• Melanie (1/5): Owner cancelled reservation at 1.54pm. - Na I arrived at the destination and was waiting outside the front of the apartment for 2pm check-in. Katrina called me at 1.54pm to notify me booking.com had not paid her and she was cancelling the reservation. She then proceeded to tell me there was a water leak and she was really sorry but I could not check in. I definitely would not recommend this lady . Clearly she has no empathy for people and their time or resources. I had no word's for how angry and upset I was for being treated like that . I had taken two days off work and caught two buses for this trip.Please avoid this lady at all costs !!! I'm sure I'm not the first person she has stuffed around and mistreated and I'm sure I won't be the last ! Do your self a favour and book directly through hotels and boycott greedy people like Katrina .
• Lisa (7/5): Great value for money, close to all amenities - Location to beach and cafes was excellent. Some appliances were dirty and there was a big wad of hair in the shower plug hole.

• Susa (7/5): We did enjoy our stay and would go back. - Great location, pool fab and the apartment was spacious. The resident Wallaby’s provided endless entertainment . Kitchen had everything you need . Lounge was comfortable and so were the beds. Owners very approachable and helpful . Could do with a better clean , Bbq was left dirty .

• Michelle (9/5): Superb - The Coral Coast Resort Inn provided exceptional value for money for an overnight stay, having two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom, as well as a swimming pool onsite, close to the centre of Palm Cove. As FNQ locals we personally stayed to be close to medical appointments and appreciated the affordable price tag.

• Brian (4/5): Some things about the unit made our stay there disappointing. - The self check in was easy. The unit was well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. We were disappointed upon entering the unit to find it had what seemed to be a really bad dog urine smell. The bread and food snacks we left on the kitchen bench overnight were covered with tiny ants in the morning, as well as cockroaches running around everywhere. The items we left on the bathroom vanity got wet from a water leak coming from the ceiling above. There was quite a lot of noise from the unit above and the dogs in the next unit barked quite a lot.
• Janine (3/5): Mildew, Mould, Cockroaches, Spiders….No, we’d not stay here again! - Location was okay but quite a way from the Palm Cove esplanade. We had a car so it wasn’t an issue. Lots of issues. The main issue for us was the whole place smelt of damp and mildew. There was mould around the bathroom sink and the shower. Spiders and cobwebs in the bedside light. Cockroaches everywhere. Seemed to be decorated from an op shop. Even the lift had a horrible smell. We arrived an hour early and the cleaner was there, so we left and came back an hour later. So we know it was ‘cleaned’ prior to us staying. It really does need a proper deep clean before allowing anyone else to stay here. I know it’s FNQ but that’s not an excuse for the damp. Prior to staying here, we were in a similar apartment complex in Port Douglas and it was immaculate. It was a huge apartment complex so quite noisy overnight. I slept okay but my friends bedroom was overlooking the car park and due to car doors slamming and people chatting, she didn’t sleep well at all. If we’d booked for more than one night, we’d not have stayed even one night. It’s simply not good for our health to stay in a place that smells of mildew, as well as the issue of sleeping with lots of cockroaches and spiders!

It's a bit of a walk to the esplanade, which we enjoyed making. We were out every day, but the property was a great place to lay down our heads.

• Katie (8/5): Very nice unit, large and comfortable. Very happy and enjoyable stay. - There was a large area of mold on ceiling in bathroom. May have been from a leak, it did not look good. ACs were very loud when turned on to the point of switching them off to be able to sleep.

• Jithin (9/5): It was overall a good place to stay. - The location was close to the Palm Cove beach. It was better if there were Kitchen towels and Hand tissues. Also min 4 big plates, there were only 3 and rest were small. Also put a map or guide to rubbish bin will be helpful.

• Carla (1/5): Stay away from here! - Nothing The filthy fridge, the leftover food all over the BBQ from the last people, the mat and kitchen sink drainer covered in mould, the mouldy, dusty air-conditioners, the dirty bathroom and kitchen sponges, the mouldy bathroom ceiling, the musky smell, the place crawling with cockroaches in the early hours of the morning. I woke up to 2 roaches crawling on me during the night! We booked 2 nights but checked out early for our own health and safety!

