- Ashley (1/5): This is a scam - do not book - This is a scam - do not book The host will not respond to you and will cancel on your day of arrival claiming floods/damaged. Got Booking.com involved twice and still no response. Needs taking off the site entirely. I followed my hunch on the morning of arrival and booked elsewhere and am now getting my refund

Kreditkarte wurde belastet, aber der Vermieter schickt keine Informationen zum Einchecken, auch ist er unter der angegebenen Telefonnummer nicht erreichbar und meldet sich nicht zurück. Wir mussten uns stattdessen eine andere Unterkunft suchen.
- Yousuf (1/5): Beware its a scam! - Nothing. Beware… We booked an apartment in Brentford three months before arrival. One day before our arrival, we contacted the owner who assured us everything was fine. After arriving at Heathrow, we contacted him again, only to be surprised that the accommodation had been changed to a place far away in Heathrow without any prior notice, in an area distant from services and transportation. We filed a complaint with Booking.com. But the Owner wouldn’t replay calls from us or booking.com A very bad and completely unacceptable experience due to the added trouble of searching for new accommodation, and we had to pay a larger amount. Also, we did not receive a full refund despite it not being our fault.
