• louise (1/5): - Location and distance to the tube. We complained about the property, as there were quite a few issues with it. Upon arrive in the evening: We noticed the property doesn't seemed up have been cleaned properly... The place did not smell clean, there is dirt and dust in most corners, hair on the stairs etc. Floors do not seem like they have been hoovered or mopped All skirtings are pretty dirty. Most surface are dusty or grimy. The bathroom is pretty grimy, with black dirt on the skirting under the sink unit, the spare toilet roll thing is pretty grim, with dirty dusty ant trap next to the toilet. Again, skirtings and corners dirty, the shower door has dirt mould on door and is not clean around the drain hole. The shower has been temperamental, going hot and cold when using, t In the evening it turned off when I was having a shower and won't come back on! The sink is blocked slightly, water takes a while to drain. The drawer handle on the sink unit has toothpaste and dirt from previous occupants. Windows - not all windows open only one near TV, the bedroom with two windows only one near wardrobe opens, other window has a cracked pain of glass and doesn't open. Bedroom with one window doesn't open and cord is broken also dust on wall surface above mirror. The weekend has been extremely hot, so not being able to open all windows and no fans supplied failing the windows being unable to open is not ideal. Kitchen - cracked plug socket behind microwave, things haven't been checked in cupboards, most things are dirty. There is a random cup of water in the cupboard, I am assuming the last people who stayed put this in there to see if it would be checked! Have left this in there! TV remote doesn't work, so TV unusable, no spare batteries. This is not an acceptable state to find the property in, it feels neglected could do with a deep clean and repainting. General cleanliness and a working shower are just basics

• Catharina (1/5): Gute Lage, abgewohnt, Ameisenplage. - Die Lage war gut. Deutlich abgewohnter als auf den Fotos. Die Schränke waren aufgrund eines üblen Geruchs nicht benutzbar. die Betten sehr klein und durchgelegen. Im Badezimmer gab es eine Invasion von Ameisen, die aus dem Türstock herauskamen und während des Aufenthaltes so viele wurden, dass wir schlussendlich 2 Tage vor Abreise in ein Hotel übersiedeln mussten. Leider gab es seitens des Vermieters kein Entgegenkommen bzgl einer teilweisen Rückerstattung der Kosten.

• Cerasela (10/5): Perfect place to stay in London - We stayed at Quaint Homes in Chelsea for two days and really enjoyed our time there. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. We were on a business trip, so having an iron and all the kitchen appliances made our stay much easier and more comfortable. The area is lovely, and the apartment itself was spotless, warm, and everything worked perfectly. It was truly a cozy and convenient place to stay. We would happily come back!

Casa descuidada en neteja - Casa situada força a prop del centre i ben ubicada envers transport public (a prop de parades de bus i de metro) Casa bruta, força bruta. Les fotos penjades a booking son enganyoses. És un apartament molt petit. Hi ha una foto d’un saló que no existeix. La casa fa mala olor, especialment els armaris. No costaria gens tenir-la en millors condicions. Pany del lavabo trencat. No es podia tancar la porta des de dins.

• Kathy (5/5): Not pleasant - Location I’m menopause and suffer from hot flashes and there was no functioning air conditioner. Couldn’t keep the windows open due to no screens. Kitchen floor was very dirty and didn’t use the towels because they looked unwashed. Brought my own.

• Lyublyana (4/5): Disappointing - Location is probably the only thing this place has going for it. Baffled by the high rating on this place. It's scruffy and small and definitely far from as clean as I'd like AND expect. The bathroom is tiny (and the shower is a box with a super dirty appliance inside) and on the first floor while both bedrooms are on the second floor which is quite uncomfortable. There were some stains on one of the bedsheets AND we were supposed to be 4 people in there and there was a total of 4 towels inside (no kitchen towel, no bath towel, no nothing). Also despite the residential neighbourhood the sound isolation is none existent and you can hear everything at every hour of the day and night and constantly feel like someone is coming inside. Also, also there is camera on the windowsill of the apartment across which is weird at best and very disturbing at worst. Overall, one of the most disappointing places I've ever stayed at personally and would never recommend.
• Sandra (7/5): Look for other options to stay - To be honest, not much. Very noisy. You will hear plane above your heads, thin walls and noise from vicinity and everything from your neighbors. Very dingy.
• Carmen (8/5): Great value for money - I chose the location because it was relatively close to main attarctions. There is a shop close by, restuarants too if one doesn't feel like handling cooking, and train/metro station within 10 min walking distance. The owner was very nice to allow us to deposit the luggage inside before check in hour, as we had our arrival flight very early in the morning. Communcation was very easy and replies came fast. For us, 2 adults and 2 kids, the place was sufficient because we were there to visit, we were gone all day, so we basically needed a place to take a shower and sleep.

