which was fine, but when I wanted to ask some questions later about the transport, I could not find anyone around. I thought it would have been nice to see them just to say good morning and thank you at check-out. We just left the keys on the breakfast table before leaving. For security, we had to deal with 3 different keys at the entrance of the house, then another one to the room. It got rather confusing and the second door was a bit tough to open (probably a copy of a copy) using my friend's keys. So, it was kind of frustrating for us. Wish these keys were numbered so that we didn't have to try every key to find out which one to use on these doors. The stairs seemed too steep with the lift covering up the handrail as we had no place to hold onto. It was tough carrying luggage up and down on these steep stairs.
• Carole (10/5): A wonderful, warm welcome. - A very warm, friendly welcome from Francisco and Barbara. Excellent hosts offering a great deal of information about the city, restaurants and transport. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed comfortable and a welcome hot shower. The lounge/dining room was cozy, with unlimited tea, coffee and water available. The breakfast was delicious with a good choice of food. The location was convenient for the central sights and many restaurants and bars close by. A wonderful stay at a very good price.
