Clare (8/5): Great location rural peaceful stay just outside Girona with supper helpful managers - Location was great as we had a hire car. Easy to get into the city, a day along the coast and easy access to the national parks inland. I’m really not comfortable with the bathroom not being g seperate from the bedroom but we did know that before booking so that’s my issue not theirs. Shame we were out of season it would be even better when the bbq and pool are open

Sílvia (9/5): Relax i desconnexió. - Un lloc molt tranquil on anar a descansar i desconnectar. El jardí, l'entorn de la casa i la piscina són un oasi meravellós. I l'esmorzar molt adequat, amb tot de complements que t'ofereixen (iogurts, ous ferrats, ous remenats...). Els masovers són una parella jove encantadora que ens van acollir molt bé i ens van donar moltes facilitats. :) L'habitació que vam escollir tenia el bany obert i això va ser una mica complicat de gestionar.

Philip (10/5): A beautiful casa rural just outside Girona. Everything about it was perfect. - Fantastic building in a very rural setting but within easy reach of Giróna. We had travelled for 6 hours so Daniel very kindly offered to provide us with an evening meal which was excellent and so kind of him and his partner. Breakfast was excellent and our room was fabulous and so quiet.

Estaba bueno, pero no era un buen genero. Nuestra habitación no tenía luz externa y el lavabo (WC) dentro de la habitación sin puerta, nada de intimidad si vas en pareja.

Marc (10/5): Toplocatie! - Dit is een echte toplocatie voor wie houdt van rust en stilte. Alhoewel het slechts 1 km van de weg afligt kom je terecht in "the middel of nowhere". De laatste 500 meter gaan over een met steengruis verharde en erg hobbelige weg. De nog jonge gastheer en -vrouw zijn supervriendelijk en attent. Je kan er ook 's avonds table d'hote nemen en dat is best lekker, maar de keuze is wel beperkt. Er is een buitenzwembad wat bij hete dagen een fijne extra is. Er is een airco maar die heb je niet nodig want de muren zijn er een meter dik. Goede uitvalsbasis om de mooie stad Girona te bezoeken die slechts op enkele km's van de B&B ligt. Niets

Via booking werd hier aangegeven dat het ontbijt 'voortreffelijk' was en bij aankomst was dit enkel; toast, jam, sap en moest je via de host aangeven of je eieren wou. - Wifi: In onze kamer hadden wij geen wifi. - Zwembad: Door de dagen heen zagen wij in het zwembad veel dode bijen en wespen. Hierdoor was het niet aantrekkelijk om te zwemmen. - Prijs kwaliteit verhouding: Wij vinden het niet waard om 170 euro per nacht te betalen voor dit hotel. Voor die prijs verwacht ik op z'n minst een fatsoenlijk ontbijt, elke dag schone handdoeken en wifi. - De kamers waren schoon, maar rondom het hotel lagen er uitwerpselen van de dieren op de grond.

Priit (9/5): - Maamajast hotell, kõrval hobused. Meie ööbisime väikeses kääbiku-majas. Väga ilus ja hoolitsetud koht, vooluveega bassein, saab olla ka puude varjus. Isegi oma kabel oli olemas. Omanikud väga sõbralikud. Hommikusööki ei jõudnud maitsta aga korra tegi perenaine omletti. Asukoht pole kergelt leitav. Kui GPS kohapeal asukoht sisestada, siis jõuab päris lähedale. Metsateel on kõrgema autoga parem sõita.

Midden in de rust van het Catalaanse landschap maar vanuit hier kan je alles opzoeken wat je nodig hebt op vakantie. Daniel en Xenia zijn geweldig, ze geven je het gevoel welkom te zijn en creëren met aandacht een thuis gevoel. Er viel niets tegen.

Arrived late but food was prepared for us with a choice, accompanied with a nice glass of local wine. Nice quirky room, with good facilities. Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - The owner and his girlfriend are absolutely wonderful. We loved that it is remote and in the countryside (20 min drive to Girona). We got excellent recommendations for where to eat and places to visit. You need a car to stay there as there is no public transportation. But having a car was great because we got to visit nearby medieval towns and an outdoor museum. Travelers need to adjust expectations because the staff is limited. But if you go with a flexible mind and open to a new experience, this place is great.

Marcrl (9/5): Great place with nature close to Girona - Great rustic home in the nature close to Girona. The hosts are wonderful, they take great care of the house and the guests. Breakfast is amazing full of true catalan products, delicious. If you want to see Girona but have peace in the nature this is a great place to stay. All was good! Maybe the fact that the bathroom had little separation from the room but they are limited by the actual historic house. Totally understandable.

Luuk (9/5): Relaxing stay just outside Girona - Very welcoming host, Daniel was also a good source of information. The premises are still in development, but already beautiful and inviting. Small but nice swimmingpool. A small discomfort was the shower. It was located in the bathtub. We couldn't hang the shower head as there was no knob on the wall. That is probably an easy fix. For the rest a great place to stay and relax.

Lynn (10/5): Well worth the trip - The property is a beautiful family home set in a very rural location, and is so peaceful. Our host Daniel was very welcoming and was able to give us useful information for our days out in the local area. The food was delicious, and the history of the house and chapel are fascinating. We could only stay for two days!

Ina (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay! - Daniel is a super nice host! We really liked our room an the bathroom. Everything ist made with a lot of love. The breakfast was really good too and the whole house and the souroundings are very beautiful. The house and the landscape ist beautiful. We didn't expect that the house is pretty close to the highway. The good thing is that you get everywhere very fast and easy. But when you sit outside you can hear the highway pretty clearly. The room we styed in was beautiful but you can hear the neighbours. The walls are pretty thin an when you have little children next tu you you cann literally hear everything.
Verified traveler (10/5): - Honestly, one of the best stays we have ever had traveling around. This Masia is beautiful! The breakfast was fantastic! The host cares so much about his property that it made us love it even more. This beautifully restored Masia is breathtaking and we just wish we would have had more time to spend there. The pool area is so relaxing and they even have stables with horseback riding for the guests. Again, one of the best experiences we've had. This place exceeded all expectations and it was only 9 minutes away from downtown Girona. Must stay!
Verified traveler (10/5): - We chose Mas Tulsa because we are countryside dwellers ourselves, and were looking for a tranquil, "home from home" experience. I am delighted to say that Mas Tulsa delivered precisely that, and in spades. Our "room" would more accurately be described as a chic, modern studio flat, but with all the charm and architectural features of a traditional Mas. What was even more splendid was that the back door of our little studio opened out to a lovely patio area with stunning views of the Pyrenees. There are many more wonderful aspects of this charming place that I could share, but I feel that might rather rob others of the pleasure we found in discovering these treasures during our stay. I will offer you this clue - be sure to meet Aslan, and also the catwalk horses! On a more practical level, the property is extremely well located close to the main road/motorway network with Girona City and Banyoles within easy reach (15-25mins depending on traffic). The Caldes area with the hot springs is awesome - we went to the Magma spa which was superb. Dali's house at Cadaques and museum at Figueres also brilliant. Lovely and memorable holiday! Mas Tulsa is a family owned and run property, and I would like to thank Dani and his family for their generous hospitality and making our stay so enjoyable.
