Las instalaciones eran preciosas en cuanto a restaurante, piscinas, villas... El personal muy atento y amable. La comida espectacular. Las mejores vistas a la cola de ballena. No puedo poner ninguna pega. El acceso al lugar necesita de 4x4 pero desde el hotel insisten en cerciorarse de ello. A nosotros nos estafaron en el alquiler de coche y tuvimos que hacer un cambio en la compañía.

• Murat (10/5): - In 3 Wochen Costa Rica, war diese Unterkunft unser absoluter Favorit. Alles war einzigartig, von der Lage, dem Pool, dem Service, der Aussicht und dem Essen. Es war ausnahmslos ein 5 Sterne Aufenthalt.
• Lou (10/5): Merveilleux !! - Tout était tout simplement parfait : l'accueil chaleureux, le lieu (vue splendide, établissement moderne), les villas (spacieuse, moderne, propre). Bien que l'accès nécessite un 4x4, cet endroit vaut le détour. Je recommande à 100% !!! Un excellent rapport qualité prix. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait également avec vu sur le parc Marino ballena. J'ai adoré cet endroit. Vous pourrez y admirer un fabuleux sunset. Foncez, vous ne le regretterez pas :)
• VBER (10/5): Exceptionnel autant pour la vue que le confort du logement la qualité des prestations. - Difficile d'accès (4×4 impératif) mais une fois sur place le lieu est exceptionnel. Magnifique vue sur Bahia Ballena. Hotel magnifique avec des prestations très haut de gamme. Nous aurions aimé pouvoir y séjourner plus longtemps. Personnel très agréable. Rien exceptée la piste pour y accéder. Mais bien indiqué sur Booking et confirmation du l'hôtel qu'un 4x4 est impératif pour accéder donc pas surpris.

• David (10/5): - Velice krásné místo, jediná náročnost je v tom v jaké výšce se ubytování nachází a není snadné se tam dostat. Má to ale velký přínos, odradí vás to od zbytečného cestování a o to víc si můžete vychutnat vše co resort nabízí. Od přírodního vodopádu po procházky v pralese :) Konečně nebylo v noci takové horko :)))) a nebylo potřeba vůbec zapínat klimatizaci :)

• Marco (9/5): Fantastische Ferien - Jose Alberto an der Bar hat uns sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich für Morgen- und Nachtessen bedient. Dazu wurden wir sehr nett und auch zuvorkommend von den Concierges per Whatsapp betreut. Eine Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel mit Ausblick auf das Meer ist einfach traumhaft.
• Alexander (10/5): Die Unterkunft würden wir sofort wieder buchen. - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist absolut top. Phantastischer Blick auf den Pazifik. Wir hatten die Wohnung mit der Aussenküche. Das war echt mega. Der Weg hoch von der Hauptstrasse ist schon eng und der Schotterweg typisch Costa Rica. Also besser mit Allrad hoch.

The main villas had an infinity pool with an amazing view, happy hour and dinner. The staff were very helpful. I would book again when in the area. Nothing! A very memorable stay.
• Mark (10/5): Unique high quality property, to die for views of Uvita Whale Tail and fantastic caring owners - Amazing location and fantastic owners who went the extra mile to make our stay a truly memorable experience for all the right reasons. A good 4x4 vehicle is essential as the road to the villa is a bit of a challenge drive, but the reward from the picture perfect views and being far from the hustle and bustle in town make it more than worthwhile. As well as the beautifully located and well equipped villa, the colocated raised BBQ rotunda and pool area and very nearby hotel cocktail bar with attached infinity pool and very helpful concierge, delivers all the benefits of your own self catering accommodation plus the service and facilities enjoyed by residents of a very high quality boutique hotel specialising in unique uncrowded stays. Villa complex includes access to the hotel's private well marked forrest trails of different grades, including a challenging one to a private waterfall which we loved. We also used the well equipped laundry room. Already highly recommending to friends and planning when we can stay again. While we visited the electrical power went off a couple of times at the various different properties on the whole hillside, but Jeannie and Greg were outstanding in making sure we had sufficient emergency lights and matches for the gas stove and turned what could have been a miserable evening into a truly memorable night BBQ watching the most amazing electrical storm over the Uvita whale tail island
• Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing property, private villa with access to sister property Rancho Pacifico. We were treated as preferred guests and the staff was ready to assist in any way necessary. The views from the property were stunning, wildlife abundant, landscape beyond compare. Do you want to see toucans, anteaters, pineapples, soursop and bananas; then books and go outside. The owner and staff are first rate. We extended our stay because it was too good to leave.