• Georgina (8/5): Great Value for Money - I loved the check out was 12pm . There were lots of little extras which was nice, it was spacious and comfortable and you really couldn’t beat the price. I would have liked to have milk, getting up to the room with stuff and 2 kids was difficult but once there was good. The neighbours are very loud at all hours but really can’t complain with the price.
• Satomi (10/5): Everything is there in the compact but comfortable apartment - It was a superb luck which they gave us . Accomodation is very nice especially the price was exceptional for the night. We enjoyed beautiful tropical nature from the back veranda. It’s not big but usefully, nicely compacted . We enjoyed a quiet evening together with our young adult sons . Check out time is 12:00 gave us another relaxing time in the morning 💓. Thanks to the owners and cleaners 😉. Cleanliness, well managed and setting up and check out time.

Great spacious unit. Saw some wildlife from the balcony. Had everything we needed. We appreciated that you made the effort to clean with non toxic cleaners. Thank you very much. Nothing major that I didn't like.

• Fiona (10/5): Booking again - Wow! The perfect holiday home with every consideration taken care of. The full kitchen and laundry were a welcome relief after our nights in hotels. Lovely furnishings, comfortable beds and a pretty outlook from the veranda. Definitely booking here again. Unfortunately, the bbq ignition was broken. The oven and extraction fan could have been cleaner.

TV in 1 bedroom did not work BBQ plate very dirty tried to clean it in the sink and it wouldn't clean completely no scrubbing utensils available
• Helen (8/5): Very comfortable and we enjoyed having two bedrooms. - Although a large complex, the apartment was quiet. It was well stocked with most things you would need in short term accommodation. The view from the generous balcony was lovely. We could almost touch the trees. The clothes dryer didn't work on the "heat" setting, so we had to wait two days for our clothes to dry on the outside clothes airer.

Dated apartment with thoughtful inclusions and facilities. Communication excellent with hosts who are working hard to keep guests happy. A few small cleaning issue need attention Balcony, black mould on Venetian blinds and kitchen sink. - but a very comfortable and happy stay.

• Jacquie (7/5): Great pet-friendly apartment - It was very clean, comfortable, and homely. Great value for money, one of the better pet friendly accommodation options we've ever found. There was a strong, chemical perfume through the apartment and a strong smell of softner or something on the sheets. It wasn't a bad smell but it was strong and a bit sickly. It may also be an issue for pet owners that need immediate access to the gardens as the apartment is on the first floor.

• Ali (6/5): Nice facilities, pool needs some sort of heating and please and tradesmen not to bang around in the mornings. - Good kitchen facilities and spacious room. Parking good and lifts. Nice stroll down to beach. One room smelt a bit smokey- not sure if it had been smoked in previously? We were woken up by a very noisy tradesperson on the first morning, banging loudly outside our room at 7am which was frustrating and very annoying when we needed a sleep in. We found it was very noisy every morning with tradies and a person using an extremely irritating leaf blower too. Not what you want to listen too on holiday when you are needing rest and relaxation. Pool freezing - too cold to swim in in July- our boy was really disappointed by this as looked like a lovely pool and he was looking forward to his swim.

• Angela (7/5): Comfortable Palm cove apartment - The property was comfortable and reasonably priced. There was some lovely soap provided and all the cupboards were well labelled. It was helpful having access to a concierge trolley. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to try it. We were unable to get an internet connection. As there were 4 of us we would have all liked to have all sat out on the balcony for a BBQ but there were only 2 seats.
• Carolyn (3/5): If we had been staying more than one night we would have left and gone elsewhere. - The property location was fine as we could walk 1.3 km yo restaurants. The unit was obviously someone’s holiday apartment and not professionally cleaned or prepared. There were skid marks in the toilet and long black hairs in the bathroom and living room. The dryer didn’t work. When we had a shower it set off a burning smell from the hot water system in the kitchen. When we texted management there was no reply even though our access instructions had come from this number. There were no staff on site, no reception and no wifi for that matter.
• Qinchun (10/5): perfect! - very beautiful room. With many kids' picture books, DVDS, books, and a picnic basket. The balcony has a running water device which is interesting. the location is not very easy to get to.