• Nick (10/5): Great location . - The location is fantastic. The property is ideal for a couple or small family .The easiness of booking and communication with the owners was quick and easy and any questions quickly answered . And really clean as well. Nothing to report here!!

• Marco (8/5): Very good - The environment was really nice, the apartment was clean enough, all together a good experience. Edo is really friendly. No electricity plug in in the bathroom. Some tea or a bottle of water would have been nice. Quite noisy neighbours.
• Steph (9/5): Great location, perfect for a quick stop over - Great location, fantastic for the price. Suited my friends and I well for one night. I think anymore than that would have been a little squeeze however for what we needed it was perfect. Would recommend for anyone needing a quick stop. We searched for a Just Park as well and it turned out to be right outside the house which was great. Stairs are a little steep, bathroom has a tiny smell of drains and we used the cafetiere with what we thought was coffee but turns out I think it was tea so maybe a label on the stuff would be best. But this is barely anything to complain about.

• Valerie (5/5): We liked the location but not really the property . - The location very convenient for the underground, shops and restaurants The stairs were really steep with very small treads. This was not mentioned in the description. It was not very clean the floors and the shower cubicle. The bedding and towels were not of good quality . Downstairs smelt of cigarettes and upstairs in the cupboards it smelt of mould. I complained about the tobacco smell and the stair rail which broke. The property manager did respond quickly got the rail fixed , provided air freshener and a complimentary box of chocolates and bottle of Prosecco was provided.

• János (10/5): Great apartment, even greater location. Recommended - Very nice place, friendly host and a location which is hard to beat in Chelsea, South Kensington! Highly recommended. Somewhat smaller than you would expect seeing the pictures. Nevertheless, comfortably suitable for a family of two adults and two kids.
• Dawn (10/5): Perfect for a stay near Chelsea. Lots in walking distance, very peaceful, with everything you need. - Well stocked kitchen; peaceful neighbourhood; compact yet with everything we needed. Parking was tricky nearby as mainly residents only, but that's just London nowadays!

Make sure to read the additional information before booking this property; double check what the property requires for check in (I was asked for identity documents to be shared via email or WhatsApp prior to my stay which is somewhat unusual).

• Rob (8/5): Lovely mews property in an excellent location. - Small but comfortable mews property close to Earls Court with excellent transport links to explore the rest of the city. Beds quite soft, probably fine for some but we prefer firmer matresses

• Rene (8/5): Very likeable little home, top location in Chelsea. - Quaint is a very good name for this place, in a very authentic mews, sideways of a beautiful street in Chelsea. We smiled every time we returned to this temporary home. Top location with 3 Tube-stations within 1 km and Stamford Bridge even shorter distance. We received the entry code too late, which was unnecessary and very annoying. We (2 persons) enjoyed our stay very much, but we thought that staying here with 4 persons would seem to be a bit cramped.

• Julia (9/5): Exactly what we wanted. Close to lots of amenities and public transport links. - Extremely clean and well fitted out. Bedrooms were spacious and it was quiet at night. Only slight downside is that bathroom is downstairs but that would be unavoidable given the layout of the house.
• Alexis (9/5): Superb - The flat was clean and presentable and looked just like the pictures shown. The kitchen cupboards and utensils were clean and was adequate for what we were looking for. Shower was good, beds were really comfortable. There was black out blinds and the street was quiet. The location was amazing. 10 mins walk to West Brompton tube station. 2 tubes and around 20 mins to most central attractions and to natural history museum, science centre etc. BBC earth is 15 mins away by foot. Wifi was good. The stairs were steep and so not suitable for elderly but fine for us

• Carolyn (9/5): Easy, relaxed, everything there you need - Quaint mews cottage off the road through an arch so very quiet. Clean modern with a kitchen n table n 4 chairs and a sofa. Two beds n bathroom. It has very steep quite challenging stairs to the two bedrooms and the bathroom is downstairs.

• Edoardo (10/5): Definitely worth the stay - The mews is very nice and characteristic. You can see the inside has just been refurbished and it has everything you need. Everything was clean and tidy and the location is great, in a very quiet area near transports. The host has been very nice and replied almost immediately during the whole stay.

• Avigail (4/5): Would never stay here again - The location is nice, as is the host. Almost everything. The place is tiny. Paper thin walls and windows (no noise insulation from within and outside). Dangerous staircase-steep, narrow, no rail. Not very clean (huge stain on sheet for example). Smells bad. Falling showerhead. Bathroom not on the same floor as bedrooms. No nightstands. Very unpleasant in all respects.