• Christian (10/5): Luxury and extraordinary villa with great view - Feel like god in heaven. Best place with luxury accommodation and gourmet restaurant. The crew is highly qualified, best services. I recommend a lift from the parking lot to the villa, because the last 4 km are very very challenging, even for 4x4. One way downtown per day is free. An extra tour costs 25$. Fascinating view over Uvita and the whaletale beach. Great garden with palms, trees and flowers. From the pool you can watch butterflies and many birds. Some trails around the place, nice lonely beaches around Uvita.
• Laura (10/5): Superb villas with large comfortable bedrooms complete with jungle views or ocean views. - The sister hotels served delightful but pricey breakfasts. The lighting could be improved. The pot lighting placed in the very high ceilings of each room made it quite dark on partially cloudy days. The concierge did provide us with portable table lamps which made a great improvement to the ambience of the villa.

However we felt misled because our studio was not part of the gated complex but down the hill with a separate entrance. The pool and main area are wonderful. Our couch. It wasn’t a villa but a studio. We could have had our towels changed more often. We stayed for 2 weeks and it would be helpful to be able to do laundry.
• Alexandra (8/5): Really stunning property with beautiful pool - as long as you're a super confident driver (with 4x4) - Absolutely stunning property, finished to an exceptional standard. Really high ceilings and high gloss stone floors. Really comfortable beds and high quality bedding, and we slept so well here. It was a luxury to have a beautiful bathroom each. There were great extras like dressing areas and handy storage areas which were really useful to keep luggage and shoes out of the way and to keep a sense of calm. The whole house has been designed so thoughtfully with high end materials. It feels like a really special place. The view was divine and the shared area and pool were gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the toucans, hearing the jungle sounds and loved watching the sun set from the viewing area tree stumps. The grounds are also beautifully manicured. I would rate the property 10/10 for the property itself but have taken 2 points off for communication and management. Doron, the owner was very helpful. I didn't feel it was made clear just how difficult and long the road up to the property is. We had a 4x4 in the beginning of dry season and it was very tough going. I am a less confident driver than my husband and there would be no way I would have felt comfortable driving it. It takes 15 mins up a hairy dirt path with massive rocks and potholes. It's really stunning when you get there. The communication with the property manager could have been better and more proactive. At the last minute a new person turned up to show us round and it was clear he didn't really know the house very well. There were a few small but annoying things that a luxury property should have sorted,, like the batteries were flat in the TV remote and the TV was crazy complicated. After a week in the Osa jungle in a cabin, we really wanted to chill with a TV that worked. All the appliances are top of the range and new but no instructions. The cooker looked brand new, but the oven gas went out every time the door was closed. One of the windows didn't lock. The pool lights didn't work due to a power outage and the shared area lights don't come on till 5.30pm - no-one told us this, and it was down to us to ask. We felt guilty about messaging people as it was Xmas, and it could have been avoided by proactive communication in the first place. Make sure you get everything explained really well at check in.

Furthermore the hosts were so helpful and friendly. We do recommend a 4x4 car to get to the accomodation. Absolutely perfect!

Doron, the owner, was very prompt on any questions we had. The grounds are gorgeous and so well done. The drive to this location is intense. I wouldn't call this a not like, but it was definitely something that was a little uncomfortable, and I feel like needs mentioned. This is no fault to the owner, and any location in the mountain is like this. But as Americans, we are not used to these kinds of roads. Which are more like 4 wheeler roads straight up a mountain. You need to rent a 4×4 vehicle, and Doron did reach out to let me know this after my booking. But once at the location, it is gorgeous and worth it!

The location is outstanding with one of the best views we have experienced. We loved every square inch!! Especially ‘The Ranch’ a purpose built viewing area adjacent to the pool. It is magnificent, with a fridge and a BBQ with views to die for throughout the whole day.

In the middle of the jungle, up in the mountain, you can see lots of birds and other animals. Far from the noise of the town. Supermarkets are about 10 min away from the property and Uvita beach is just about 15 min out Doron and Patricia were great hosts, provided useful info and tips about tours and places to eat out.
