• Anya (1/5): Think twice before staying here - Great location, close to the old town. The biggest issue was the shower. The drain was so clogged with hair that it was impossible to take a shower without the water overflowing, flooding the bathroom. I immediately reported the issue. Obviously, a shower is an extremely important facility for travelers who just got off of an hours-long flight from Boston. The host promised to send someone to fix the issue the next day, since it was evening. The next day, we received no communication from the host until 6 pm, when they finally told us nobody would be coming to fix the shower until the following day! That would leave us without a shower for 3 days out of our 4-night stay! We decided to cut our losses and move to a hotel, which was a great choice. The hotel we moved to felt luxurious in comparison to this apartment. Not having a working shower and needing to practically beg the host to fix the issue was the last straw for us. I will briefly mention the other issues - stains on the bedsheets and couches, no soap in the bathroom, and extremely loud noise in the morning. This apartment has potential, but is poorly maintained, probably because it is run by an impersonal property management group. You would be better off staying at a classic hotel or supporting local hosts and saving yourself a lot of stress.

• Adam (5/5): This place is weird - The apartment is just HUGE. It's almost like a maze. It takes the whole ground floor of a two storey house, and it's tucked among high-rise buildings of Nikosia. It's on a side road, which is not so busy. It's a bit noisy in the evening (windows/doors make no sound insulation at all), but it's not that bad. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to the old city. Internet works. Aircon is in every room, and works. 1) Any communication with the owner is a big problem. The "STAY" group, which owns dozens (maybe hundreds) of properties around Cyprus, is a behemoth, and communicating anything outside the "normal flow" is a pain. They force you to upload personal data and documents to some online system, and then to enter card information for deposit of 250 EUR (which is substantially more than the declared 150 EUR). They keep sending you dozens of emails, informing you over and over again, that when you don't pay deposit, you won't receive access codes. I entered all the personal data, but the button for payment did not appear. There was some chat in the system, but the answers were truly robotic. It took enormous amount of time to convince the robot/operator to actually give me some answer and solve the problem with payment button (in the end they sent me extra link via email). After succeeding with all the hassle, we were told we would receive the door code on the day of arrival. Well, we didn't receive anything. It took us nerve-wrecking dozens of minutes of frenetic communication via whatsapp, to actually get the code - all of that while already on the way, with the whole family with kids, still not knowing a couple of hours before arrival, whether we would have a place to stay or not. 2) The apartment is very old and shabby. It's actually a very strange (and unappalling) mixture of very old (like more than 40-50 years old) things (old wooden windows, old wooden doors, most floors) and newly renovated things, like the bathroom, which is relatively nice. But for example, INSIDE (!) the new glassy shower corner, there is an old wooden window, too. 3) Some rooms have carpets: these carpets have probably never seen vacuum cleaner, and are infested with dust and mites. Our allergies kicked in soon after arrival. 4) Nearest parking many kilometer
